I placed these in the door of a boxster to replace the factory speakers. Not a lot on the bass but the sound quality is excellent.

They were easy to install and sound a lot better than factory in my 92 dodge pickup.

Ok these where an excellent upgrade from my stock speakers on my 2013 victory cross country tour motorcycle ,I also added an amp a 300 watt Rockford fosgate punch the sound is amazing

These speaks sound pretty good and overall a good value for the price. They are sensitive to power, so they will get louder with less energy (great for lower power amps and head units).

The original sound system in our kid's 99' Jeep XJ was on its last leg, so I searched the Jeep boards and found others had success with direct fitting these Alpines. They're a thousand times better than factory, with crystal clear sound. Not much in the bass department, but that's to be expected. Great speaker, exceeding our expectations.

when upgrading from stock speakers to alpine I get great sound even from my factory radio.

Equally adept at producing piercing highs and deep lows. Amazing sound in such a small package. Actually needed to adjust front/back to keep from over powering the sound from the rear.

Bought this for my daily and it was a great update to my old speakers. Clarity was perfect for me. The reason why I didn't give a 5-star was because I was hoping the bass output would be better
