I compared this to the bose and jbl of the approximate same size and for less money, almost as good sound but the ruggedness of this little speaker sold me on it. Room filling sound and I figure I get around 10 hours of play time before needing to charge.

This thing boost some power for the size. Clearly better with higher bitrate music. Sounds great with Apple Music. Can't really hear any distortion at full volume. Waterproof/floating capability is legit. Love it.

I absolutely love this speaker. The sound quality is fantastic, it's portable, Bluetooth compatible, waterproof, the works. My only issue is that when I stream Spotify through the Bluetooth the sound quality seems to diminish. When I play music from my phone library it is impeccable but considering I listen to most of my music on Spotify it is saddening that it doesn't work as well. Maybe it's me though!

Surprisingly loud and clear for such a small device! I've had the Bluetooth UE Boombox which I love for a couple of years but wanted something smaller and more rugged to toss in my beach bag and use by the pool without having to worry about sand or water damage. The Mini Life Jacket is perfect for such use. I tossed it in the pool right after I got it just for fun and it actually floated and kept on playing. It's convenient being able to charge with a mini usb cable and the battery life has been just fine. The 'power on/off' voice that some complain about is not a big deal. The only negative I would say is that it doesn't sound quite as 'full' and room-filling as my larger UE Boombox but that's to be expected since it's quite smaller. I'm happy with this purchase after much shopping around looking at similar products.

I bought this speaker for the main purpose of teaching yoga and fitness classes in multiple locations. I needed something compact and portable that would also produce enough sound to carry throughout a room. The volume is incredible as well as the clarity! Easy to connect with Bluetooth. Power is also decent, lasts about 10 hours. I love this speaker and would recommend it to anyone looking for compact quality.

I love the capabilities of this speaker. The speakers are awesome. I have been able to use the Bluetooth for phone calls and the caller can hear me clearly. I love it being so portable and the battery life lasting so long. Great purchase

Ruggedness, sound quality and versatility are all great. It pairs easily and provides everything necessary for simple charging and the battery lasts a long time. The 3 button interface is fine - but the instructions don't go into much detail about turning it on and off (hold down the power button for a few seconds - just like if you were pairing it). Overall, it was a bit pricey for my needs, but I knew I was paying for durability and I liked the way it looked compared to other units that clearly didn't seem to be designed for outdoor use.

The sound is loud with good quality. It has easy controls. Love that it's waterproof. Compact size makes it easy to carry with me. I haven't tried the mounts yet. Super price point.

I listened to all the little speakers on the shelves and this blew the others away for the cost, great sound! Alec Lansing is a name synonymous with good sound and the price point along with advertised 10 hours of playback did the trick. Speakers sounded much better in the house then at the store; must of been all the background noise? Check price though because I paid $40 cheaper in store then what's advertised. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS LITTLE PORTABLE WATERPROOF SPEAKER; TAKE IT WITH YOU ANYWHERE...

I'm amazed by the sound quality, VERY good, AND WATERPROOF, not water resistant, WATER PROOF! The bass is pretty good, but just a tiny bit more would make this a top rated selection. But wow, for the price, this was the best sound and being waterproof made it an easy pick. All wireless speakers are expensive, so this one was a great deal, the next better quality was about a 25% jump in price so not worth the better bass (but also a loss of waterproofing)

Love this speaker. Its pretty much indestructible. It claims it can float but we put it in the water and it slowly sank. We pulled it out of the water and it continued to play music with no problem. Good sound, perfect for you and a small group of friends to listen to and not disturb everyone around you.

I have attached this speaker to my stand up paddle board using various GoPro mounts as well as on my jet-ski. I'm very pleased with the sound quality and volume, except for on my jet-ski. I knew better but was hoping to be able to hear it. Love the fact that it is shock and water resistant. I have yet to have a problem with it and I rinse it off with water regularly. Long battery life ready for playtime.

I bought this for my work area, I am in a pretty noisy environment. I need a speaker with some volume to overcome space and background noise. This speaker fits the bill. Sounds great, and is easy to use. The only gripe I have is price, but all these speakers are expensive. At least this is a well made tough little speaker, so some expense can be justified

Bought it off a whim. Saw all that it offered in is features. Floats, water resistant, dust proof, so on so forth. Well its all true. Not to mention incredible sound and volume. Easy to link with Bluetooth. Simple to use. I'd suggest this to anyone that enjoys being around water.

I used this for a trip and it worked past the 5 hours that it said. It connected quickly with the iPhone and took all of 1 minute to setup. The sound is amazing. I could hear it from a 4th floor all the way down to our boat dock, and it was crystal clear. Excellent purchase. Also i took it on my kayak and dropped it in the water and it continues to work flawlessly. Definite recommend to purchase. Well money spent.

first off this blast some great sounding music.you would think that much sound would be coming from a much bigger speaker. this thing can be taken anywhere. its water proof, great for the shower.

This speaker delivers a quality sound at a loud volume for how small it is. It does not have a very big sound though when compared to the equivalent-in-its-class Bose or Marshall Bluetooth speaker. It's durability features though are hard to beat!

I dropped it right away and it didn't break, it sounds amazing, and is truly water proof. The only thing I don't like is turning it on, it's super loud, can't figure out how to turn it down. The battery life is way better than the time it says!
