I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! ITS A EXCELLENT PRICE FOR A QUALITY PRODUCT. ITS SOUNDS GREAT,DURABLE AND HAS AFUN COLORFUL DISPLAY. MOSLEY YOU CAN HERE THE QUALITY! THE MULTY COLORS ARE A PLUS. THE DURABILITY I TESTED BY MISTAKE. I DROPPED IT. AND IT BOUNCED 2 OR 3 TIMES AND NEVER STOPPED WORKING. LOL EXCELLENT BUY!

Big things come in small packages. I was surprised of the quality and how big the sound that came out of this small package.

Pretty good speaker i guess the only reason why i rated it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the battery could use more life (gets on red after 3-4 hours) and sound could be little a bit crisper/bassier (although its still more than sufficient enough) and maybe even a tad bit louder (again, still more than sufficient enough). Good speaker for the value and overall i recommend it :)

I’ve owned other AL mobile speakers and had good experiences with them. This one is no different. The following are the stand out positives: - Easy setup and connectivity. It connects to Bluetooth on your phone or other device with zero hassle. - Good build quality. I tested the water resistance by taking it in the shower with me and it performed like a champ. When it fell off the soap nook in my shower to the floor 3 feet below, it continued working with no issues due to the rubberized bumper sleeve which encases the unit. - sound quality and volume are good. As with most devices of this type, setting your volume slider beyond 3/4 on your host device is not advisable - doing so will result in distortion from the speakers. Even so, this unit seems to tolerate higher volume signals a bit better than most. The lighting effects are cool, but incidental to me - I really don’t care much about this feature. - Charging is quick and easy, and battery life is good - in my tests the unit played for around 2.5 hours before it came up with a low battery warning. YMMV. All together, a great value for a great sounding yet lightweight portable speaker!

I looked at 4 different brand speakers before deciding on the Alrec Lansing. I decided on the unit based on Altec's history of making large audio speakers and the price the unit was on sale for. I found the unit easy very easy to use and the sound it produces is fantastic . I purchased this unit also because it being waterproof and its compact size allows you to place it in the beverage holder slot on a golf cart and be able to enjoy some good music while playing a round of golf. I also like the feature where you can use the unit as a portable power source to charge your cell phone in case it happens to go dead.

I love this thing! It's shockproof, waterproof, dirt/sandproof, and you can even use it as a powerbank to charge your phone! The customizable mood lighting that changes color based on the music is cool too if you turn that setting on. Battery life is really good. It floats if you drop it in the water. Sound is amazing! Has a lot more punch than you would expect from how small and portable it is, and it can go pretty loud too. But the best part is the lack of Bluetooth lag it has. I tried all the other name brand Bluetooth speakers and they all had the same problem: of you used the speakers to make a video you were watching on your phone louder, the sound would be off. If you watched a video with someone talking for example, their lip movements would be in sync with the words, but with this Altec Lancing speaker, no such problem! Also, if you have more than one, it can link to other speakers in party mode which is cool! Best all-around Bluetooth speaker I've tested!

I got it as a present and at first I thought: hm, too small to be good, I thanked my pal, but I didn’t pay any attention to it. But WHEN I TURNED IT ON, oh my THIS IS QUALITY SOUND! ACTUALLY it’s better than my other Bluetooth speaker, which surprised me, since that one’s a big name brand (Bose color sound) and this is a brand I Had never heard much about. With a couple of days using it I learned some cool things this baby can do (charge phone, it FLOATS!) and most importantly THE SOUND IS A LOT CLEARER AND BETTER than the Bose. This is a great little speaker. I use it in my Rzr and it’s loud enough to hear over the noise. We also were caught in a rainstorm and it’s still going strong. It also connects super easy to my iPhone. Highly recommend!

This is a nice speaker, easily connects and provides a great sound. The bass is not over bearing and the mid range is present and the high end is not scratchy or tinny. The jacket provides great protection. Definitely a value for the price!

I purchased this many years ago. So long ago, over 5+ years now. It still works perfectly! I can charge my phone with it. The sound is WOW! I highly recommened this!

This portable bluetooth speaker has flashing lights and is all-proof. (water, dirt, etc) The battery life expectancy is sufficient for everyday use. The sound is very clear and gets quite loud but there are louder speakers on the market.

Product is easy to use, has a great sound and holds a long battery charge. Highly recommended to other customers. The disco light show is also a nice extra benefit/ touch.

WhenI first picked up the speaker at the curbside pick up, I was like WHAT? That's it? I was little bummed that I couldnt use it right out of the box, but it did not take long to get a charge on it to use. That little speaker blew me away. The sound was amazing and all the other features were such a bonus. The lights are a great touch when using this by the pool in the evening. My kids all loved it, made it feel like a party!

It had good sound quality and decent bass despite it size, waterproof, lights up and good battery life.

I habe 3 different Altec Lansing speakers. This one was a gift for my mother. It's compact and suits her needs. I have 2 of the Boom models as well. One in my work truck and the other in my shed. They hold up to rain and being dropped. No connection issues, excellent battery life and they're built solid. Definitely recommend to anyone who would use this outdoors
