Sound good, but always somethingsl wrong.

I love how these sound and look, but craftsmanship is very bad. I had to take and return 2 times already and just got my 3rd set, and one of the lights doesn't work. The first set... was missing a mic and one speaker didn't work, it had a bad cord. Got my second pair... no power whatsoever, returned it. I am really not in the mood to take these back a third time because of light being out, they are big and heavy for me to keep packing up and returning. So very disappointing. When I call customer service, they want me to go through warranty, send the speakers back to the company and then they will replace in 15 days. No! It's a crap shoot on what you're going to get. Good luck!

The speakers are surprisingly loud..hooke up a projector for outside and Bluetooth the projector to play through speakers,plus the changing lights is a nice feature .

These big boys comes with 2 great mics and you cant imagine how good is the microphone quality. Best karaoke machine ever. l wish the mids are little bit better but still, for the price, it's amazing!

I love these speakers but sometimes they do act odd and turn off on their own or switch modes. They are loud but I expected them to be a lot louder.

Great speakers for a party, even outside!

I bought these for a graduation party so I didn't have to hire a DJ. They worked out perfectly. The volume was enough to fill my whole yard with sound. I made a playlist, hooked up my phone, set it and forget it. 11 hours straight of playing and not one hiccup. The kids even enjoyed doing some karaoke on them towards the end of the night. The lights are cool as well, I was able to set them to green which is the school color. One of the best purchases I have made. If I had to pick out a negative it would be that on heavy bass songs (like rap) the bass is pretty muddy. But this was also at full volume. Overall, great set of speakers and can't wait to use them at my next kids grad party in 5 years. Great value for the price.

These speakers sound good, music is not muffled, but clear, not the loudest speaker I've ever had, but they are tall and thin which is a good space saving design.

Love these speakers. Bought them for an outdoor graduation party and they worked great. We now use them for outdoor karaoke and movie nights!

Had my eye on these for a while and bought them on sale - they did arrive damaged, the one speaker tower had the grill dented but Best Buy made it right! Setup was quick and easy, plug one into the other and the other into the wall, put batteries in the remote and you are good to go. I find the sound to be of good quality, nice high, mid, and good bass. The light feature is nice, you can cycle through about 8 colors that will pulse with what is being played. Mine quickly paired to my iPhone - I also tried one of the included two microphones, not an expert here but they work. Not sure if they are of singing quality or just to emcee your party. All in all I am super satisfied with these!

These bluetooth tower speakers have really good bass but lacks a little in overall volumes. They still sound good but could use a boost on the volume.

My 15yr old son wanted speakers for gaming reasons and because of the party lights on them well it did not disappoint the clarity ,the bass just buy them they pack a punch..

Overall I was expecting higher volume out of these; bass is decent. I got these on sale and i wouldn’t recommend these at full price.

Speaker is fine and after 10 months remote failed

Speaker is really good and we were enjoying. The remote stopped working on 10th month of purchase, called the Altec Lansing support people, they said Remote will be shipped in 15 days. Its almost 2 months no sign of remote shipment.

I am very happy with my purchase. We had a blast on Christmas Eve with the speakers. Bluetooth capabilities, hooked them up to my TV, and kareoke microphones to boot. Awesome product.

Ok speakers bad microphones

Speakers are ok. Not enough bass and not as loud as i thought they would be. Also when turned very loud sound gets distorted. Also microphones did not las and one didnt work at all after 3 uses.

Overall the sound quality is just average but the speakers come up particularly short supporting bass tones for songs that really need it. The Bluetooth pairs easily and devices consistently stay connected. Light colors are easy to change but the flashing doesn’t synch with the music that’s playing so it’s really just a gimmick; installing better woofers for the same purchase price would have been a far better value in lieu of incorporating these lights. If you’re looking for an average sounding pair of standing speakers that are easy to synch via Bluetooth and also connect via wire to several other device types, these are worth considering.

Absolutely love these. Customer service is weird but helpful. Yes they have to be close to each other unless you get an adapter that's hard to find.
