Hilarious! I've been wanting to get this as a gift for years. But Finally I just decided to buy it for myself and I dont regret it. As funny as I remember.

This movie is really cute! As with most kid movies these days, there's some lines that fly right over the kids heads that make the adult laugh. However, my almost 9 year old has started to catch on and understand lately.

My 5 year old loves this movie. He watches it several times a week.

The chipmunks we all know and love causing chaos wherever they go! I've watched his movie daily with my one year old for at least two months (probably more) and I'm not sick of it yet! Great, modern, music with that old chipmunk flair. Great movie for adults and little ones. Best of all is that this set comes with a digital copy so I don't have to keep track of the disks themselves & worry about them being damaged but at the same time I can send them with my son when he stays with someone or my Internet is down!

i grew up watching alvin chipmunks when i was a kid the cartoons was one of my favs to watch when i was young and when i heard that they wear making live action movie i was like oh no but when i saw it i was like ok not bad at all i like the first one they made but all the other ones wear not as good and each one after the first one got worst so if you want a good family film to watch than watch the first one only bc it is good for the whole family to watch so check it out

Was shopping @ my local Best Buy and my son asked for the Alvin & the chipmunks movie and of course I said he can have it. How could I say no, when I was a child I remembered watching Alvin and the Chipmunks it brought back memories of when I was my sons age. It was a great movie to watch together. Highly recommend. Thanks Best Buy

The best Chipmunk movie out of all the ones that have been made thus far in my opinion. It sets the mood for telling the audience who the chipmunks really are and that they are just as popular as they were years ago as they are today. A feel good movie to watch with the family especially around the holidays.

My grandchild loves Alvin and the Chipmunks on television so when we gave her this DVD she loved it. Sat totally engrossed for the entire movie. She loved the singing and the story. Now I want to see if there are more movies to buy with Alvin and the Chipmunks. Reasonably priced too!

I bought this as a birthday present for my 8 year old niece. I've always loved Alvin and the Chipmunks and I was sure my niece would like it too. She LOVED it!!! When she called to thank me, she told me it was her favorite

The movie includes human actors interacting with the singing cartoon characters. There is a plot to the movie which can be enjoyed by anyone over age 3. Younger children may not be entertained enough to watch it through to the end.

Daughter loves this movie. Watches it over and over. Great deal with three ways to watch: bluray stays safely at home, dvd goes into the minivan DVD player and digital copy is loaded up on the iPad for when we're away from home.

This movie is very funny and will have you laughing and wanting more! Alvin, Simon and Theodore (as well as Dave) really do connect and become such a wonderful family and its a great example of how to treat our little friends out there!

My grandchildren loved "camping out" in our living room and watching this movie. Of course they didn't sit still too long---they were dancing to the Chipmonk's songs!

The beginning of a beautiful friendship. Dave meets the chipmunks, they sing, they become very popular, and they learn that having everything they ever wanted isn't all that. They need boundaries and guidance, too.

This movie is a favorite of my 4-year old son and also one of mine. Such a great film that is meant for kids but also keeps moms and dads in mind with some adult only jokes. Highly recommend!

This movie was purchased for my 6 year old son but it is a great movie to watch with the whole family. We made a family movie night of it with popcorn and the works!

This is a great family movie. Not only did my kids love it, but I found it fun to watch as well. The story line behind the movie was a good lesson too. Overall I give this movie a big thumbs up!
