Q: Can this model vent via a duct system - - thru the roof?
A: Yes, it comes configured to vent out the front over the door. But can be changed to vent out the back(wall vent) or up thru roof(stack roof vent)
A: Hi Jerrbear, the AMV2307PFW does feature a two speed fan, the fan will also automaticall turn on during any cooking operation. It also features a Night Light

A: I have come across this issue on other microwaves as well. There is a chip on the control board that controls the dimming function of the light under the microwave. When the lamp shorts out, it can take out the chip. This is only for the lamp under the microwave.
A: The microwave vents out of the top of the microwave from grills within the front inch of the microwave
A: It's louder than others I've heard but it has 2 speeds. The lower speed is much quieter. But the high speed is better than a forced air furnace blower. I vented mine through the wall and into the attached garage (Condo). The fan really pulls any smoke or odors up through the aluminum filter and out into the garage. I love this new Amana. Simple key pad, sturdy, cooks faster than my counter-top microwave of the same wattage, and a super price! I also bought an Amana Gas Range to match. Open box. Saved $114 because the manuals were missing.

Amana Microwave
I like the sleek look of this microwave. The inside was the main reason I got this microwave. Do to the fact, I have a splatter shield that is magnetic and it sticks to the inside top without any problems. For some reason , they have put a plastic plate on the inside top of so many microwaves and it limited me on purchasing any of them. I found that so frustrating. I do really like this Amana microwave for another reason is it does not have a name plate on the front of it, and that is a plus. it heats fantastic. The only downfall is it does not have the instant one through six minute setting, just the add thirty seconds setting. But it is a great microwave and I am thinking of getting an extra one for future use. The price is a great price considering what some costs of microwaves today.

The best microwave with right price
It is the best microwave so far. This new microwave replaced the same brand name Amana that was still working for the last 15 years or more. The new one runs quiet. The exhaust fans run also quiet and have automatic speeds switching based on cooking temperature or hot steam below it.
