Q: How quiet is this dishwasher?
A: Not at all. It's the loudest dishwasher I've heard since the 1990's. I have a 900Watt surround sound system in the next room that can't drown out the noise this thing makes. I have the same model, but in white.
Q: Does this dishwasher have a spray bar on top and bottom..
A: Yes, this dishwasher has two spray arms for the top and bottom racks.
Q: Does Best Buy remove and dispose of the current dishwasher and do they install the new one?
A: yes, they charged $14.99. I felt it was worth it.
A: I’ve only used the normal cycle. Takes about 2.5 hours I think. Loud but effective machine.
Q: Can I use dishwasher pods in this model or is there only a section for liquid?
A: Yes, you can use pods in this dishwasher. I do and it works great!
Q: How do I regularly clean the dishwasher?
A: When you are washing the dishes in the dishwasher, you are also cleaning the inside of it. However if you haven't used it in a while, you can run it on empty, add a dishwasher cleaner to the bottom of the tub. If you don't have a dishwasher cleaner available, add 2 table spoons of bleach. If you don't like bleach, add a cup of hydrogen peroxide to the bottom of the tub and spray the walls and areas with it in a spray bottle. You can create a sweet-scented dishwasher cleaning “bomb” with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and essential oil. Google that.
Q: Is it normal for this dishwasher to keep stopping and going through the wash cycles?
A: No, mine cycles through without stopping
Q: Does this unit have a feature for drying dishes?
A: Yes but it’s not super effective if that is a priority. There is generally still a bit of water here and there.
