This product review based on the 'Price-Driven' purchase decision I made. My 2 year old buddy knocked out my aged Panasonic Plasma - the absolute king of the Plasmas - Consumers Report highest rated Plasma TV ever. I was hoping to eek out a few more years but to repair the set just didn't make sense for the cost. This set blew the Plasma out of the room! Immediate and huge improvement over a very good picture. When shopping, I compared by stats online and then went to the store to see the quality of several sets for myself. Best Buy would NOT allow comparison of the same video on each set I was interested in so I could not get the fairest comparison. They also did not want to allow me to make any adjustments, but a great sales rep did show me the settings and made some adjustments for me. (Multiple sets looked at were 'pushed' to max settings...) There were only 3 sets that compared for my price range at the time. Hisense, Samsung, and this one. The Hisense was considerably brighter by rating but when running the repeating demo, was not more impressive than the others, but the brightness is a huge factor for me. The Samsung was fine as well, but more than the Fire TV and less features (lower brightness than the Hisense). I finally went with the Fire TV - more features, built in Fire TV, and Fire Remote with voice features. The TV itself also has voice control, so you tell it to raise volume, turn on, turn off, go to Netflix, etc... Fully Amazon supported, including a Remote App with a keyboard for cell phones - very cool for entering passwords and online access while watching the TV. Overall very satisfied for the Price. No one has ever had anything bad to say about the brightness or picture quality - only compliments. Sound quality is better than expected as well. I thought I might end up buying a sound bar, but it has been great with the built in system. Fire TV Will be at the top of my list when shopping for televisions in the future. Recommend that you go to the store and view the TV in person to make your choice. Photos do not do the TV justice - photos taken in a bright room in the middle of the day - you can see the window reflections. I did this on purpose to try to demonstrate the excellent brightness and picture. Using a cheap indoor antennae (flat sheet coax style - not powered) gave me more local channels than I could ever watch (I am right in the middle of the DFW area in Texas - refer to photo for 'Live TV' - I do NOT have cable!).

Perfect tv for someone that uses streaming services… alot of options and very easy to navigate as well as customize. No complaints. A nice looking, well built television. What a great price also! ($599 on sale)

Laggs, doesnt turn on with audio command, and TV is non-useable if you loose the remote. PIN feature is great if you didnt have to put it in 3 times to get the show to work and then every episode thereafter. Picture quality is great, when you can get it on.. DONT LOOSE YOUR REMOTE!!! Waste of money and I cant return it.

Hello NicoleL! I am terribly sorry about the issues you are experiencing with your Omni QLED TV set. I personally have this TV as well and have noticed on rare occasions that it doesn't take the automatic software updates and that can definitely enhance your experience if it gets those updates. You can also improve any lag you may experience as well if you reboot your TV very similar to rebooting a computer. Fortunately, you can find both of these under the same menu setting. Go to Setting>Device & Software>About>Check Software. There, you can install any pending updates or download pending updates. Under the About section, you can select Restart to reboot your TV. You should also have near endless functionality available using just your voice if you have Alexa enabled and not mute your mic. This should allow you to control the set without a remote. We also sell additional Fire TV remotes in the unfortunate event that you lose or damage the one that came in the box. There is even one that is sold separately that is available that allows you to use Alexa to find your remote if you lose it. (Alexa Voice Remote Pro) If you have any additional assistance that is required to help answer questions or resolve issues you may be experiencing, I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331. Absolutely love the tv. Picture and soylund are amazing. It is heavy so need a strong wall mount but it is perfect. Really easy to use dont have anything bad to say about tv would definitely recommend it

This is the first time I had purchased an Amazon Smart Fire TV and I am very happy with the television. I had looked at several other brands and I found this particular TV to be exceptional. The quality of the picture is excellent. I am very impressed and very satisfied with the TV and would recommend other customers to purchase it.

Fantastic tv. Color quality is incredible, and the built in Alexa features make this thing perfect for my home setup. It knows when I enter the room and turns itself on. Love that. Sound is also great, and I dont nees a sound bar like I needed fory Samsung.

Bought this TV for the price and because we didn’t want to fork out a ton on a big brand like LG and Samsung of this caliber and I must admit I’m in love the this tv and for the value it’s amazing. The picture is so clear and beautiful.

Had to do a reset of picture/color settings initially to get an acceptable picture--reds way overdone. Even then picture settings had to be carefully adjusted to get at least some semblance of natural color. But it was worth the effort. Pleased with the result.

Love this tv so much I’m gonna start replacing on my other tvs with this brand I use the echo studios and sound for surround sound using voice feature with Alexa won’t turn off tv when prompted
