★★★★★ The Amazon Alexa 11 is an excellent smart display with a bright, clear screen and responsive voice controls. Alexa makes it easy to manage daily tasks, play music, control smart home devices, and stay connected. Setup is simple, and the sound quality is impressive. A great addition to any home.

Alexa is awesome! Got this after getting the 5” echo because the screen was bigger, so far it works great and like asking it questions. Truely recommend

I love this device it makes my kitchen look more high end, has a great speaker-that get very loud but sound stays in one room so doesn’t cause disturbance in other rooms of the apt or with the neighbors I love the calendar settings, schedules for my daily activities, also how easy it is to get recipes and grocery list sent straight to my phone

The Alexa screen is really useful and easy to use. The screen is clear and bright, and it makes things way better than just a regular Alexa speaker. I like being able to see the weather, time, and reminders at a glance. Watching videos, checking recipes, and video calling are super convenient. Alexa hears commands well and responds fast. It’s great for music, smart home controls, and daily routines. Overall, it’s a great device and definitely worth it if you want a smart assistant with a screen. I give all my props to Best Buy!

I picked up the Echo Show 11 to upgrade an older smart display in the kitchen, and it is a massive mixed bag. Best Buy’s staff matched the price, which was great, but living with the device reveals the same old software headaches Amazon refuses to fix. The Good: The 11-inch Full HD screen is a massive upgrade. It is bright, crisp, and large enough to read recipes or watch videos without straining. The speakers are surprisingly loud and rich, easily filling an open room with decent bass. Setting it up out of the box was fast and straightforward. The Issues: Constant Ads and Clutter: The home screen treats you like a billboard. It constantly pushes sponsored content, random widgets, and unsolicited recommendations instead of just staying clean. No Physical Privacy Shutter: Amazon removed the physical camera slider found on older models and replaced it with a digital switch. For a device sitting in a kitchen or personal space, losing that physical shutter is a step backward for privacy peace-of-mind. Stationary Stand: Unlike older rotating models, this display sits completely fixed unless you buy an expensive extra mount. Aggressive Upselling: The system frequently nudges you toward extra paid subscriptions and ecosystem add-ons. Random Issues like half screen, display blank persists. But resolves after a restart or unplug. Since last update, not facing such issue. But lets see. The Verdict: If you just want a loud speaker with a pretty screen for recipes and smart home controls, the hardware delivers. But until Amazon cleans up the messy software and stops spamming the home screen, it's hard to give it a higher score.

Hello priyank. Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review of the Echo Show 11. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the hardware — the 11-inch Full HD display and spatial audio are designed to deliver an immersive experience, and it's great that the setup process was smooth for you.
I appreciate you taking the time to outline both the positives and the areas where the experience falls short. I'd like to address your concerns and share some options that may help improve your day-to-day experience with the device.
Home Screen Customization: You can reduce the amount of content that appears on your home screen by adjusting your settings. Navigate to Settings > Home & Clock > Home Content, where you can disable categories like rotating recommendations, suggested content, and notifications. You can also set your home screen to primarily display your personal photos through Amazon Photos, a clock face, or your smart home controls — giving you a cleaner, less cluttered look. Additionally, enabling "Do Not Disturb" mode will suppress pop-up notifications and suggestions during specific hours.
Privacy Controls: While the Echo Show 11 uses a digital privacy switch rather than a physical slider, the microphone/camera off button on the device provides a hardware-level disconnect — when you press it, a red indicator light confirms that the microphone and camera circuits are electronically disconnected. This is not a software toggle that can be overridden; it functions as a hard cut to the microphone and camera at the hardware level, providing the same privacy assurance as a physical shutter.
Display Issues: I'm glad to hear the half-screen and blank display issues resolved after the latest software update. Echo Show devices receive automatic over-the-air updates that address bugs like these. To ensure you always have the latest version, you can check by going to Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates.
Stationary Display: You're correct that the Echo Show 11 does not include a built-in motorized base like the Echo Show 10. The Echo Show 11 was designed with a larger display and spatial audio as its primary upgrades. For those who prefer adjustable positioning, compatible third-party stands and mounts are available that offer tilt and swivel functionality.
Your feedback about the home screen experience and subscription prompts is valuable, and it's the kind of input that helps shape future software improvements. If you'd like personalized assistance with customizing your device settings to reduce unwanted content, Amazon Customer Service is available 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331. Thank you again for sharing your experience — I hope these tips help you get more enjoyment from your Echo Show 11.

Upgraded from 1st gen echo show 8. Disappointed operating system is no better than 1st gen. Still lags, still doesn’t listen when 5 feet away, misunderstands often. Hardware and screen quality is very nice

Hello, RossH. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Echo Show 11. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing performance issues with the device, including lag and voice recognition challenges. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially after upgrading from your 1st Gen Echo Show 8. Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help improve the device's responsiveness and voice recognition: 1. Check that your Echo Show 11 has a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection, as connectivity issues can cause lag and delayed responses. 2. Ensure you have the latest software version installed by going to Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates. 3. Try moving the device to a location with less background noise, as ambient sounds can interfere with voice recognition. 4. Restart your Echo Show 11 by unplugging it from power, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. 5. Consider retraining Alexa to recognize your voice by going to Settings > Your Profile & Family > Your Voice in the Alexa app. If these steps don't improve the performance and voice recognition issues, please contact Amazon Customer Support at 1-888-280-4331. They're available 24/7 and can provide additional technical assistance. Thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the hardware and screen quality of the Echo Show 11.

I was looking for an electronic helper for keeping track of all of my activities. I looked at the Skylight Calendar but I could not find the value for me with the price it sells at. I was looking at the Echo 5 which was about $89.00 when the salesman told me that Best Buy will price match certain items sold on Amazon, even sales and prime day items. That convinced me to look at a larger Echo. They sold the Echo 11 at the time for a little over $200.00 . They price matched it to $149 . Well what made the deal even sweeter is I had $75 in Best Buy points that I could also use. I was able to get this great system for less than $100.00 out of pocket. I find the Echo Show 11 a better value than the Skylight Calendar for several reasons: no subscription fee with the Amazon Echo Show 11. I can use it for more than just a calendar. It can set a timer for me when I am cooking and even give me a recipe. it also can play music or stream your favorite shows. It is very easy to use. The only downsides I see when I compare the Echo Show 11 to the Skylight Calendar is the screen size is smaller , the calendar is not displayed on the home screen , and the Echo Show 11 has to be placed on a counter or tabletop. Overall, I highly recommend Echo Show 11. I have used it more than I have thought.

Alexa AI is really good. The screen is nice and large. The integration into your amazon account is really cool. Overall, this was a really good buy. I moved away from the Google Home (smaller screen/older model) which I had for years. Tech has increased a lot since then but I'm happy I went to Alexa.

I thought that My 8” Show was great, but the 11” Show blows it away! Obviously the size upgrade is Awesome! But the Sound is Utterly Amazing, I walk into the room and it sounds like My $ 5,000 Hi-Fi system is on! And the picture quality is a Big upgrade as well!!! I bought it to work with My new Blink multi-camera System ( which I am also Extremely Pleased with)! I “think”, with a Wink, that I really “need” a couple more of these 11” Show boxes!!! Alexa is very pleased as well as I keep telling how Terrific She sounds!

Very responsive and very helpful when you got your hands occupied in the kitchen, garage wherever you may need it. It can hear you from quite a distance without having to raise your voice to be recognized. The option to change how it speaks to you such as silly, sassy & joyful is a nice touch. Gives it some personalization if you will. Also the other features such as connect it to your cameras for your home if you have them. Netflix and the other streaming services you have you can watch them on here. Haven't had an issue.
