I love this. Very reasonable it also has Alexa with it. I use mainly for music and when my eyes cant look at my phone anymore. I'm very pleased with the picture very good quality . I just had to shut Alexa off on it when at home being my Alexa prime fire tv box also answers.

I bought a new fire for my niece, and one for myself to replace my old iPad. I wish I had done it sooner! Its so much easier to use, lighter, and has great screen picture.

Great tablet at great price! I got three so far, one for me and the other two for gifts. I have had an original Fire, two HD 8.9s, a HD 7, two HDX 7s, a fifth generation HD 10, five HD 8s and three new HD 10s so far for me and gifts. The new HD 10 is of course the best of all. It has more space for apps and dada, more memory, better screen and faster cpu than the old version. And what makes it even better is it is a lot cheaper! After installing Google Play Store, I could install all apps that I use with no problem, and all the apps work great. It has good enough stereo speakers and decent battery life in my opinion. And it is light for its size. Even though I am not a native English speaker, Alexa understands very well and gives me accurate answers. You can ask or wake Alexa by only calling her name without touching any key. That is a big advantage over other models. I have Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 10.1 and LG Gpad X 8.0. New HD 10 is faster than those tablets. Only option that I miss from those tablets is screen mirroring function. But I can still cast screen using Google Chromecast stick. I think new HD 10 is a great media taking machine. I love to watch movies, to browse internet and to look at photos with this great tablet. It can also be an excellent digital photo frame with Amazon Photo app. I really appreciate Amazon for making this awesome tablet for such a great price, and I highly recommend it to anyone who are shopping for tablets.

If you're looking for a decent large screen tablet and don't want to spend iPad or Galaxy Tab money then this is a pretty good alternative to those. Decent build quality with a 1080 HD screen, AC dual band Wi-Fi, 32 or 64 gb of storage and a memory card slot. This is an absolute no brainer purchase if you're an Amazon Prime member with access to their almost endless supply of content. While the Fire HD 10 puts Amazon content front and center with their Amazon App Store it was very easy to add Google Play Store to the tab for access to all of Google's apps and services which really turns it into a great value proposition without spending a fortune. Tablet was pretty zippy, no lags or stutters using apps or games. Videos loaded and played quickly with no problems. Internet browsing was fast. All in all while the Fire HD 10 is certainly no Apple iPad Pro 10.5 or Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 but it costs hundreds of dollars less than those two. For a starting price of $149 for the 32gb model this is certainly a terrific value for a large screen tablet without breaking your budget.

I ordered gift wrap for my product! Wrinkled, crooked, half taped. Embarrassing!

If, you are looking for a "big" screened tablet with expandable memory and decent performance, then this is the tablet for you, especially if you are integrated into the amazon ecosystem. BTW Alexa is a joy to use.

I was hesitant because it is not a full android OS it is modified for Amazon, I thought of getting Galaxy tab A 10.1 but this was $70 cheaper. most of the same specs. The camera is low resolution but I did not buy it for the camera but turn on HRD in camera settings and the pics look better. . I was able side load the Google play store which makes it better a few apps did not load ( like my bank app ) . but it is now better with the play store. It is fast and has a bright display .Battery life is pretty good.

This is my third tablet, the first was a Xoom, this was a good tablet but slow. The 2nd was a Galaxy Tab A - a good tablet but grossly over priced, also it continually lost network connectivity, easy to resolve but a pain in the.... Now I have the Fire tablet and it is, so far, great. It's setup is a bit different from android, but easy, you just have to get used to it. The screen resolution is magnificent. Nice bright colors. The sound is great as well. I've watched a few movies on the Fire (via Prime and Netflix) and they streamed wonderfully. I use my tablet mainly to read books and surf the internet. I have a Kindle Unlimited subscription (well worth the price). The Fire downloads the books, either automatically or on demand, in no time. I like the Kindle app on the Fire tablet. I also have the Kindle app on my Windows laptop and my Pixel 2 phone. The app seems to work better on the Fire. I don't take many photos with the Fire, but the few I've taken came out great. The one thing I was worried about was "Special Offers" - advertisements. I hate advertisements, just hate them. Now that I've said that, the advertisements on the Fire are unobtrusive. They pop up when you first turn the screen on, you can either respond to the "Special Offer" or just enter your pin and the advertisement is gone. So far, I don't mind them at all. I'm not the type that downloads hundreds of apps to my tablet but the ones I've wanted have been there so far. I'm the type that likes to try new devices when I upgrade and neither of my previous tablets gave me any reason not to try a different brand. The Fire is different, the combination of the speed, ease of use, streaming ability, and (especially) the price will probably bring me back to a new Fire in 3 years when I upgrade.

Pros: Fast, super screen, easy to hold (light), Alexa is cool Cons: Minor stuff mostly due to the very intrusive Amazon ads. However, I do understand why they have to advertise to make up for the low tablet price.

Good looking screen, pretty fast. I'll ding it for not being able to install the google pay app (yes, I found instructions but they didn't work) but the google play store can be accessed via a browser so you still have access to everything. Would be worth it at full price, very good deal for 1/3 off.

Very nice tablet for the money. Sharp screen. Tablet feels sturdy and well constructed. Easy to set up and will restore from another owned fire tablet of recent vintage.

light weight, slim, easy to operate. Bought for my mom, with a stylist she can operate her kindle fire with ease. She is also losing her eye sight and the only thing is, I had to put nail polish on the cord for charging so it plugs in correctly. It would have been better if the plug didn't have to go in one way. I found a wireless charging system for the kindle fire and this will be more effective in this case.

While you are limited to the Amazon app store and prime services unless you manually install the Google lay store, the abilities of this tablet make it so much better a deal than an iPad that costs more than double the price.

Bought this baby during the Black Friday promotion for $99.00. Couldn't pass up a 10.1" name brand tablet for that price. Easy to get up an running. Just so everyone know, I am a Chromebook fan. DO NOT like Microsoft operating systems. This Amazon tablet is not as zippy as my Chromebook but it's still good. I don't think this thing can be beat when you consider your 'bang for the buck' for all the features, size and quality for $99.00.

I bought my Fire HD10 tablet for its size and convenience. It has not disappointed. It’s slim design and light weight makes it a perfect tablet to carry from room to room or to take traveling. And it’s affordability is a bonus! It’s easy to use and meets all my needs.
