Excelent. Easy to setup and really confortable to the hands. Crazy but is lighter than a real book
This review is from Amazon - Kindle - 6" - 8GB - with a built-in front light - 2019 - White
I love this Kindle! Super lightweight and portable, battery life is about a 8.5/10 because when you use even one “bar” of light the battery starts draining quick. Reading a couple hours a day with a full charge lasts me about 5 days before needing a recharge which is pretty good. The screen is matte so oily hands will leave smudges and on the bezels as well. I put a case on mine to protect from damage as I feel like the screen can get scratched/damaged easily in my purse. Overall this changed my life going from physical books to digital, definitely worth the money!

I bought this for my husband who loves to read. A little glitchy on occasion but a perfect portable option rather than having a ton books stacked everywhere.

This is my second Kindle since the first one broke but as I had a guarantee, everything was fine. It was even cheaper and for 20 more dlls I was able to buy another to give it away. I am very satisfied.

I bought this kindle because I wanted to be able to read books without distractions. I absolutely love my kindle! It’s so easy to use and so portable. Very very long battery life and I don’t even have to use my phone battery. I like how I can also download books to read offline. Additionally, I really really like the backlight!!! I would definitely recommend!!!!

I purchased this Kindle for my 90 year old mother, who found it confusing to use. SO - I adopted it as my own! The paperwhite screen is easy to read, and the 'paperback novel' size of this Kindle makes it very portable! Unlike my tablet, it fits in a pocket. Unlike my phone, there is no glare while reading (and no pesky 'notifications' to interrupt me) Even though I didn't know I wanted one, this little Kindle has brought me wildfires of reading delight!

The Amazon Kindle is a great device that uses older tech but offers great battery life for a lightweight device that is easy to carry around and read from in both low light indoors or full sun outdoors.

My wife had used a Kindle Paperwhite reader for several years and encouraged me to get my own. However, I didn't want to spend the extra money so I considered going with the less expensive Kindle instead. When it went on sale prior to the holidays, I jumped at the chance to pick it up. This Kindle has worked flawlessly since and is a constant companion for me. I especially like the clear screen and very long battery life. I can keep it with me on short and long trips. I used to read e-books on my tablet computer but the Kindle has replaced the computer. The 8GB of storage has ample space for a lot of books; way more than I keep loaded at a time. Highly recommended!

Smaller than I expected but that’s on me. I had never seen this Kindle in person and didn’t realize how small 6” was. My mistake aside, I got this kindle on sale and this was a great deal! I just enlarged the font a bit so it works for me. The size of this Kindle is also great because it fits perfectly in my small purse so I can take it with me everywhere. The backlight makes it easy to read anywhere. I have found it easy to download books either directly from Amazon or from the library for free. I highly recommend.

I recently purchased the kindle for my Mom for her birthday and while the kindle is a cool product it may be a little old. The processor is a little slow. However the screen is great for reading material in just about any light condition. It’s easy to download material to read.

Bought this for my wife because she has started reading for hours a day in the evening and doesn’t want to purchase physical book; she wants to download them. She was hesitant at first but she said the size is perfect and much less strain on her eyes than her iPhone 11 Pro Max. It’s been a week and the initial charge she put on it is still going strong. The screen literally looks like the page of a book and being able to change the size of the words has been mentioned as very useful as well.

Very easy to use and very light. My eyes don’t bother me after reading and the charge lasts long.

I've been reading library ebooks on my phone, and decided to upgrade to a Kindle. I got this on sale, I think it was around Prime day, with an additional discount from a Best Buy coupon I got in email. I like that it has a light, but wish it auto-adjusted to ambient light levels. Also, when I come across something in a book that I want to know more about, searching for information is better on the phone app than the Kindle device. For example when the name of a character comes up and I can't remember who is who, sometimes that information is built into the ebook, but sometimes you need a web search, which is easier on a smart phone. However, the kindle is better for reading at night because it's less disruptive to sleep. Also it is lightweight and the battery lasts much longer than a phone, with less opportunity for distraction. Instead of a regular case I got a popsocket which has made holding the kindle in bed pretty convenient. Someday post-coronavirus I imagine I'll want to bring it to work with me to read on breaks, in which case I think I'll look for a protective sleeve for stuffing it in my bag.

Let me be clear, it's not nearly the graphics quality of my kindle fire, but it is only a reader. For this, it's great. The battery does last at least 10-14 days before I feel the need to charge it again. I haven't let it run down completely, so it may last longer. It's small and lightweight, fits easily in my purse and is easy to hold and adjust the lighting and word size.
