Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’m very happy with my Kindle Scribe! The large, crisp screen makes reading comfortable, and writing with the stylus feels smooth and natural - just like writing on real paper. It’s perfect for taking notes, journaling, and annotating books. The battery lasts for weeks, and the device itself is lightweight and stylish. However, there are a few downsides: not all books support handwritten notes, and the handwriting-to-text feature doesn’t recognize all languages yet. I hope Amazon improves this in future updates. Overall, it’s an excellent device for both reading and writing - inspiring and truly enjoyable to use!

Over all this kindle scribe was so helpful in taking notes. The button in the pen allows easy acess making highlights on some important words. The other good thing about this kindle scribe is dual functions, not just it allows notes it also allows you to read books as well. You can simultanesously switch from reading books to making notes. You can allow to purchase good reading matrials from amazon.

I bought this for my fiancé said it was the one thing she wanted for Christmas. Come to find out this is her favorite thing ever and she never puts it down.

Reading double column with books and manga is very nice. And it’s great for writing and sketching!

It is a nice product to read my books with. I like it better than my ipad.

Great customer service with quick & convenient service! The kindle scribe was a great buy!

i really like this device! my only complaint is you cant write directly on book. hopefully there will be an update soon to fix this.

This product is perfect. I couldn’t ask for such a well made, well rounded product.

Do yourself a favor and buy this! Perfect for reading, writing, note-taking and study. If I would’ve had this in college I would’ve had the best notes and probably mastered content way easier and faster. I love that I can download virtually any book I want, even most textbooks from what I can can see which is perfect for a student and often cheaper than buying paperback. I love the AI functionality also. It transcribes my handwritten notes with superb accuracy. It could have more fonts to choose from and a bit more added functionality geared towards the note-taking features like adding shapes and symbols into the notes. If you like drawing from time to time on an edevice this would probably work for you also as you can do shading effects. The versatility of this is amazing for such a great price point. You can even make to-do lists, calendars, you name it. You can also purchase template books and calenders from the book store if you don’t love the templates that are pre-loaded. This product is really a home run. I’ve never been happier and more excited about any other kind of tablet, kindle, iPad or note taking device I’ve owned. I found out I can copy and paste notes I’ve made in books into my notebooks which is SO useful. The notebooks come with several templates to choose from making it very versatile. Battery life is great. Even with frequent use it lasts for several days at least without worrying about charging it up. The penciled screensaver art is a nice touch and you don’t deal with ad bombarding from the other devices. I wish you could save it to only show the screensaver you want as some are a bit childish. All around favorite device I’ve owned. I’m reading and writing way more often since owning this kindle scribe. The size is perfect for reading and writing. Fits comfortably in my lap without strain, and the pen is awesome. You can change the settings for the button on the pen to a functionality you use often. Buy the case to protect it and it’s easier to prop up and hold on in your lap.

- Beautiful display - The stlyus feedback is so good. You get so many types of options of styles to choose from - marker, pen, fountain pen. The delay is non existent and the e-paper feel is too nice. Love writing on it. - Battery life is phenomenal. It has been months since I bought it and I have only charged it like twice.

I've been using the Kindle Scribe (32GB) for a few weeks now, and it has truly transformed my reading and note-taking experience. Design & Display: The 10.2-inch E Ink display is crisp and clear, making reading a pleasure. The adjustable front light ensures comfortable reading in various lighting conditions. Note-Taking: The included Premium Pen is responsive and feels natural to write with. I use it daily for journaling and work planning, and the AI handwriting recognition is impressively accurate. WIRED Best Buy Battery Life: Even with regular use, the battery lasts for weeks, which is a significant improvement over traditional tablets. Storage: The 32GB storage capacity is more than sufficient for my extensive library of books and documents. Considerations: While the device is slightly larger and heavier than previous Kindles, it's still portable. Also, the Premium Pen attaches magnetically, but the magnet could be stronger to prevent accidental detachment. Tom's Guide Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a versatile device that combines the joys of reading with efficient note-taking, the Kindle Scribe (32GB) is an excellent choice.

The Kindle Scribe is Amazon’s largest and most ambitious Kindle yet—designed not only for reading but also for writing and note-taking. It blends the beloved Kindle reading experience with a stylus, letting you jot down ideas, annotate PDFs, and keep digital notebooks—all on a sharp 10.2” e-ink screen. Incredible Reading Experience. Stylus Feels Natural. Great for Simple Notes. Battery That Lasts, not just a few hours, but for days. Well-Built Sleek aluminum body, thin profile, lightweight for its size, for on-the-go! Feels premium—like a modern tablet but without distractions. Minimalist at it's best!!!

This to me is the sweet spot for kindles, you don’t need the latest (color) or more storage. This has the cool Scribe feature but let’s be honest you won’t use it. I bought it for the size of the screen period, that’s it. Very kindle is so small and almost too light. This has some substance to it and super long battery life. Here is why I gave it 4 stars - software buggy - crashes a lot during download of books. Navigation is cumbersome and sometimes you just have to reboot to get back to the Home Screen, Again if you are going to buy a kindle this is the one to get and it will last you a lifetime,

The Kindle Scribe combines the joy of reading with the convenience of note-taking. Its large, crisp display is easy on the eyes, and the included pen feels natural for writing or annotating books. Battery life is impressive, and the sleek design makes it portable. A perfect tool for readers and learners.

I highly recommend the Kindle Scribe. I loved my earlier Kindle, however, the screen was just too small for what I needed (old eyes). The Scribe is much bigger, easy to hold, and easier to read. I love all the features, especially the ability to write and take notes with the stylus. Very versatile and intuitive device, highly recommend.

I really enjoy this Kindle, it's the perfect size for reading, and writing. It helps me keep up with all of my notes for projects and needs for my job, and is sleek and easy to pack. This Kindle is my daily companion and I can't imagine going back to life without it.

Purchased this for my fiancé. She already had the kindle matcha and I figured she’d want something bigger that she could annotate on. She is in love with this Kindle Scribe. Perfect for at home reading and when on the road switch to her matcha.

I absolutely love the Kindle Scribe. It has completely changed how I read and take notes. The ability to write directly on documents, annotate PDFs, and capture handwritten notes in one place is incredibly convenient and intuitive. I use it not just for reading, but for organizing ideas, reviewing documents, and taking notes that actually stay connected to what I’m working on. The writing experience feels smooth and natural, and having everything stored digitally keeps me far more organized than paper notebooks ever did. On top of that, it’s still a Kindle at its core, which means access to thousands of books in one lightweight device. Switching seamlessly between reading and note-taking makes it an ideal tool for both work and personal use. If you read a lot and take notes regularly, the Kindle Scribe is an outstanding investment.

The product is really easy to use and the size is perfect

The device itself is pretty neat. Wife and I got one each and kids paperwhite and kids color, for the kids. The scribes are pretty fun and the kids were envious of the stylus feature, but they’re not going to use that feature so they don’t need the Scribe. Wife and I will use for work. Already used the book feature which is good. The general navigation interface is not amazing tbh, but I’m sure we’ll get used to it. The biggest issue is Amazon. My scribe crashed during registration and I lost my 3 months ‘free’ trial of Kindle Unlimited offer. I spent 45-60 minutes online with 3 agents (including manager) to arrive at some poor compromise where I assured a refund later. Suffice to say I am skeptical of this and feel Amazon should do better. The claims made by the agents were ridiculous (e.g. that I should have taken screenshots to prove I have entitlement to the offer, the I should contact Best Buy to reset my Unlimited offer - just think about that for one second). Overall, confirms that Amazon is a terrible company for customer satisfaction and I was close to just sending it all back. In fact I do still resent the company for how this was handled and don’t really want to pay for any other service from them, but you know I will… begrudgingly anyway. Why? Because the scribe is a much better price point than remarkable, and the book feature is convenient.
