I sooo wanted to love this but can’t just yet. As an s-reader it’s beautiful and the best. It is in the digital notebook that it falls behind. There is no OCR yet (heard that is coming). The level of notebook organization is lacking compared to the competition. The pen tools is lacking. You can have only one type of page in each notebook…..no mixing it up. Taking notes in an ebook is great…..you can export your notes and highlights by email (but again no OCR). Don’t get me wrong it is the best mix of e reader and digital notebook you can get, but if you have a ReMarkable you will be disappointed to a point. Do I think it will be upgraded via updates….I hope. If you are on the fence watch review videos to see if it’s for you. It’s growing on me and I’m hoping it will soon replace my ReMarkable.

I love Kindle to begin with! Easy on eyes, can read outdoors in brightness without glare, carry around a ton of books in your purse or backpack. The writable is a next step, I purchased for my son specifically to hand down all my recipes so he has them at easy reach but also in my own handwriting. Plus I have a bunch of downloaded cookbooks he will have access to.

this is a great writing tablet. The writing feature works great. The only reason for 4 stars is because it doesn't convert hand writing to text like similar products. this comes in handy when sending notes to others in meetings (When I'm in a hurry, penmanship isn't my focus.

I love this device. Very easy to use and very light.

Purchasing through Best Buy was a mistake - it’s much cheaper direct from Jeff - but I absolutely love the Scribe and take it with me everywhere.
I've been using it for two weeks now and I really like it. I often use books in pdf format, it’s more convenient to take notes or highlight with a pen.

Absolutely love it! Better alternative to having to carry a notebook or post it notes. Big plus that I can read books as well. It’s a one stop shop sort to speak.

The Kindle Scribe is everything a Kindle should be. In my opinion, for once, Amazon hit a home run with this one. It's pricey but worth it. Go for the one with the Premium Pen, get a cover case for it and you will want to carry it with you everywhere you go. The text is clear and crisp. Great for people with aging eyes who still want to enjoy a good reading experience.

Overall I think it's great. I like how easy it is to use. How big the screen is. Being able to write on it is awesome. I use it for a lot of notes. The one thing that I would change is to have the ability to do things in the store when I'm not on wifi.

Great device. It runs extremely well and the battery life is amazing. Amazon is adding some nice updates to the Scribe and if they continue, this will be the large form factor e-reader to beat. I'd consider it more of a 4.5 as of now with potential to be a 5 star product. Screen looks outstanding and reading manga is superb. Of course it does books well too but it's a kindle, so that's a given. The only thing I wish they would add is layers for the notebook so it could be a slightly better sketching tablet. Hopefully they add that in the future.

I recently purchased the Kindle Scribe, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. This e-reader has become my go-to device for all things books, offering a fantastic reading experience while also contributing to sustainability. Pros: Exceptional Reading Experience: The Kindle Scribe's high-resolution display ensures crisp text and a glare-free reading experience, not straning my eyes. Lightweight and Portable: The slim and lightweight design of the Kindle Scribe makes it incredibly portable. I am carrying it everywhere i go. Paper-Like Feel: It is a paper-like feel, feels like i am naturally writing on the book.

I wanted to get an e-reader for years to give my eyes a break from staring high blue screens - which was really the only reason I didn't like e-books. I also wanted a larger than common size and the ability to write using a stylus. After some research, I finallly decided to go with this Kindle Scribe meets those criteria, and I'm enjoying it. What would make it even better: software to convert handwrting to text and more ease in exporting handwritten notebooks. But overall, I'm really happy with it. I was able to get a feel for one at Best Buy, which had one on display. That helped me to make my decision.

Love the larger screen and the writing feature. The battery lasts long and it's the size of an iPad. The adjustable backlight makes reading in any light condition easy. The premium pen is a must!

The only recommendation I have is to allow pdfs to be scribbled on instead of just sticky notes. Otherwise this is the best thing I have ever purchased for work and personal use!! Functional, great battery life and good balance between scribbling and reading. Highly Recommend!

Hello, Sydw. I'm sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Kindle Scribe. One way to send PDF documents to your Kindle Scribe is through https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle. When PDF documents are sent via sendtokindle they become available on the device and can be written on. I wanted a larger, longer lasting Kindle and that is exactly what this is. Haven't used the Pen features since I currently have no need for it. It's much more responsive than my older Oasis but I still use that too when I need extra portability.

This is the best kindle I have ever owned. The screen is so crisp and the larger screen is so amazing for reading manga. It feels like you're reading an actual book and not an e-ink tablet. It's very lightweight so I can spend a lot of time reading on it and my eyes don't get tired.

My new favorite kindle!! I love the bigger screen and the fact I can note take within books! Have loved kindle for years, and can say with ease, this is a great edition to my kindle family! Oh and the battery…chefs kiss!!

The pen, notes (handwritten or typed) and notebook capabilities of this Kindle make it a must-have for researchers like me. As with other Kindles, one can send PDF files to this device but unlike the other versions, this Kindle allows hand-written notes! The screen is very large and easy to read without causing eye strain. The pen device itself takes a little getting used to, but allows for quicker highlighting. If you need to erase anything you've added, simply use the eraser side of the stylus! I'm still learning more about it's functionality, but it is by far the most useful Kindle I've ever had.

I love my new Kindle Scribe which i upgraded from an Oasis. I love the size of the screen, the ability to write notes, and the ease of use. Worth the investment.

My girlfriend loves her new paperback. Seems a little sluggish sometimes but the note function evens it out
