I upgraded to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D for my new gaming PC, and it has been one of the best upgrades I’ve made. Installation was quick, and it worked perfectly with my AM5 motherboard after updating the BIOS. Gaming performance has been outstanding. Frame rates are consistently high, gameplay feels incredibly smooth, and the processor handles demanding games without breaking a sweat. It also stays responsive while multitasking, whether I’m gaming, browsing, or running other applications in the background. I was also impressed with how power-efficient it is for the level of performance it delivers. Paired with a good air cooler, temperatures have remained well under control during long gaming sessions. The only thing to keep in mind is that this processor doesn’t include a stock cooler, so you’ll need to purchase one separately. Aside from that, I have no complaints. Overall, this CPU has exceeded my expectations. If your main focus is gaming and you want top-tier performance on the AM5 platform, I highly recommend the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

The speed is brutal, I changed my old R5 9600X for this CPU and the performance is in another level. I running this CPU with a 5070ti, and 32 RAM DDR5 CL30 memory. My PC handles all games so well, and this CPU helped me to reduce the slutter in games like Fortnite, no man's sky, star citizen which demands a lot of processing this CPU handles it with no issues

Amazing processor, beyond impressed! I had a 7800x3d so the gains arent as massive coming from a different processor but where this excels in an upgrade is the temps, 1% lows, single core performance and overall productivoty upgrades. I went from 67c gaming to 54c. Hogwarts legacy i would have 1% low dips below 60fps at 3440x1440p with an RTX 4090. This would cause stuttering, especially in the castle. This has aleviated that and dips arent below 80 now. This processor has been exactly what all the reviewers are praising. If you have the cash this should be your next cpu if your a gamer and want the best of the best!

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Excellent Gaming CPU With Huge Performance. This processor has been a major upgrade for my gaming PC. Games feel very smooth, load times are quick, and overall system performance is fast and responsive. The 3D V-Cache makes a noticeable difference in gaming, especially in demanding titles. Installation was straightforward on an AM5 motherboard, and performance has been excellent so far. Highly recommend for anyone building or upgrading a gaming-focused desktop.

Its an excellent cpu, fantastic speeds, if youre gaming i couldnt reccomend anything better. Im using this with an nvidia msi 5080 and i can play anything at extremely high refresh rates. And for cpu heavy games this is unbeatable. I purchase it while it was on sale, but i would have even at regular price.
