This thing is a beast.. It gobbles up anything I throw at it and is primed and ready for more. Runs quite a bit hotter than i'm used 2 but that's fne I will b getting an AIO for it because yeah I don't wanna have to deal with thermal issues down the line and this little puppy is waaaay hot.. It actually heats up my room which in the winter will be a bonus. I won't be upgrading my CPU anytime soon but I may just be upgrading my ram because this thing needs it.

Wooooah......thats FAST! What a killer cpu, definitely overkill for anything I would be doing but my customer is gonna love his PC with this processor. I gotta say it runs pretty hot so be sure to have adequate cooling and definitely play around with PBO/Curve Optimizer as it can make a huge difference.

No more bottle necks! This thing is a beast. It pairs well with the 3060 12gb. I use my pc for gaming and multi-streaming to Twitch and YouTube and i have no issues streaming anything. I will have to get a new case so i can out a 360mm AIO in it. It runs at about 50-70° under load with a 240mm AIO.

Love this cpu, it's ridiculous, frivolous, overkill... but so is everything else in my case. runs hot af though, easily hits 80c under synthetic load even with a good aio so I would very much recommend water cooling

This processor is a complete workhorse for demanding applications like running all of the Adobe creative cloud apps simultaneously, it’s rendering performance is fantastic and compared to the 5800x even the previous generation 3950x it just demolishes everything. If you have the budget, buy this. (From a content creators point of view/workstation- I have no “gaming” experience or feedback)

I got it on sale last month for a crazy deal. Same rig and same GPU went from 2k FPS103-121 avg. Now FPS191-216 avg. Just from the CPU, lol; I'm happy I no longer have to close programs while gaming. I can now actually use multiple programs while live streaming—no more stutters, crashes, or lags.

Out of the box this cpu has been great for me. Teamed up with some good ddr4 ram and a running it in performance mode. It does everything I've asked it to. The only downside. Is making sure you have a good cooling system. If not and you try to run it overclocked it will toss out some heat.

Upgraded from a 3900xt, huge difference. I use this in my MSFS 2020 rig, and night and day difference. The video card is 6900xt, and 64 GB system Ram. No lags or stutters in my FPS games either. I don't OC, so no problem with a 360 AIO. Very happy with the performance.

I was looking for an upgrade for my gaming pc and definitely found one. Previous processor was a Ryzen 7 2700x and this was a huge step up. Ended up using the NZXT Kraken 280 for the cooler and have no problems running anything I want.

What a processor! 16 cores, 32 threads and 72 megabyte cache. This processor is a beast. I know they have the new 7000 series out now. Regardless of whatever newer technology comes out, this processor is just fast and that will never change.

What can i say other than this cpu being a beast. Not the best gaming 5000 series cpu but it keeps up with the 5800x3d while also being a workstation beast

Installed this with a 360 radiator aio from corsair in a 5000D corsair case with Tm70 thermal past. Out of the box it over heats and shuts down after starting a game because the auto core voltage is too aggressive. Go into bios and set core voltage to 1.35 and that will fix anyones issue. If you want to push the cpu to a little more just rais it by .05 volts at a time till you have a stable sustem. Personaly i like a cooler cpu than normal so i set mine to 1.25 for safe measure and runs all my games fine paired with a 3080ti at 4k. Max setting with ray yracing off in cuberpunk can get to 60fps and an average of 37 with ray tracing enabled set to psycho and DLSS to quality (path tracing dissabled not playable but if you run 1440p then you can max everything with it enabled at 35 average fps with the low being 29.5 fps and highs in the 50’s on their benchmark )

If youre looking for more FPS on games this will do that. Its isnt the best for frames, but is this thing amazing at multitaking! I stream so i have OBS up with chrome tabs open with each stream url on. Doesnt slow my computer down and keeps most the frames. I lose around 15% max but thats nothing compared to 40-50 with a 5800x. It is a monster at rendering and multitasking such a upgrade for content creators.

CPU is a monster. You need to have a gpu and I recommend liquid cooling. I used a 280 artic freeze II aio which keeps it cool at all times. At 749 it was on sale. Have 2 GPUs and it works smoothly. Now with Intel Alderlake it seems overpriced. I believe the sweet spot is the Ryzen 7 5700x for gaming but this will handle ANYTHING you throw at it.
