Stays on the windshield pretty well. there have been a couple of really hot days that it came off but I expected more so I’m happy. The screen is a nice size. The app works well. I put a 256gn card in it today to hold more videos because my husband likes that it will randomly record while parked in our driveway(I set the parking sensitivity to high). Even tho it’s for the front I might buy another for a rear camera.

So far so good in my 2021 Honda Insight, very easy to install and works really good through WiFi with my phone for videos. Tap into my Honda sense camera for power with a very clean look. Only bought it on sale to replace my VaVa.

Transferring the videos to the smart phone is flawless. This was a great investment for a great product. I really highly recommend it.

Now that I've owned this for a month and driven with it every day I am very pleased with this ROAV C2. The picture quality is fabulous for something in this price range and it works very well at night. I also really appreciate the ease of viewing all camera video on my iPad via wireless connection. I also like this particular dash cam because it came with a suction mount, enabling me to reposition it on the windshield or take to use in another vehicle (like a rental car) with another USB cable. The suction cup holds quite well provided the windshield glass isn't textured (such as near the top of some windshields as a quasi-visor.) The initial setup was a bit confusing at first (the usual tersely-written manual) but I quickly figured out what to do. It remains to be seen how well this dash cam holds up in summer heat when the car is parked outside all day. I usually do not purchase extended warranties but I did for the ROAV C2. Bottom line: count me in...I'm very satisfied.

This camera is easy to install in a car (if your interior trim allows). I was a little worried using a suction cup because I never have trusted them to not fail, but so far - after a month - the camera is still stuck in place. Recordings in daylight are clear and the app is pretty easy to use. I think I have to spend double for a dash cam that is decent at night, though this does pick up surrounding traffic. Don't count on the video picking up license plates at night. What I bought was an inexpensive dash cam so my expectations are met. The only real downside is the design. This is the 'digital camera' form factor and not the smaller 'wedge' style so it's a little obtrusive but it is still a lot smaller than a GPS unit, for instance.

I’ll start with the bad to get it over with, the WIFI connection to get video off the camera and change settings sucks. When I can get it to work the transfer speed is 2mb/s or less, if you have one video you want to transfer or 2 not so bad, if you want to transfer all of the videos from your memory card this is painfully slow and if you upgrade the memory card you could be looking at hours to transfer the videos, especially since it is prone to disconnecting also. do yourself a favor and either swap out memory card or plug the camera in via USB. Now to good part. the video quality is good, it does get muddy looking at night or once the sun starts going down but that is tough for a lot of cameras due to light condition constantly changing. I am still playing with the sensors for the collision detection either while driving or parked. I have it set to maximum detection right now and closing doors on my car will sometimes set it off and bumpy roads in areas I drive, or railroad crossings will set off the collision detection. Reviewing videos on my phone with the app is neat feature but difficult to use because of the poor quality of the Wi-Fi connection. The GPS feature is nice and could come in handy in the event I need a record of how fast I was going at a certain time as this information is stamped right onto the video (I had to turn on this feature it was not on out of the box.) Overall, I would definitely recommend this camera to People looking for a simple dashcam for their vehicle.

I purchased this dashcam because of the features...primarily wi-fi access, gps, and video quality. Wi-fi is convenient for reviewing video clips (it cannot record while viewing wi-if). I upgraded to a 128gb memory card and it works fine. I also like the suction cup mount for flexibility or switching to a different vehicle. The only problem I’ve had with that is it has fallen twice now (suction cup released) after being parked in the sun for extended periods of time...but the camera still functions well.

After using the dashcam for about a week I would definitely recommend this Roav dashcam. The positive side of the dash cam. Records very well in the daylight or cloudy day. Night time recording isn't bad either. I really wanted to see how well the dashcam can see the license plate when a car was flying by me. I will say, I'm very pleased when I went frame by frame on the video I was able to see the letters and numbers of the license plate on a cloudy day. Also transferring video's from the dashcam to the phone was easy. And yes you can upload video to Facebook and Google + . The only thing I don't like about the dashcam it does not have zoom capabilities. The reason why i gave 4 stars

Pop in the memory card and take a few minutes to do the easy quick setup and enjoy a personal witness. The kit comes with everything you need to install and hide the wires. Video quality is very good, I was able to see and capture plate number on a truck that I needed. The interface software and wireless connection is easy to setup and use, I was actually shocked.

Fairly easy to setup. Well made. The pictures are clear and great to see the date, time and navigation information. The addition of the tool to tuck in the cable and the SD card so you could really plug and play was great. So the suction cup has held firm. I’m totally satisfied with the unit.

Only had it for a few days now, but seems to work very well. Takes good quality video. Parking and collision recoding still seems pretty sensitive even on the lowest setting. Coming with the memory card is definitely a bonus at this price point.

I’m a commercial driver and need to make sure the truth is known when I face an incident. This unit does not wash out as bad as the old unit I had and better night lens does away with need for Infra red lights that usually only create a goofy ghosting from windshield. Also easy to connect WiFi on unit to my android no more pulling the micro sd card looking for adapter and downloading it! Plus gps is right in file

Easy to use and forget it is in place keeping you safe in case of an accident. Records great daytime and fair for nighttime. Suction cup attachment is easy and holds great (so far 3 months - dead of summer Texas). Video files are clear and contain speed, direction and the video itself. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

Bad news: Instructions not complete, IMHO. Am still unsure how to sync the C2 Pro with our home network & cellphones to remotely view records. This is the only we reason didn't rate it 5 stars. Good news: The unit was more than advertised, complete with a memory card for recording/playback. It installs simply and worked perfectly when powered up. The menu's not real user friendly, but even this senior citizen was able to make sense of it.

Actually got into an accident about 3 weeks after I bought this. Came in really handy, video was clear and the built in speedometer on the video overlay helped a lot. Someone rear-ended me and claimed I "stopped" in the middle of the road for no reason. Got video footage of the whole thing. Feels so good to shut them up. 10/10 would recommend. Video is good. App is good. Build quality is good. Comes with an SD card and a tool to hide the wire. No complaints here.

Great video quality, easy to setup and pair with phone. The Mount tends to fall and could be better.

I got this for safety purposes... and so far it has served me well. The quality of video in the day time looks great, although haven’t looked back at my night videos. I am giving it 4 stars because the suction cup sometimes detaches and the whole device falls off, given I also have the cable hanging since I haven’t had time to insert it into the car wedges inside. Otherwise, it was easy to install and the app works great while in range.

Works great. takes sharp clear video. Works like a good dashcam should without thinking about it. GPS function works well too. Night time images are clear and viewable. Happy customer here.

Setting the date and time is easy, installing it easy too! Just wished there were options to purchase a "battery pack" that charges as you drive and then powers the camera while parked. I used one from home but having that option/suggestion available from the manufacturer would be terrific! Great camera, crystal clear video, easy to download using a microSD adapter.
