I work with Road safe Traffic Systems and I use this device to charge all my equipment and also my phone and it keeps it charged throughout the day I could just hold it on my side and charge up my phone and my radios and whatever else I need charged and I can play music and the greatest part is I don't have to recharge the portable charger that often this portable last me weeks before I have to charge it I love it

I have a number of power banks that I use for camping and overlanding trips, but I haven’t been all that happy with them because they just don’t have the charging capacity I need for my phone, laptop, cameras, drones, and other devices I use when going on extended camping and overlanding trips. I’ve been looking for a better, higher-capacity power bank and came across the Anker Solix C300X DC portable power station which I have been using and testing for several days. Thus far is has proven to be very portable and provides a tremendous amount of capacity for recharging my devices, exactly what I was looking for. This particular power station kit comes with solar panels and cables for charging along with a car charging plug. As I spend a lot of time off the grid the solar panels are a tremendous upgrade effectively producing unlimited power. Upon first use the instructions say you need to “recharge it to activate the power station” and explains several ways to charge it, one of which is to use “your own cell phone charger to activate”. So no, a wall charger is not included in the box, just something to be aware of. That’s not a big deal to me, I have tons of them as I’m sure most people do, so for initial charging and activation I used a 65w wall charge that I have along with the 140w charging cable which is included in the box. The power bank came with a 30% charge and it took just slightly over 4 hours to fully charge. As I read through the instruction manual it states that the two 140W USB-C Input/Output Ports can be used to recharge simultaneously, so next time I’ll try plugging in a second charger which should cut the charging time in half. Another thing to be aware of is this is the C300X DC power station, so it provides DC output only. It is great for charging devices that have USB and USB-C outlets. But there is no AC output/plug, therefore, you cannot run things like small appliances. If you are looking for a power bank that has AC outlets be aware of this and choose the other power station. Over the past 4 days I have been charging my various devices numerous times and the Solix power station is still at 92% of charging capacity. To me that is remarkable. I also took it out ice fishing one day just to test it in cold temperatures. This was in the Colorado Rockies at about 10,000 feet above sea level. It was 10 degrees that day with 15 mile per hour winds (so about a minus 12 degree wind chill) and the power station worked perfectly. A month later I took it to the Utah desert camping . I only camped for 3 days so my testing was limited to that timeframe. But between the capacity of the power station and the solar panels to recharge it, I had fully charged devices (cameras, phone, laptop, drone) the entire time, it was fantastic! The power station also has a pop-up light which will came in very handy during my camping trip. It has three different levels of brightness, the highest of which is extremely bright (the attached picture shows the lowest brightness level). I’ve seen some advertisements of this product on the interweb with people taking the Solix with them on hikes with the long strap attached to the unit and draping it over their shoulder. To me, that is a bit of a reach. I do a lot of backpacking/hiking and I just don’t see taking this power station on something like that due to its weight. While its only a little over 6 pounds I think there are better/smaller power bank options for hiking or backpacking. But that’s not why I got it. For multi-day overlanding/camping trips I think it is absolutely perfect. It would have been nice if Anker included a carrying bag for all the components of this kit, i.e., three different cords, the solar panels and the power bank itself just to keep everything together. But they didn’t so I’ll have to come up with something. Right now I’m just using the box it came in. But that’s a small gripe. Overall I think the size and power is excellent for my purposes. Highly recommended.

The Anker Solix C300X DC Generator KIt is a well designed portable powerhouse with 90,000 mAh and 300 watts. It is approximately 8"H x 5" w x 5" d and weighs 6lbs 4oz. In the box you get the power bank, a portable and foldable solar panel with cables, a usb-c 140 watt cable, and a short strap to carry by hand and a longer strap. Both straps are heavy duty.. My unit came with a 50% charge, so the first thing I did was fully charge it using the 140 watt charging cable with a 120 watt wall adapter. The adapter is not included in the box. There are 3 ways to charge. You can use either 1 or 2 of the 140 watt usb-c ports, you can use the car adapter port, or you can use the solar panels. Though I used only 1 of the 140 watt usb-c ports to charge, the time to charge was relatively quick. There are a total of 7 charging outlets. 2 usb-a (12 watts), 4 usb-c (1 15w, 1 100w, 2 140w), and a car socket. You can charge multiple devices simultaneously such as phones, laptops, tablets, even a mini fridge. When you turn the power on the display shows the power remaining. When you are charging a device the display will also show which port is being used, the wattage output to that device and the time remaining to a full charge. The display is bright and well designed however some of that information is rather small and could be hard to read. There is a light located at the top. You can adjust the brightness to 3 levels. Also the light can be physically raised or lowered or tilted side to side so that you can direct the appropriate amount of light to a specific area. This is very clever and very useful. It can be used to light a tent if camping or can light a room during a blackout. I have charged 2 phones and a laptop and it handled it with ease. The 300X DC is well vented and stays cool during recharging and while charging devices. It is also very important to note that the 300X DC has excellent power retention when not in use. After charging some devices the unit showed 78% power remaining. I left it powered off for 3 weeks and when I turned it back on it still showed 78% power remaining. I have taken this on daily trips where power was not available, however one of the main reasons I have this is because I live in South Florida where hurricane season lasts for 6 months and power outages are not uncommon and can last days or weeks if you are unfortunate enough to be affected. This gives me peace of mind that I will have power available to stay in contact in such an event, and that I will continue to be able to recharge using the solar panels. The solar panels are flexible and fold up to the size of a book. I am very happy with the Anker Solix 300X DC. It is very well designed, very intuitive to use and has a quality look and feel. Anker gives a 3 year warranty on the main unit and 2 year warranty on the solar panels.I highly recommend this product.
