This may work fine as designed but it does NOT work as described. I purchased this to connect to my phone via Bluetooth so I could plug the output into my car stereo. Trying to pair it with my iPhone 10 was futile. According to the included directions this device only works to connect to Bluetooth speakers or headphones. It is designed to take the analog signal from your phone, or other audio device and it will transmit it to your Bluetooth speaker, headphone, earbuds. It is a TRANSMITTER ONLY. To connect to a phone it must be a receiver as well. This will be going back for a refund.

This item is designed as a Bluetooth transmitter, therefore, this needs to be plugged into an AUX output of a device so that your headphones or speakers (with BT capability) can pair with your device without Bluetooth function.

Worked great, didn't even need to read the instructions twice. Very user friendly. Kinda cool watching the same move on the airplane with your best-friend not having to use old school 1/8" y splitters

Great for Using Bluetooth Headphones on a Plane

Got this to use Bluetooth headphones on the airplane, works great. Initial setup at home was a bit tricky as there is no interface and it will connect to the first discoverable Bluetooth device, but no problems once I got that straightened out. Small size is a plus too. Keep in mind that this is a Bluetooth TRANSMITTER ONLY: You plug it into an Audio Out and connect Bluetooth headphones to it. There are receivers only or both transmitter/receivers if you need to do something else, but I knew this going in, and this is exactly what I wanted.

Works quite nicely. Was easy to connect to many different devices. Lip sync was good. Do wish it had more range but sound quality was good with B&W PX7 headphones

Works great. It’s small so it fits on my tv easily. It came with all the cords and adapter it needed this was not pointed out very well in the product description.

Don't even consider wasting your money

One of the most expensive bluetooth audio-only transmitters out there. Anker is a good brand name and that must be all you're paying for here. There's a hundred equivalents from competitors that cost significantly less and usually offer more features such as a newer version of Bluetooth and/or the ability to receive as well as transmit. But this price literally is more expensive than all the direct competition from even Best Buy alone, it's audacious for them to be charging it still on such an old out-dated product. The only explanation here is that Anker is treating their brand name such as Apple and can feel like they can charge significantly more for a product that's IDENTICAL to at least a dozen or two competitors.

Just “Ok” solution

“Ultra low” latency is only low latency, with some broadcasts it syncs pretty well, but with other broadcasts audio lags 1/4 sec or more behind video

1.Llisten to downloaded music or videos on the connected device (not live streaming) to see whether the issue still persists.
2.Try deleting the pairing history on your device, resetting your device, then try to pair with the adapter again.
3.Try pairing the this item with another Bluetooth headphones or speaker.

This item is designed as a Bluetooth transmitter, therefore, this needs to be plugged into an AUX output of a device, such as an older tape deck, CD player system (without BT functionality) so that your headphones or speakers (with BT capability) can pair with this transmitter. I tried a cheap Chinese knockoff Bluetooth transmitter through Amazon first, which did not work and was returned. This worked perfectly, as expected and exactly as described in the product overview.

It works, just not very good. The audio had static in it and would cut in and out. I was only 5 feet away and tried 2 different headphones with the same result.

2. Forget all pairing records and retry.
3. Make sure there is no interference between the speaker and your device, such as walls, pillars, home appiances, a Wi-Fi modem, etc. (put the speaker and device in the same room).

Poor product. It could not sync to my basic cat stereo. After reading numerous reviews on the web, I knew there wasn’t hope. I returned the item the next day.
