Q: Will this unit work indoors? Is it omni directional"
A: I'm not sure if you can use it outdoors. It seems to be omnidirectional as the reception does not change when the sheet is rotated (unlike the old rabbit ears, which were very sensitive).
Q: Is there a length limit on the coax from the antenna to the TV
A: I have this with over 100ft coax for a station 49 miles away. The only way to accomplish this is to buy a separate amplifier, any brand works. I use an RCA pre-amplifier which works really well.
