Games confusing
The game was a little expensive but the graphics are good.

Has potential
Gonna be honest here, I wont recommend the game as it is now. However, the gameplay is good but the story and content are lacking. They are already patching tons of bugs and I am having fun with the game because the loot is pretty good. But for those on the fence, wait a few months and see if the content gets better. Very similar launch to destiny 1.

Fun game and getting better all the time
Fun game, pure and simple. I enjoy the game and play it almost daily. Being able to fly is really cool. The combat mechanics are fun and work well with the 3rd person view. I like that each Javalin is completely different and has it's own unique abilities. Speaking of which, the abilities are lots of fun. It's just a joy dropping a massive lightening strike or cluster of missiles on an enemy. Anthem got a bad reputation at launch which I don't think was fair. Sure it a had a few bugs but a lot of games do at launch so this was nothing new and the issues weren't really that bad. The developers have been constantly fixing things so it keeps getting better. All I can say, is don't believe all the negative press about this game, try it for yourself.

Not as bad as the "professional" reviews say it is
If you've read anything about this game, you've probably written it off. Maybe @ $59.99 there's not enough gameplay at launch, but the game is now being discounted a bit; so, IMO, the value is there. The gameplay is actually very good. The ability to fly and hover make this game quite unique in how the maps are structured and how you can approach combat situations. Each of the four javelins feel and play significantly different from each other. The only thing holding me back from giving this game 5 stars is the lack of diverse content at release. Many free updates were planned, but they have been delayed -- hopefully not indefinitely. I really like this game. There just needs to be more off it.

Not deep...yet
I've been playing the game since release a couple of weeks ago, and so far it's really entertaining. The world is large, beautiful, and full of variety and flying around it may be the best part of the game. Combat is satisfying and varied enough to where it doesn't get old. I think the downsides are the lack of depth in the world. The public world events don't seem that large and the rewards for these are often disappointing. Also, the story, although pretty good, is short and somewhat predictable. The benefit to a game like this, and what I'm expecting, is that development of new content and updates will keep improving the experience and leveling this game out with its competitors.
