I bought this to hook up to my laptop because I got tired of the tiny laptop screen. I use my laptop as my main computer, actually my only home computer, and that's what I've done for many years. I have it sitting on a pedestal with a USB connected keyboard and wireless mouse because I can't stand laptop keyboards or the mousepad on a laptop. I bought this one specifically because it has an HDMI input and full high-definition. It has no speakers nor any speaker inputs but I listen to my music on my Klipsch computer speakers connected directly to the laptop. I got this on a Black Friday deal for $69 and it's one of the best purchases I've made in awhile. At 21.5" it's the perfect size. Not too big but certainly big enough to make it easier to read everything online and watch videos/movies. The picture is super crisp and the colors are great. I did notice the colors are super rich and I don't know if that's just from me seeing poor colors of my laptop or not, but they look great. If you hook this up to your laptop you have to do some fiddling with the settings on the laptop to get this monitor to be the primary one and to shut off your laptop screen. Not hard to do at all but just something to keep in mind when you hook it up to a laptop. My overall review of this monitor is I would certainly buy it again even if I had to pay more money for it. I had never heard of this brand before but it's great. I highly recommend this monitor as a great economical option if you're looking to save some money on a new monitor.

Does what a monitor does. It’s surprisingly quick and sharp for such an inexpensive little guy.

If you just need a decent, no frills 1080p monitor this is a really good pick-up. Nice aesthetics, good viewing angles, both of mine go to 75hz on an overclock. I was planning to get a large 4K display and just split-screen it but I know the moment I do that monitors will start getting HDR and other new features. For 80x2 this seems like a very fine way to fill the gap. I got these monitors on the Black Friday special and I have to say for the price they are great little monitors. They were really easy to set up and were pretty much plug and "play. For a dual monitor work station these are the way to go and the fact that they are pretty narrow flat screens is a bonus. No tools required for attaching the base, that was nice!

Bought this monitor on sale, and it was a great deal. The picture is great, we can connect it through HDMI (not all monitors do that!), and it's thin enough and light enough to mount on a wall. Plus, it has actual on/off/menu physical buttons... a huge plus, in my book. Very pleased.

I was looking for a good, less expensive second monitor for my computer laptops. I purchase two of these monitors at about $75 each. They are great for using as a second monitor for laptops. I may not use them for gaming for serious photo editing but for simply having a handy second monitor they are great and my work flow is much easier on me. At $75 it's a great deal i could not pass up.

For the purposes of portability, I use my laptop for professional video editing. My laptop screen is small, so I bought this monitor to give me a larger view of my detailed editing. It is perfect for the job, and it is reasonably priced. If you are looking to expand your viewing area, and high resolution is not necessary, this monitor is priced right.

picture is great. unit is slim. only 1 HDMI port and no use ports. don't like that all the controls are at the bottom. but still great value.

Color, resolution, is great. Size is good not too big. Easy to connect.

It was black Friday and I was looking for a new monitor for a very good price and I found this one for 69.99$ and I went for it. The little bezels makes the screen look perfect and also the factor that it is an IPS is a pro because it is very bright. The best of this monitor is the design of it, I really like it and it was the thing that pushed me to buy it.

When looking for a new computer monitor, I wanted one that was comparable with name brand screen size and quality. This AOC monitor brought me very close to what I was seeking in a name brand but at a much cheaper price. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy another AOC in the future.

For the price, this monitor is great. I am in school and use a laptop. This is a great second monitor that enables me to write papers on one screen and perform research on the other. Highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive second screen.
