I run my electricity off the srp box and from time to time, I forget to reload, so my power cuts out. I have my modem and router ran from the backup. It held up both times like a champ! Life is busy, let technology simplify the rest!

Love this new battery. So much smaller than the old model. Better footprint easier to use.

Just experienced my first power outage and this worked perfect!!!! I’m getting 3 for each of the computers in the house since we all WFH and go to virtual school!!

Works just fine and have had no trouble with it yet. Power went out a couple of times but I shut down the computer with plenty of battery left.

We've had several APC battery backups and did not know they made this narrow model till I saw it on the shelf at Best Buy. Compared it to the ones that take up a lot of territory on the desktop - and chose this for the slimmer profile. No problems, everything plugs in neatly.

Item is as described and weighs A LOT! it requires the user to actually attach the battery-cable to set up the device. Easy to do, with simple instructions. my biggest complaint, is that many bulky power cords will plug-in with their plastic-body off to the left or right, which covers up another empty plug, and wastes space. Even with the spacing on this one, we basically lost a plug. We probably should've bought one with some plugs on opposite sides, to better space out what needs to go into this unit. It's working fine and does the job as needed.

I’ve always trusted APC products and this one is no exception, especially at the price.

What a relief no more worries with rain and showers interrupting your broadcasts and podcasts.

This is a terrific battery backup for networking and other equipment. I purchased and installed this after a for APC failed following it's 15th birthday. The new APC is smaller than the 1200 I formerly owned. During a recent power outage, it powered my router, DSL modem, switch, and a RasberryPi for longer than the local internet provider's own backup power. I was able to continue to use the Internet service until the service provider's service dropped. My only complaint is that many network power supply plugs are turned 90 degrees to all for space on a straight strip. This APC also turned the plugs 90 degrees which means not much can fit. Be aware there is a similar version to this unit that does not come with a USB plug. I purchased the version with USB.

Have only had this a month, and really like it so far. The tall style fits nicely in the space, and it was a breeze to setup and use. Price for outlets that included a USB charging port and a USB interface for automatic computer power-down was perfect.

Really love my APC Battery Back up system. I did a lot of research - this new UPS design was something different and better suited for my needs. It has 5 Battery & Surge protection outlets. Whereas most UPS systems (even more expensive ones) has maximum 3 - 4 outlets for both types of protection. I absolutely love the compact size - it also stands up giving me more floor space. Looks cool and compact under my desk. Best Buy also had the best price - didn't even have to do a price match.

This is the second APC UPS that I purchased though the previous one was of a different design. I purchased this product based upon the success I continue to have with the other model that supports my home network. I cannot confirm the reported battery life of this unit (I use it with an IOT device), but thus far I have had no issues. Wall mounting is a little challenging because of the keyhole type slots, but once mounted the unit is secure. I did notice that there is mechanical relay noise as the unit charges that could be irritating in a bedroom, but for my situation this is not an issue.

We recently took an indirect lightening strike that fried our TVs, and some electronics. I had everything running trough surge suppressors, but not everything was protected. After doing some research on the difference between surge suppressors and UPS, I decided to go with the UPS even though the cost was more. The protection level is more also. This UPS is super easy to connect and setup, and can be remotely monitored if you choose to do so. So far I am very happy with this purchase. We have had a few more storms since then, and no issues to date. Only time will tell.

Lets me start off by saying this was a great deal. I bought 2 of them. I intended one for my bedroom to protect a 65" tv with all my gaming consoles and home theater system; the other I have it set in my home office for the computer, printer, wifi, paper shredder. Little did I know that 2 days later there was a really bad power outage. This happened when I was using the computer. The battery back up worked flawlessly, didn't even blink, I knew there was something not normal because I heard the house alarm beeping, I also noticed a soft click coming from the APC unit, when I looked at it the green light that indicates it was on was blinking, so I went ahead and shutdown my computer properly. That same day another power outage occurred, this time, while i was watching tv. Tv did not even flick or nothing it continue playing the movie i was watching. I knew the power was out because the a/c unit suddenly stopped working. I am very glad I bought these 2 units it is one less thing to worry about, and with the technology cost these days it is money well spent.

I finally invested in this UPS to keep my system up & running during this period of “work-from-home.” It has worked beautifully. With 5 ports that are surge protected + battery backup & 2 more surge protected ports, my office setup is strong. Thankful for the UPS reassurance, as our area does quick power blackouts, so this will keep my router up & running for that brief outage, rather than having to wait for a 15 minute reboot! Great price, great product - nice to have the reassurance I won’t lose my work flow due to power cycles while at home.

The APC does a great job leveling out energy spikes and brownouts / blackouts. It functions as both a surge protector and a battery to keep the computer running temporarily in the case of an outage. The included USB cable allows your computer's power management to shut down the computer automatically in the case of critical battery to keep your system files secure. However, none of these APC back-ups have (in my experience) performed for the length of time that the manufacturer suggests. I keep my 24 inch monitor and my custom PC with a 650 watt power supply plugged into the battery back-up plugs while the printer and speakers are plugged into the surge only connectors. With that set up, I am lucky if I get 5 minutes in the case of an outage. But those 5 minutes are better than nothing. Having used APC and Cyber-Power, I prefer APC. APC units often have replaceable batteries and the aforementioned USB hookups.

It is one of the very few smaller UPS devices listed in the compatibility list with my Synology NAS boxes for an affordable price. I use it for my networking gear (cable modem, router, Samsung SmarthThings hub, Philips Hue hub, 2x Synology NAS boxes, and a 16-port gigabit switch) in the closet. Having a replaceable battery is a great feature. So far, so good. Tested it and it worked smoothly shutting down the devices gracefully. I feel confident that this will also be able to handle any power spikes in the line. The only thing I miss is that the other UPS devices I own have LCD screens for more info.

Purchased this item as our IT director for our company recommended this for our Apple computers. Great surge protector with a battery. The best part as we get Hurricanes in South Fl. I can also use this device to charge my devices from home. Highly recommend and very pleased with my purchase!

These battery backups are great. I use them on all computers for me and my family. I also use them on my TVs, cable boxes, network routers and switches...anything that would be a problem if the power blinked for a short time (up to 30 minutes) and I had to wait for things to reboot.

This unit is working great. It is easier to plug into than the old model it replaced. It came with the usb cable to adjust the settings. I will probably buy another one or two to replace my other old UPS units if replacing the batteries no longer rejuvenates them. I have had excellent experience with the APC backups; they have lasted over 10 years before needing replacement. I have replaced the batteries after 3 or 4 years.
