APC Metered by Outlet with Switching Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) enable advanced, user-customizable power control and individual outlet power metering. Power sequencing delays allow users to define the order in which to power up or down attached equipment. Avoid circuit overload during power recovery and extend uptime of critical equipment by prioritizing the load shedding. Current metering provides real-time remote monitoring of connected loads. Switched Rack PDUs include real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, and locking IEC receptacles. User-defined alarms warn of potential circuit overloads before critical IT failures occur. Users can access, configure, and control Switched rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet Interfaces and is complimented by Struxureware for Data Centers using Data Center Expert and Data Center Operations with Capacity and Change modules.

The Vertiv Geist Monitored Rack PDU VP4N30AP is a 30A, 120V, 0U, vertical rack power distribution unit with input power monitoring and breaker-level current monitoring. It has (24) NEMA 5-20R receptacles and an L5-30P plug providing 2.8kW of power capacity. This device offers quick access to critical power usage information down to the device level to evaluate energy usage trends and maximize uptime. It is integrated with the Vertiv Geist Next-Generation IMD which displays power data via its 128x128 high-visibility LCD. It has an internal sensor that intelligently adjusts the orientation based on horizontal or vertical installation. This includes a redundant power-sharing port that connects two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of power loss. Enhanced security with a secure boot is added to the device to help ensure data and operations are protected.
