I like this surge protector because it has 11 regular three prong plug in outlets. Six of the regular 3 prong outlets are spaced about one and one-quarter inches apart. Some of my chargers or power sources (for things like sound equipment) are between 2 inches wide or even 3 inches wide. I could wish that the 3 prong outlets are spaced even further apart. (Some people will have to change which of the plugs a charger is place in since sometimes the chargers will be too close together to fit.) But by having 6 of the 3 prong outlets that have extra space and are on either side of the surge protector, I can plug in all of my equipment. 5 of the 3 prong outlets in the middle are quite close together, so those need to be used for a standard plug. Don't forget there are also 2 USB outlets. It has an 8 foot cord and a light indicator. The surge protector plugs into the wall at a slant. I guess this is called a right-angle design. (All 3 prongs of the plug are used.) The nice thing about a slanted plug-in is that it does not block the other plug-in on the switch plate. Also, it was on sale so it was a good price and better than other products at that price.

I purchased 2 of these to replace some non-functioning power strips that had become hazardous to use. I am very happy with this power strip and I have always been a user of APC products. The usb charge ports are not a fast charging type (at least according to my smart phone), but they work as advertised. The spacing and orientation of the outlets alloys for various types and sizes of power bricks or plugs to be used at the same time. I recommend these to anyone who needs a dependable power strip/surge protector. And yes this can be mounted to a bench or desk. One particular feature that you may like is the fact that the power switch cannot be accidentally used as it is recessed. I can't recall how many times my dog (Yes my dog) has accidentally stepped on a power switch, turning off a number of devices. This company has been in the business of power products for many years and is a brand I know I can trust to protect my electrical devices.

I have 2 of these units now The one pictured is used to protect all my video and sound equipment. Like how it has the ones on the side and different con figuration down the middle. The second one is connected to 3 electric recliners to protect the mechanism in them and some small electronics in the living room. Plugs are scarce is its handy to plug everything in.

I love that it has a couple usb and different layout for the plugs. That way larger plugs can fit next to each other. Also the outlet I use has the bottom plug connected to a switch for the lamp. Its nice that I can still plug it on the top! I have enough room to connect my dual monitors, phone, iPad & computer charger, router, modem & dock station.

This is the best surge outlet I've ever used! It has everything I need. The plug layout is perfect and I mount it on the side of my Ikea bookshelf. So far, it's worked with no issues. The quality is excellent. The price was very affordable. This is not anm industrial grade outlet, but for typical electronics, works great.

Bought three of these to replace my old 10 to 15 year old surge suppressors it has plenty of outlets to use. very well made. I need to protect all this expensive computer equipment.

Excellent design. While I don’t use most of the outlets, it enabled me to clean up my area. Items plugged in include my Tablo, ATT range extender, TERIC tv antennae amplifier, iPad power supply and the two USB’s are used for my iPhone and Bose headsets.

Our family really likes the APC SurgeArrest Outlet Protectors. We have had power go out where we live, and it kept our technology intact and working properly. I love that there are charging ports for the cell phones or devices that you use. Also, that the outlet can hold 11 different types of devices. I have had two phones charging, connected my labtop, lights, and other devices. I also like that there is a feature where you can make sure that the plugs are connected properly. If it turns red, you know that there is a problem. When the light is green, means that everything is working properly. Yes, I would recommend this product to others.

Bought 4 of these , 2 of them for my gaming room, and 2 of them for the office . These are amazing ! Definitely recommend them to anyone that has a lot of gear to hook up! Also they come with 2 USB ports ! What else could you need !

Looks good it has enough outlet plugs. I have no way to tell if it will protect my equipment from an electrical surge but that is true with all devices of this type.

Thankfully the surge protection hasn't been put to the test yet but I really like everything about it so far. The outlets aren't too close together so you can actually use all of them side by side and the space allows for larger plugs as well. The sides are slightly at an angle to allow the middle plugs a bit more room and easier access to them than if everything was flat.

I was able to consolidate multiple power strips into one, plus adding USB ports. The types and orientations of the power sockets was very helpful with large plugs.

At the price for this name brand.... this size!!! I would have bought 3 more on the spot if there was more in stock. I could use more of these in my home to protect my electronics. I bought this one for my work truck.

I use this device for my aquarium. It runs all the different lights and pumps and aeration devices.

Good Surge Protected power strip. Have a few electronic devices on a shelf and needed a few more outlets. Fits perfect behind the shelf. The outlets are far enough apart for those bulkier plugs.

I WILL RATE THIS A 5/5! I HAVE MY XFINITY XB8-T GATEWAY AND XBOX SERIES X CONSOLE AND MY ASUS TUF GAMING MONITOR VG27AQL1A HOOKED UP TO IT AND IT PROTECTED EACH DEVICE WHEN THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE ROLLING IN. NO SIGNS OF INTERFERENCE WITH CONCURRENT POWER VOLTAGE. IT'S A GREAT TECH AND WORTH THE BUCK TOO!

Great buy and does a very good job protecting my PC during electrical outage surges. I been trough multiple outages from storms and it did it's job everytime. I really like the power switch on the side too as it's much safer being there's less chance something can accidentally drop on it and hit it off.

Lots of outlets and set up is nice so plugs are not in the way of other plugs.
