The fact that Astralion comprises of former members of bands such as Olympos Mons, the Abdication and HumanGod has the advantage that we have experienced musicians with a firm and clear target ahead of them. The musical direction of the Finns was influenced by bands such as Sonata Arctica, Thunderstone, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, early Blind Guardian and Y. Malmsteen. In a nutshell then we are talking about broad choruses, voluminous melodies, galloping guitar attacks as well as tactful, neo-progged 6-string inserts. Speed is an important characteristic of Astralion's style, similar to early Sonata Arctica work but with higher melodic content. Yet on the other hand you cannot miss a touch of Teutonic-Metal a la Helloween. Album Tracks 1. Mysterious & Victorious 2. The Oracle 3. At the Edge of the World 4. When Death Comes Knocking 5. We All Made Metal 6. Black Sails 7. To Isolde 8. Computerized Love 9. Mary (Bloody)

New Wave Of British Heavy Metal act Apocalypse from London was formed by guitarist Steve Grainger around 1980. The band emerged from two bands in North London. Phaze and Stone Lady. Originally Nick Brent Dave (MEX) Higgen (Stone Lady) and Marc and Steve Grainger.(Phaze) Mex left the band to move in a different direction and to set up the Octave Studio and PA Company in North London. Dave Robertson joined and Apocalypse were established. Ironicalyit was Dave (mex) higgen who named the band APOCALYPSE. It took the band two years to their one and only single called InchStormchildInch for Gate Records. After minor personnel problems with another band of the same name the band changed their name to Omega and recorded the number InchBlood SacrificeInch for Ebony's rather obscure InchMetal WarriorsInch compilation (issued in 1983). InchThe ProphetInch was originally released on Rock Machine (basically a subdivision of Punk tag Razor Records) in 1985. The line up consisted of Dave Robertson (bass, vocals), Nick Brent (guitars, vocals), Steve Grainger (lead guitars, keyboards, vocals) and Graham Roberts (drums). The High Roller re-issue of the album comes with new, superior cover artwork. The CD edition contains unreleased demo recordings of InchSummertimeInch, InchHeat of the NightInch, InchAbandon HopeInch, InchBlood SacrificeInch and InchThe ChildInch as exclusive bonus material.1. 2013 from the Swedish Prog Rock band. With love for Hard Rock and hatred of the genres conventions and standardization, the Schelander brothers began writing songs together many years ago. To write music together, simply for the love of writing, was an old Christmas tradition between the brothers. The winter breaks filled the house with Reggae, Samba, Rock and a lot of other songs in different genres. But in 2005 things got more serious. The goal was to write 10 songs, each with it's own identity but still naturally included in a collection of ten. One rule was that each song would have free reign to take the paths it wanted to. Like characters in a novel the songs would be able to travel their own ways and the composer's task was only to document it's path. Album Tracks 1. Under the Sun Part 1 2. Shadow of the Light 3. Propaganda 4. Higher Ground 5. Noname Lane 6. Extreme Media Makeover 7. Long Gone Generation 8. Modern Original Sin 9. State of Mind 10. Under the Sun Part 2
