Stopped charging as soon as return window closed.

The device came with an off brand charger that didn't work for the device. I wasn't happy about it but fine. So, I purchased an apple branded charger. It worked at first, then stopped charging completely. Came back to return. Lo and behold, it is now un returnable. Big surprise. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
