The Apple iPad Air with wi-fi is super! It is easy to operate, the perfect size, and even makes my granddaughters and grandsons “green with envy” because Nanny has one and they don’t! Lol

I wasn't sure about which iPad to purchase but after some research I decided on the iPad Air and I'm glad I did. It's simply smooth in everything it does. During the holiday's there was not better deal than at BestBuy and I would highly recommend them both!

It is time for upgrade from my old iPad 4. Still in the process of learning. Wider screen dimension with features I have to get used of it. No regrets!

Replaced my IPad Mini with the IPad Air and it was a great choice. Larger screen is a plus and it has features and power needed if not using for business.

Purchased this for my father in law. He needs to work when traveling, but without the bulk of a laptop. The Air is a good balance of performance and cost. It has a larger screen, two gen newer processor, and more storage options (compared to the basic iPad). I have the 9.7 iPad Pro and will probably look at a newer one soon. I needed more processor and storage which is why I went with he Pro. I showed him the functions of iPad OS which includes using a mouse and USB thumb drive access. He needed to sign documents, so the ability to use the pen worked out good. The pen is good to take notes and sign documents. I would really think about whether you really need it or would use it enough. At $100.00 it is a little pricey. By the time you purchase the tablet, case, and any accessories you are adding up some $$$. See if someone you know has one and will allow you to test it out. Numbers, Pages, and Adobe Reader pretty much does what he needs. I believe Microsoft Excel, Word, etc are read only on devices 10.1 inches or larger. You have to purchase Office 365 to modify/create documents otherwise, but you may want to investigate that. The mouse cursor is a little odd (a circle) but never the less it functions pretty well. The Air also uses the lightening connector, which is the same as his phone. You will need an adaptor for the USB feature. Make sure you purchase one that has the power and USB ports. This allows you to charge it while using the USB and some USB drives; require the power to work. We also purchased a case that has a keyboard built in. It looks and functions like a laptop. Also you can quickly separate them if you only want to read with the tablet. Just compare the models and find someone that uses tablets when purchasing one. To say its a laptop replacement would depend on your needs, so again do a little research. Ask some friends what they use and or have them show you what they have. Prices can vary quite a bit from the basic iPad to the Pro models.

I have been a Samsung user for years but have found I have constant issues with with my tablets and phones. First is I can’t get more than 2 years of life if I’m lucky out of a Samsung tablet and my Samsung phones all have had icon burning into the screens. Due to that I did a ton of research to find which tablet was best for my needs and decided to try Apple products which I am thrilled I did because this tablet is amazing! The color quality is fantastic, the 10.5” size allows for easy viewing, the display colors are vibrant, it offers a large memory capability, and the battery life has lasted way longer than my Samsung tablets. Apple’s warrenty is an added bonus even though my research show these tablets have way outlasted the available warranties. The only small issue I have with this tablet is the speakers quality. They are at the bottom and not that loud even at full blast, if that is an issue for you then take a step up to the iPad Pro which has 4 surround speakers. I would like to mention some apps don’t go full screen which is an issue with that app developer, not the tablet so I can’t fault the tablet for that. While I haven’t owned this tablet that long, I am already in love with it and can tell you that if you are trying to decide on a tablet, I highly suggest the iPad Air. If you do a lot of creating videos, music, photography, or art especially professionally then you might want to take a step up to the iPad Pro since it’s offers more features, but don’t get me wrong you still are able to do a good majority of those things on the iPad Air you just get more with the pro.

This is my third iPad and absolutely my favorite so far. The screen colors are brighter than ever and everything is crisp & clear. All the new tricks are here making navigating very fast and loading content in the blink of an eye. This iPad is so thin & light you won’t believe it! I got the 256 GB so I will be able to load all my favorite apps and keep my thousands of photos, too.

Purchased this iPad Air as an upgrade to an iPad Air 2. It has a larger screen, more GB space, is much faster than prior, and has extended battery life. Like all Apple products, "it just works". Already have 11 movies downloaded and still have over 190GB space still available, This time around I added an Apple keyboard cover and a Gen 1 pencil. Terrific package. Best Buy made the entire transaction easy including taking my prior iPad as a trade in. Provided a nicely reduced cost. I highly recommend the latest model iPad Air.

My old iPad was SO old I couldn't upgrade anything on it - including the IOS. A couple of my favorite apps would no longer even boot up. So, wifey dragged me kicking and screaming to Best Buy and I bought this new iPad Air WiFi model with 256GB internal storage. Boy, this is head and shoulders above the old one. It's fast, the display is awesome, and once I got used to a bunch of changes (no easy task!), I really like it. It connects to the hotspot on my phone effortlessly, so this will be my go-to electronic gizmo on my next 30 day stay in the hospital. Red Bull TV, here I come! One of the main reasons I upgraded (besides harping from my wife) was so I COULD once again get Red Bull TV. It runs it like it was made for it - and it was, in my opinion. The camera is really nice. It takes great pics, and the videos are also stellar. I don't often use these features though because holding up an iPad to take a picture or a video is awkward. Who carries an iPad with them while out sightseeing or hiking? I'm pretty sure some folks do, but I'm not one of them. Having to go online to get an owner's manual is a pain, and for me, I HAVE to have one. Some who upgrade their stuff more often than I do (and that would be probably everyone . . .) would have an easier time transitioning. Moving apps and files to the new pad was a bit of a pain, but I finally got most of my stuff swapped out. I may not wait this long to upgrade next time, just because of the trouble I had transitioning THIS time. Just sayin' . . . There are a few issues I still don't like but they are general iPad issues and not germane to my review of this unit. I got the Logitrech keyboard to go with it.

This is my second iPad Air. The first I bought in 2013 and this will replace that one. I love the size and ease of use. It pairs nicely with my iPhone and is quick, responsive and easy to use. I only use this with WiFi, it does not have it's own plan. It's great for surfing the web, playing videos, playing games, email and texting. The thin size makes it easy to fit into my bag and carry with me back and forth to work. It has great battery life and works beautifully.

I’ve only known desktop computers until I bought this iPad Air almost 8 months ago. It’s size is perfect for my needs. It has ample memory. It is logical in its functionality. It is fast. It’s sturdy. It’s very easy (and fun) to use. What more can I say? I’m a happy owner and strongly recommend this iPad Air to anyone in the market for a functional and reliable tablet! Heck; the matching keyboard was also discounted. I couldn’t go wrong!

I have always liked the iPad mini form factor, particularly for reading books. Decided to try this do to it’s thin profile and light weight. I use it a lot more in the portrait mode due to the much larger screen - which helps the balance and lessens the fatigue of holding. Also love using the logitech pencil with this unit. The fast processor and 256 GB of memory should keep this from near-term obsolescence.

A great product use it to have zoom meeting and take note

At first glance this didn’t seem to be much different from my last iPad, which my grandson “took over.” As I use it more, I see that it is different: better screen, longer battery life, sharper camera to mention a few. As I read the downloaded user’s manual, I am sure I will discover lots more. Also love interaction with the Apple Pencil.

Love the ease and speed of this I pad use on the internet. The size is great for reading. Picture quality is excellent. I use this I pad for personal use only. Very reasonably priced for that use. Also plenty of internal storage for all my music, photos and apps.
