I travel a lot and got tired of putting the whole charger in and out of my laptop bag, plugging and unplugging from my office to home. Unlike windows laptops, the charger for Apple laptops is big and bulky when you use the entire set of cords. The charger weighs almost as much as my MacBook air. On the plus side Apple chargers have long cords that are adaptable to making shorter. You can unplug the heavier cord by pulling it out of the brick and then attaching a plug adapter to the brick in its place. Having a really nice long version makes it easier to charge while in a meeting because the cord reaches to an outlet. This one came with an adapter so you can leave the longer & clunkier cord at home (or in the car) and just plug in the brick. It charges fast & has little wings to wind the cord to the brick neatly, making it convenient for a laptop case. Was thinking about giving it 4 stars (or 4 1/2) because I can't understand why Apple, with its beautifully designed and light laptops, can't seem to figure out a way to ditch the brick. But, that's not the charger's fault. It works as promised.

Works fine though it is wearisome how Apple keeps changing the adapter plugs from generation to generation. The magsafe connection does feel more solid, I guess, but the fact that it only fits laptops of the most recent generation makes it less useful.

I would definitely buy this again it’s brand new it comes in the box it has a long cord so it stretches out and has this thing on it to hold the cord so it doesn’t drag across the ground or anything very useful.

Excellent product. Using it right now! Walked into Best Buy and immediately was asked what I was looking for. They took me straight to it. Asked a few questions to make sure it was the right adapter. Great service and great product.

I left town without my power cord! Best Buy had the right cord for the right price - an Apple - 45W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter with Magnetic DC Connector. My MacBook was charged up and I was quickly back in business!

I bought this as a replacement for my Macbook charger that I have had for years. I recommend this as a great charger for anyone and I can tell it will last me for many more years.

I’ve had my charger for almost a month, after replacing my original which I had for 5 years, I am hopeful that this charger will last as long but it is a brand new charger in great condition.

I lost my charger so I thought instead of ordering a cheap one through Ebay I got an original I phone charger. Well it helped to charge but any outlet or USB I attach it to says " charging is not supported with this accessory" I would of liked for this product not to have a faulty message on my phone but oh well. So i guess i should of payed less money at Ebay for a cheep one and still had the same result.

If you are having problems with your power cable, you know it is a necessary feature for a laptop computer. Check your existing power supply to verify the 45W rating; there are several different ones available in the store. It is essentially separate two parts: you can plug the "wall wart" directly into an outlet, or use the provided extension cord that plugs into the area housing the prongs. I think the magnetic connectors are a good idea; that way you don't damage the smaller cable when moving the computer while plugged in to a power outlet. Apple products are pricey, but they are made well (and compatible with Mac laptops of course). If this fixes your problem, it's money well spent.

Researched Consumer Reports before buying and settled on Whirlpool Duet for price and reliability. Many stackable washer and dryers are cheap, ugly combo units or if they are nicer and full-size, they don't fit in my laundry closet. The Whirlpool Duet fits nicely and looks great! It works extremely well - no problems so far. I went with the most basic Whirlpool Duet models - fewer bells and whistles, but they have everything I need. The washer is so efficient that I can dry lighter loads in about 15 minutes - fantastic! In reviewing other similar models, I found the best prices at Best Buy.

Originally when I purchased my laptop it came with a charger and it only came with the super long cord which often got tangled because of the length. Luckily this cord comes with two options! A smaller cord which is connected to the adapter and the longer one which can be attached to the adapter as well. I love having both options. These chargers are also very durable. My original one lasted about 6 years, so it’s a pretty good price for the longevity of these products.

I lost the original charger somewhere between home and school. Couldn't remember where that thing got lost along the way :( so had to get a new one. This one seems functional enough. At first I wasn't sure if it would be as good as the original, but it has worked really well and I've had it for a while now. No signs of wear-and-tear although I throw it around quite a bit in my bag and around the house.

My charger died on night, and I immediately went to go buy a replacement. I have a 2013 MAC book pro, and they gave me this charger as a replacement. I’m guessing it was the updated version. I’d recommend to buy brand new and not used. The first time I bought a used one, it did not charged my laptop at all. I would plug it in and the laptop would just die. Went to exchange for a new one and this one worked perfectly fine. A lot less clunky than the first version. It charges my laptop faster than the original one did

I bought a cheap replacement charging cord for my Mac a year ago and learned my lesson. I needed a reliable one and it had to be an Apple cord. This one provides two options for length and a heavy duty cord. I feel confident that it will last for a long time. The price is high for a cord in my opinion, but it was what I needed.

Needed to purchase a new one for my daughter who is very hard on electronics. The one that came with her computer lasted 3 plus years of abuse so having to get another one was worth it. Theses are recommended as well for Apple products vs off brands so spend the money as you will get your monies worth!
