I enjoy both products very much. I love the portability of an all in one desktop computer.

The iPad Pro 9.7" is in my opinion a small to medium improvement from the iPad Air, the display is better, there is more storage capacity and it is a bit faster. There are a few new features such as the true tone display which matches the ambient room color, a built in sim and the ability to use an Apple Pencil. For my needs I was drawn to the higher storage capacity and the overall speed improvements and the iPad Air wasn't what I would call slow. If you're trying to decide on whether or not to get the iPad Air or Pro I would say get the air unless you want more storage and or want the other features that the pro has. For me I love the pro's new features and would buy it again, I do wish it came with force touch such as is available with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, it's actually a really handy feature that's only going to get better,

Love the upgrade in features & performance from the iPad Air 2. Same size/weight but a significant upgrade in usability. The keyboard cover is ingenious & I can actually use it while sitting it on my lap. The pencil is a work of art in itself, though I wish Apple had designed an elegant way to store it on/with the iPad. This is so much lighter and more portable that MS Surface machines. The iPad Pro 9.7 is still not enough to be your only computing device, but for me it is getting to be 85-90% there. Love this machine.

This is my second iPad. I wasn't happy with having to be on a network to show videos/photos that were in the cloud. So, I decided to get the 256G. I am very happy I did. This machine is so super fast and what a display! It's gorgeous! This one charges fast and I can watch over 5 hours of streaming video and still have 30% battery left. I frequently go out of the country and with the ability to slap in network sim, all issues are solved

This is the best iPad Apple has made to date. It's a big improvement over prior iPad models (I've had two previous ones) with much better screen resolution, a super fast processor chip, high def camera and conveniently small and lightweight touch and feel. Highly recommended.

This is a replacement for my 2012 gen-4 ipad. It is a solid performer and the new retina screen has an amazing color gamut. The 256gb of storage is a big step up from my previous 64gb. The battery life is solid- what I expected from previous iPad experiences.

The I Pad Pro with 256GB storage has been a great investment. Easy to operate; crystal clear screen, it is easily portable and does everything one would want from a tablet. Having cellular capacity affords it more options when wireless is unavailable.

I LOVE this ipad...i got the large one to hold movies i purchase or download...sleek slim...I have the data plan so easy to turn on and off...I literally take it everyone with me. Whether it having to respond to work emails or watching a movie while on set or just needing to look something up...you can not go wrong with this ipad

I had the iPad Air (gen 1) for several years but the ability to use the Apple Pencil coupled with zippy performance and 256GB storage sealed the deal for an upgrade. Bought it along with the Logitech keyboard which is superb and even more convenient than the last Logitech keyboard iPad combo I had. It even has a place to store the Apple Pencil. For me, I spend about 1-2 hrs a day on the iPad when not computing on my laptop computers (Mac and PC) so this upgrade was worth it.

Just when I thought Apple could not improve upon the iPad, it did it again, this new iPad Pro it by far the best thing Apple has ever done. It is fast, the resolution is amazing, and it is very light. The ability to seamlessly use the split screen to run multiple apps simultaneously makes it very efficient.

The iPad Pro is the best iPad yet. I have owned an iPad 2, iPad Air, and a MacBook. I am beyond pleased with the iPad Pro's performance. I am excited about being able to have 2 apps on the screen at the same time. Awesome feature!! The iPad Pro is lightweight yet powerful. The Apple Pen rates an A++ and adds even more awesome features to the iPad Pro. I am very satisfied with my purchase of the iPad Pro.

Love the medium-sized screen due to its portability, battery life and ease of use.

We have been buying every generation since the 4th generation. I was already very impressed with the iPad Air 2 but the Pro is that much better because of the Apple pencil function. This iPad is very light weight and the processor speed is very fast. The keyboard that is designed to use with this iPad is also a very convenient item to have. I wish Apple would make a mouse to work with this.

I have three IPads. An IPad 2, a IPad Pro 12" which I use for personal use, and this IPad Pro 9.7" which I use for business. This IPad is light small enough to carry easily and powerful enough to do anything I ask of it. I have the 256 GB model and have everything from my business on it. I still have enough room to go a few more years without running out of room. Great tool.

I love the new iPad Pro! I have owned several iPads and this is the best one yet. It is very fast and very light. Once again, the iPads are so much better than the competing tablets on the market. As has always been my experience with all Apple products, they just work and are so user friendly. I hardly ever us my laptop anymore. I highly recommend the iPad Pro.

LOL...I have been an Apple guy since standing in line for 13 hrs for the 1st gen Iphone Jun 07 (yes I was one of those)...actually sold my other Ipad 2 in anticipation for this one. Though was tempted to get the larger one...friend and I are glad we waited...larger one is just to big. This is the perfect size. I bought the UAG case (see review GR8)...and I take it with me where ever I go. I am never without atleast one of not both of my devices (Iphone-Communicator, Ipad- The Arch)...extremely handy when I am on-set filming..days can be pretty long so having the 256gb allows me to have several movies on there at one time and still have plenty of space. HIGHLY recommend any version 32 or larger

I owned an iPad 2. Over the years it started losing some appeal - primarily because it became harder and harder to use - slowness, crashes, lag in gaming, and a software keyboard not really suitable for long write ups. But that all changed with this new iPad Pro 9.7". The accuracy and ease of use of the Pencil is astounding. Where in March 2016 my iPad 2 was reduced to just a glorified ebook reader, in April 2016, I have an iPad that FOR ME is a SUPERLATIVE ebook reader, a freelance writing device, an emailer, RSS reader, social media explorer, a note taker at work, audio recorder, a comic book reader, a painter and a gaming machine. And it does it all amazingly well. Love this piece of glass slab that is now an extension of my life. Thanks Best Buy for easy returns. I returned the smaller GB version and upgraded to the I bigger size. Also got wifi + cellular version since this pro has apple sim - can fire up cellular in 180 countries and get a quick day/week/month subscription. Fantastic! No negatives. Best device for all it claims to be and more.

I had an iPad 2 with only 32 gigs. Memory filled up pretty fast due to work and videos/pics of my kids. Got the pro 9.7 with 256 gigs. Plenty of memory, excellent screen and super fast compared to my 2. Still many features I have to learn but happy with my purchase so far
