Q: Does this iPad support IOS 26?
A: I have a 4th gen iPad Air, have had it since new 2020 & mine did update to iOS 26.1 I ...However it does not have the new Apple chip so the update to 26.1 will not work for all of the intelligent features of IOS 26 that need that new chip. I use it daily mostly Facetime, photos and video. I plug it in overnight and the battery is still doing well. I hope this helps answer your question. I will be keeping mine.

Basic experience for ipad air 4
The iPad Air 4 is fantastic! Its sleek design, powerful A14 chip, and stunning Liquid Retina display make it perfect for work and play. USB-C support and Apple Pencil compatibility are huge pluses. Lightweight yet powerful, it handles everything from creative tasks to streaming effortlessly. A great balance of performance and value—highly recommend!

Love my iPad!
I did a lot of research before deciding to purchase this iPad. Best buy had the best price point and offered the best option to fit my needs. I am very very happy with my purchase! I've had my iPad for about a year now and haven't run into any issues. The large storage capacity is amazing as I use my iPad for procreate and the designs can take up quite a lot of space.
