    Simple Keyboard That "Just Works"

    I'd used a Zagg folio/keyboard for a long time, but since it connected by Bluetooth, I needed to deal with when it connected, its charge level, and a lot of other things. When it finally stopped working (well after its warranty expired), I decided to go with something simpler. The Apple Smart Keyboard connects to the iPad through a set of electrical contacts on the bottom (as in the photo) of the iPad. It is powered by the iPad and doesn't need Bluetooth or anything else to connect to the iPad. It offers a full-function (no numeric keypad) in a footprint that fits the 10.5-inch diagonal size of the iPad. The keys aren't "clicky", but they do provide a bit of feedback. I'd like to see Apple adopt a keyboard layout that includes some extra keys, such as volume controls, but that's more of a suggestion than an issue. Overall this is a good choice for a basic iPad cover and simple keyboard. And its "refurbished" status has not been anything I've noticed - it works just like a brand-new keyboard.

    Keys wear off

    My only negative on this is the wearing off of used letters. I’ve had my current keyboard for two years and 8 keys are completely off. and 6 are wearing off. But, I just love it. Without it, I would not have an iPad.

    Perfect for y needs

    I love that it is always ready to go no need to charge up. It’s sleek and compact. Because of its magnetic strip an Apple genius innovations I just snap it on & go. Complaints is 1st there is no coverage for the back of my ipad which leaves it open to scratched and bruises. And 2ndly there are times when it could sit up more upright than the lean.

    Fantastic keyboard that does not require Bluetooth

    This was a replacement for one that I wore out. It was listed as “refurbished”. It arrived in record time, in perfect condition and works perfectly!! So thankful to the employee who told me I could find it on your website when it was not in the store!

    Good value

    I bought a knock-off keyboard from Amazon and I HATED it. Every time my palm hit the pad, it jumped to a new site. Then it stopped working after a month. I decided to try a refurbished keyboard and all seems perfect. I don’t need a separate charger for the keyboard which is a huge bonus
