My son is autistic. He can communicate better than most. His passion. elephants and dinosaurs. He hunts videos down on YouTube incessantly. Needless to say purchasing this Ipad Air 2 with LTE was a godsend to my wife. She often has to take my son with her on trips to the store. With the LTE version he can watch his videos and this keeps him happy and my wife and I sane. This model is the low storage version 16GB. With my sons penchant for YouTube, he doesn't have a need for all the extra storage. The iPad is fast to load web pages and the screen looks beautiful. I suggest a very hardy case. Worth the cost to save the device from short falls. No complaints here except if you plan on getting LTE version expect to be upping your data plan with your cell carrier shortly thereafter.

I bought this for my 80 year old mom who refuses to accept new technology. She's spazic over not having a flip phone. Anyway we bought her a tablet (other brand) which she picked up once and refused to use. The IPad however has become her best friend. Lightweight and easy to navigate. She reads the newspaper for several states and her daily scriptures. Shes been surfing the net!!! A big accomplishment. Love it!!!

I carried it to a doctor,s appointment enjoyed playing games,Facebook,e-mail ,while I waited ! I also just love the rotatingp case ! I would recommend. Happy to get this with T-mobile SIM that provide 200mb free per month for use in an emergency when WIFI is not available. Cellular has GPS which works great with Maps and is a must-have for traffic apps. It's a good deal for less that the price Air 2 without cellular and still just as fast with the iOS 9 upgrade.

Can't go wrong with an Apple product, works great but it is not unlocked and it will not be compatible with multitasking in iOS 9. You might want to look into the features that will not be iOS 9 compatible before you choose the Air over the Air2.

I bought it for my parents as they keep traveling and need cellular data for usage. They are loving it. Easy to use, premium feel and experience.

I was looking at the AIR 2, but found this for nearly half the price. I couldn't believe how great it works and it's basically the same as the Air 2. Fantastic price.

Slow, heavy and outdated software might not be a huge concern for many at this price. The mini is far more productive.

Great tablet. Would recommend getting cellular version since there's always the option of adding Internet to it.
