I am a 53 year young woman that decided to go to London and Paris for 2 weeks on my on. So I was planning a trip I had planned on taking my Mac Book Pro. But as the day of the trip got closer I was getting nervous about lugging my laptop around. So last minute I picked up a IPad Mini 3 Wifi. Thank goodness because this was my life saver. I was traveling by myself so did not have that companion to help navigate. What became my companion was my IPad mini. As I navigated around London I was getting easily lost. Trying to read the maps or tube station on my iphone was not working. So I would find a Starbucks with wifi pop in and open up my IPad figure out where I was at and figure out where I had to go. This is how it went for the next two weeks. I never let my IPad out of my site. I also used Yelp to find restaurants while out running around. The IPad Mini 3's battery lasted forever. Was very reliable and easy to navigate. I even used it to take photos to kind of share the space on my Iphone and camera. I could not have had the trip I had which by the way was amazing without the IPad Mini 3!

Great size, big enough to see everything and small enough for traveling. Finger print option a great addition especially when you have snoopy siblings. The color is great. Movies look amazing. I have already recommended to 4 friends which have recently purchased due to my recommendation. To bad you don't offer referral credits.. :( also the upgrade to have more than 1 screen up .. A major plus..

I have been enjoyed my Ipad mini 3 very much. Its screen is just right for me, it is not as large as the regular Ipad and it is not as small as my iphone. I can browse the web with larger letters and it is still very neat to carry around. Love it (-:

If you're thinking about buying an iPad Mini, you should strongly consider buying last year's model (the 2013 iPad Mini 2, formerly called iPad Mini with Retina Display) instead of the iPad Mini 3 that came out in Fall 2014. They are almost identical: EXACT same processor, EXACT same display, EXACT same battery life, EXACT same hardware and dimensions, and they run all the same apps EQUALLY well. The only thing you get with a 2014 Mini 3 that was not on the 2013 Mini 2 is the fingerprint sensor (and a new color option: white front with gold back). This fingerprint sensor is the same one that's on the iPhone 5S and later models. It has limited usefulness on the iPad; it's more useful on phones, since more and more transactions will be done using phones instead of actual credit cards. So, if the Mini 3 and the Mini 2 are virtually identical, why buy the 2? Because it's cheaper. Apple still sells the 2 for $100 less than a comparably configured 3. But you can save even more than $100 if you shop around, because many retailers are clearancing their inventory of last year's Mini 2. Two weeks ago, I found a Mini 2 with cellular and 64gb at B.B. for $150 less than a comparably configured Mini 3. I bought two--one for myself and one for a family member for Christmas. Unless you really want the fingerprint sensor or the new white/gold color combo, skip the Mini 3 and save yourself $100 or more by purchasing a Mini 2 instead.

I definitely can't complain about my iPad mini. I have small hands but I can still manage to hold/type just fine with it. The video playback and display quality is amazing and it's nice and speedy. Also a fan of the Touch ID feature. The only other Apple products I've had were the iPods (mini and the iPod touch), but it's pretty easy to learn. The only thing I wish the iPod mini had was a place for my mini SD card so I could upload/store documents photos and video and just have more space as an option. Other than that, I'm a happy customer!

The introduction of the Touch ID sensor was a great addition. Overall, features such as the front and rear camera, speed, etc. are very similar to the larger Ipads, however it is available in a smaller, more lightweight, compact and easier to carry mini form. This Mini 3 makes it extremely easy to download and manage all of my media between Apple’s various products. Using the iPad mini for Email is a breeze; web browsing is simple and quick.

Love it! The display is beautiful and it is so quick and snappy! I love how it works so seemlessly with my iPhone. I can take pictures on my phone and it'll be on my tablet in no time! Making FaceTime and regular calls from it is also an awesome feature. The fingerprint scanner is awesome too. I was skeptical about the size but it is absolutely perfect for 2 hand operation. It just feels right. I bought this originally to search full websites without having to pull my bulky laptop out and this is great! Makes it so convenient. The kids love the gaming on it (as do I) and I've found a couple educational apps that makes this the total package. I originally was a huge Android fan, but I had a couple Samsung tablets in the past and they just quit working after a while. I've come to the realization that Apple products cost more, but the quality is unmatched. They last and everything just works! I'm so happy with my purchase that I'm thinking of buying another! Buy this you won't be sorry!

I love the fact they apple made mini version of the iPad, but I also love the fact that with throughout time they roll out new features and new changes to everything, for example iPad mini 3, has everything and iPhone 6 has expect for the screen, just a tad big, enough to wrap your hands around it, also lightweight! I had the iPad 3rd gen since it released, huge difference and last but not least, pocket friendly! Inexpensive yet convenient!

The ipad mini is just the right size and has so many features. I just downloaded the ios9 and now it is even better! It works so fast and I use it as my calendar, calculator, Bible, Netflix, camera, Amazon and the list goes on! Easy to care in my handbag. I don't have a smart phone so this little ipad helps me with everything. I highly recommend the ipad mini. You won't be sorry. I owned a Samsung tablet first but it can't even compare to the ipad.

You'd think 16GB is really not much.. but it all just depends on how you use it. But I've pretty much been using my smartphone like an iPad or tablet, using it to read something, watch something, play games, take some notes, etc. But doing all that with this wider screen really made everything I did with my phone way better. It's also pretty light so it's really handy! Good to just keep it at one place.

Purchased this for my wife for Christmas. This was replacing a overly used Nexus Tablet. Since opening the package she has been thoroughly thrilled with the Size, Performance and lightness compared to the Nexus. There is not a day goes by that she does not have this within her hands. I also like the size and lightness compared to my iPad Air. Had I not purchased the iPad Air 1st this would have definitely been my selection.

Bought the iPad Mini 3 as an upgrade for my wife who had a couple year old iPad Mini. Touch ID, Retina display and faster processor were selling points. Small size of the iPad Mini is great for travel while the Retina display provides crisp text for reading.

I finally replaced the original iPad 1 mini 8GB and bought this iPad mini 3 16GB wifi for my wife's birthday. She uses it for: reading, news, playing games, and computing. It is like having a desktop in your hands. The A7 64 bit chip is twice as fast as the previous version (iPad 2 mini). It allows you to run a lot of apps all at once without having any memory issues. The battery is amazing, we get about 7 solid hours of heavy use. It charges in 45-60 min. If you have any doubts buy the 64 GB model, but if you like to save, you can always delete apps and re-add them easily from the app store. The cellular /data feature would have made this a completely different experience. The lightning connection is screamingly fast. The retina display is beautiful and incredibly indestructible. Apple's new fingerprint security is it's only flaw. I was able to unlock my son's new iPhone 6 with my finger, which he quickly changed this feature to a passcode to keep my prying eyes out. i

I'm an equal Microsoft/Apple Fanboy and I was decently pleased with this device. I bought it as a supplement to my phone for browsing the web and playing some games. Pros: - Great screen with wonderful apps - Fantastic size, my web pages fit perfectly and the A7 does a lovely job loading graphics - Touch ID makes this a no-brainer over the iPad mini 2 Cons: - iOS 9 seems to give it a hard time due to only having 1 GB of RAM - I'm not convinced 16 GB is enough, I've managed by deleting apps I don't use all that often, but that's a hassle and I'm very cloud connected as is. I can't say that Touch ID on this (now inexpensive) tablet makes it a winner over the iPad mini 2 but it certainly makes it hard to be cheap and buy the last gen iPad mini. I say go for it as long as you're not trying to play heavy graphics games or have a camera roll that is 3GB+

The size and function of the mini is awesome. It is light weight and easy to use. Apple got it right with this product and purchasing from best buy couldn't have been easier. I prefer to buy all my electronics from best buy because of the outstanding customer service.
