I love it! The battery life could be longer. The weight and size is comfortable for a young user.

Im an avid apple customer I run my entire business on macs & iOS. As an owner of all of the iPad generations, I didn't see the need for a "Mini" version, at first. But decided to buy one and WOW! I can't believe I carried that huge full size iPad around for nearly 4 years. The mini is fast & VERY light. It also fits in my cars center console. Again this thing is with me 6-10 hours a day as I run my entire company in the cloud. Apple has yet again created a product that I didn't realize I NEEDED. Very happy customer.

You just can't beat an iPad for a tablet choice. The mini is very light and has great battery life and is full featured. I thought about waiting for the next gen with retina display, but then there would be a tradeoff on weight and an increase in price. with this product you get solid performance, good display, and access to all the Apple apps. The size is just right for my needs.

I travel international often for my job. I have othe electronics (laptop, kindle fire, iPod touch, iPod nano). I now only carry my iPad mini and iPod touch. The mini is very capable Internet device and is easily packed in my backpack. Gets thru TSA w/o being removed from bag. Can install a free VPN on it which allows content not to be blocked outside of US (unlike the kindle fire). Camera on mini is good but not great. I only need one charger and two cords (very easy to pack). Apple has the best selection of Apps (lots of them for free).

The iPad Mini is a nice little Tablet. It is the perfect size and is easily portable. I purcahsed it mainly for use as an EFB (Electronic Flight Bag), but after having lost my nook, also use it regularly as an eReader. It is also convenient for checking email when I don't wish to take the time to use my laptop, desktop or larger tablet. Overall, I am very pleased. A Windows user by habit and profession, I rather shunned Apple products. I don't regret this purchase whatsoever, however, and find it fills in a nice little gap in my technology arsenal.

The iPad mini brings all of what's great about the larger iPads in a much more manageable size. I use mine mostly for reading, both leisure and work related, as well as surfing the web, email, and watching videos. The only downside, which most people won't even notice, is that Apple left out their famous retina display on this model, most likely so that they could offer it on the next one. That means this great piece of technology could be better. Mind you, I knew that when I bought it and I have no regrets. It's still considered hi-def, I believe.

Very easy to use, screen is clear and bright, battery lasts a long time and price was not bad!

Bought as first time home computer for adult. Great screen quality and easy to set up. Portable. Purchased Belkin keyboard to go with it. Even though Keyboard is small it really is pretty easy to type on . The special characters are a bit difficult to figure out. Back to the ipad. A little pricey we purchased the 32gb but it is really a great electronic device. Not quite a "computer" though we haven't tried word processing, excel etc on it yet but a GREAT portable for everything else.

This is my first Apple product. The setup was a breeze. I began enjoying my iPad immediately. I purchased a few apps, downloaded a video just to see how that worked and sent an email or two, all without a hitch. I did have an issue importing my contacts from Outlook and did end up calling Customer Support. The person I talked to had a problem as well because of the way my Outlook was set up but worked with it until he was able to accomplish the task - it now works seamlessly. I did attend a workshop and even though I had setup my iPad previously, I did find it worthwhile because we covered some features I thought I had no interest in and now do. The entire workshop experience was a class act. Apple knows how to provide quality products and quality support. I plan to attend other workshops.

This is the best product if you are interested in a lightweight tablet. I own iPad, iPad 3, iPad 4 and iPad Mini. And I can share the same Apps among all the devices without paying additional. I can also synch all the devices automatically. I personally prefer larger screen iPad 4, but my wife prefers this lighter size. We use it during commuting, as a car navigator, and as a portable TV during football game together with Elgato EyeTV Mobile. The display is not retina display, but it's hardly noticeable for most Apps. The only drawback is that when I attach a smart cover, the weight increases considerably. Hopefully, Apple or someone else comes up with much lighter cover.

I love my mini iPad. Good size and weight for my purse. Can easily hold with one hand. Glad I did not purchase larger device. Not perfect but very happy with it.

We also have an IPad 2 but the mini is so easy to use and handle, my wife won't part with it. Fits in her purse perfectly! The camera is better also.

There maybe other tablet, big and small, but this one has them all beat. It's easy to use. I keep all my shopping lists on it. and do my online banking with it, manage my financial investments with it and best of all it's always with me. Best of all because it's always connected to the net I never miss any eMails, financial alerts, or IM's. Another plus is that I can communicate to face to face when ever I want or need to.

I love that I can go online anytime anywhere with this Ipad. I love the lightweight size and it fits into my small-to-medium size purse. It's all I need to get me through the day. I use my Ipad all day long and enjoy the fact that I have my movie camera, and can take photos, and check my email anytime. I can share my pictures and videos with friends on Facebook the minute I snap them. I highly recommend this Ipad.

At first I thought the small screen would be hard to see, but as I used it, I found the clarity and sharpness of the display makes up for the small size. The touch screen and the multi-finger gesture technique seemed odd at first, but I adapted to it in a very short time. Anyone considering an ipad should give the ipad mini a good look. It may fit your needs and your pocket better.

Another great product from Apple. Very easy to use. Love the smaller size!

I like the smaller size and convenience (going on a trip and figured this would be better when sight-seeing than my iPad3) - but disappointed Apple doesn't make a full case (front/back cover) like the full size iPad. Got a decent case (Acase) which is pretty thin but the tablet is now definitely not as lightweight as I'd hoped. Also a little uncomfortable to hold - but have only used it for a week, so it may be something I get more used to.

It's light enough that I can put it in my purse. Comes in handy when I need to access the internet when I'm away from home. A lot of fun apps to keep me entertained. Only bad thing I can think of is the ability to see the screen well in full sunlight.

Purchased about 2 weeks before international travel to avoid carrying heavier PC laptop. Was able to access all personal information and communications. Access to all airlines for travel arrangements. Great way to take and transmit quality photos to family and friends. Small package with high capabilities.

I have the 1st and 3rd ipads and purchased this one for my husband. He was reading on his phone and said he didn't want one... Well, he loves the speed and picture quality.
