A: The case will power the phone completely until the case battery dies. Only after the case battery dies does the phone then deplete the phone battery. There is no way to adjust this; there are no case setting to alter.

A: It's recommended if you have the apple fast charge. But any apple charger will do and it'll charge both the battery and case once your battery life is full it'll start to charge the case.
