Switched from my iPhone 8 of 3.5 years. The Good * Phone is small and boxy... but good. * Thicker body = more durable (The 8 bent) * Battery life comparable to the 8. * Apple Support * 5G is nice. * Quick Phone Transfer Switching from iPhone 8 to 12 at home in 20-30 minutes was a surprise. This time included an iOS update and 32Gb on my old phone without iCloud backups. Easy to use application transferred everything via Bluetooth and WIFI. I give 4 stars because the price is high compared to other phones for the features that I want. Not an Apple fan boy but overall am satisfied with the phone. It delivers the best product for me even though I pay a premium because it is tied into the "Superior" Apple certified ecosystem. My criteria for in a phone is small size, battery life, privacy, simple to use, support. This phone checks those boxes the best for me. FWIW, I'm not one to write reviews but have been very satisfied with my iPhone 8 and with the new 12 so far. Do your research and find the best phone for your requirements. Hope this review helps someone make an educated purchase.

Nice size for smaller hands (and girl pockets), running speed and battery life far better than my old iPhone 7. Some features are a change, such as the lack of button and facial recognition (doesn’t read with a mask on.) Sometimes screenshot falters because it’s power + volume, and text notifications don’t always come through if you’ve left the app open. **Note: will need to go to Sprint/T-Mobile store for a new SIM card, but was free and a simple process

Trying out an iPhone for the first time ... so far so good. Size is just perfect for me with small hands and slides in and out of my pockets easily. Set up out of the box is quick and easy. I'm a new iPhone convert from an Android, so I guess it will take time to really see how good or bad the user interface of the phone. That's why I only gave 4 stars. So far, I'm very satisfied.

Great processing speed, battery and camera. The phone does everything instantly. I am only using the most basic features, but it seems to be worth the few extra dollars i spent over the SE.

I was going to order straight from Sprint on. Thursday night, but they charged $10 shipping and the package wouldn’t until Monday at the earliest. My old phone had broken, so I was in a bit of a time crunch. I was sad when my local Best Buy didn’t have the color I wanted in stock, but they offered free shipping and an estimated delivery of that Saturday. I was skeptical that it would arrive on time, but it did! I had my new phone all set up and ready to go Saturday afternoon and I have been in love with it ever since! Great battery life, great camera, all-around happy with my upgrade.

I love my new phone. Even though “mini” is part of its name, the screen is not that small - I don’t watch movies or videos on my phone. I like the Face ID function and the upgraded camera. It took me a day to learn how to navigate it, as it’s different from my last iPhone, a 6plus.

Absolute nightmare getting this activated. The tool to open the receptacle for the sim card was missing. Once I got that solved, the setup instructions on the phone lead me to a screen that stated my verification number was texted to my dead former phone. I was at a standstill, since I could progress no further. A week later I serendipitously put my I-phone near my I-Pad and the verification number appeared. I then was able to complete a part of the setup, but needed to call Sprint to get the phone and text service setup. Sprint was Wonderful!! I still don't have my photos from the I-cloud and in the middle of a pandemic surge am not going to go face-to-face with Geek Squad. Put some frigging instructions in with the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went from the 7 to the 12 mini. Exact same size and fast. The camera is better and the 5G is an improvement. I guess Apple assumes you have a charging block(not included). Bought a 20W USB C wall wart and one for my vehicle. It’s an iPhone, what else can I say.....

Bought this for my daughter since her hands are small and she loves it. Perfect phone for kids and you still get the great quality of the iPhone

Love it. Same size as my old SE. Easy transfer between phones. The battery last much longer before needing recharging than my old phone.

best iPhone. finally a small iPhone that's powerful. feels great in my hands, after having owned a 11 pro for so long.

Excellent phone and device. A quantum leap ahead from my first generation SE. Camera is superb, 5G speeds (only available on the 12 series) are in the 100 MB download range depending on location, and most importantly, the phone is a great phone. Plus, this was the smallest iPhone available for those like me that don't want a phablet. Highly recommended.

The best phone I've ever had. I wanted the 12 pro, but the size was concerning for me, so i ended up with the mini. I LOVE IT! Way better than my iphone 7 and the face id works every time. I recommend this phone to anyone thinking of upgrading!

Working IPhone as expected. Had issues with Data transfer but that was due to my older phones version and lack of updating it on my part. The IOS updates that have been coming out have been fixing some bugs within a week.

The small size is the primary reason this device stands out. There is not a lot compromised to achieve this compact state. Battery life does suffer but it is still enough to last a full day.

Went from a plus sized phone to the mini, weird at first but now I like the size, feels so cool and sophisticated.
