Product has hardware issues

I received this product and it has hardware issues. It will not hold my eSIM and keeps disconnecting. It tells me I need to take the phone to Apple when I do a diagnostic I contacted the seller and ask them if they can do an exchange and the seller said that I can ship the phone back, but they will not do an exchange. I had to wait to purchase a new phone so that my daughter was not left without a phone before I was able to ship the phone back, but now I am outside of the return do not buy. It is not workable phones.
