I mean it's an iPhone. Either you are iOS or Android. Obviously I am an iOS fan.

The iPhone 16 Pro is a true game-changer, seamlessly combining cutting-edge technology with an ultra-premium design. The upgraded camera system is fantastic, producing sharp, vibrant photos even in low light. The 120Hz ProMotion display is buttery smooth, making everything from scrolling to gaming feel incredibly responsive. Battery life has also been impressive, easily lasting me through a busy day with plenty of power to spare. The new A18 chip is incredibly fast, handling multitasking and intensive apps without a hitch. Plus, with its refined build, the phone feels amazing in hand—sleek and durable. Face ID is faster, and the addition of a customizable Action button is a great touch, adding more convenience. Overall, the iPhone 16 Pro lives up to the “Pro” name. For anyone considering an upgrade, it’s worth every penny, especially for those who value top-tier performance and advanced features.

It’s okay. I was forced to upgrade due to security compromise on my last phone, which I only had about 14 months. There’s nothing really more special about this phone than that one in my opinion (iPhone 14 pro max). I actually think the display size is too small for typing and things, it’s not very accessible. I downsized to this screen size because the pro max seemed overtly big (my last phone). I wish there was an in between, or they just resized both models. The new iOS is very confusing to me. Even within the settings, it seems problematic and unnecessarily confusing. I’m a millennial, so I’m on a spectrum of what knowledge I “should” have with general tech use. Next, I am a photographer and the extra photo button on the side doesn’t really do anything for me. It’s still a great camera, but it’s not better than the 14, and the extra button doesn’t make using said camera, any greater. I don’t think this phone is worth the hype overall, I only needed a new phone and it made most sense for my personal usage and financially, to get this 16 (promotions and things considered, etc). However, if you could function in today’s world without a smart phone (it’s more of a hassle to not have one now), I wouldn’t have gotten it. I tend to agree with the sentiment of what a professor once told me - in twenty years, we’ll look back on all these devices and tech upgrades like we do now with smoking. Meaning not in a good light. They just aren’t good for our well-being and how the human brain works at the core. Thus, I am a reluctant participant. And when it’s almost a requirement to have a smart phone today, Apple needs to make their products more cost effective and accessible. The average person cannot afford these phones, yet we not expected to live and function in the current world without one. Example, needing a stupid app to pay for parking. Instead of trying to constantly make the latest phone, Apple should be focused on making their current technology and products affordable for the majority of the population. I went broke getting this phone for a reason that wasn’t even my fault (faulty system or phone, somehow on the 14 one - I had never been hacked like that in my life). I shouldn’t feel I have to sell a limb to afford something everyone is now expected to have and use. I sincerely hope that twenty years thing comes sooner. One direct positive I will say, the battery life is top notch.

....not so fantastic at year 2. It is the usual Apple complaints, it over heats, it gets very hot when using for any length of time, and the stated number of hours that 1 charge gives you to watch videos - that rarely happened in the beginning and it never happens now. My battery is dead by the end of the day - I work from home, I do not use my phone much at all. All of the claims made about iPhone are true, but only at the time of purchase and ONLY if you refrain from loading any apps at all onto your phone at all. I wish they would tell you the usage details as they are with 5 -25 apps loaded, that would be the reveal the true capabilities of the phone. The only thing that has remained consistent is the color of the phone - Love this color! @Apple - come on! You can do better! We can send people into space but your telling me you cannot create a phone that does exactly what it says it is going to do, AND does it for the life of the phone?! (I know... that's how you make money but seriously - it's shady) Nov. 2026 will be 2 years of ownership and I already have to look for a different phone; this one runs so slow, gets very hot, and overall is just a PITA.

I love the look and feel and this new iphone. It fits perfectly in my pocket and is easy to hold onto. The new features and external buttons are also well thought out and easy to use.
