Coming from an iPhone 15 Pro Max, I’ve always wanted a foldable. I tried the Z Fold 8, but couldn’t get used to Android, and the cameras were disappointing. The Duo’s inner display is absolutely incredible, especially in low light. The nano -texture screen practically eliminates reflections, making the crease genuinely invisible during normal use. It’s easily my favorite thing about the phone. The speakers are great, battery life easily gets me through a full workday, and the cameras are surprisingly good. The outer display is comfortable for two\-handed typing, but one handed use is difficult, and apps like Safari and iMessage feel cramped. Third-party app optimization is also pretty disappointing right now. Some apps are just stretched out versions of their normal layouts, while others waste valuable screen space with black bars. My biggest complaint is Touch ID\. Coming from Face ID, having to find the side button, unlock, and then swipe up feels unnecessarily slow\. I actually preferred Touch ID when it was built into the Home button. The build quality is excellent, the hinge is useful for propping the phone up, and the weight doesn’t bother me. Multitasking works well when I need it, although I wish two apps could run side by side in portrait orientation\. I absolutely love the hardware, especially that incredible inner display. It’s not perfect, and I wouldn’t pay $2,000 out of pocket for it. However, AT&T gave me $1,200 for my trade-in, and at that price, I think it’s absolutely worth it.

I have been purchasing iPhones since the iPhone 3G. This is by far my favorite of them all. I loved the size of the 1st generation iPhone mini, but watching videos and consuming content was not the best with the 1st gen iPhone mini. With the iPhone Duo, I have the best of both worlds. While folded, I have a small phone I can answer phone calls and reply text with. While unfolded, I have a huge screen to consume content when needed. I am 6 feet with good sized hands. I do not have hands like Andre the Giant, but I can comfortably hold the phone folded and unfolded. The only negative I have with the phone is that not all apps are optimized for the OS. Hopefully, developers can catch up, but if they don't, I really do not care. Majority of the apps I use are already optimized. This is the best iPhone I have had since the the iPhone X.

I mean it's a phone, that folds! I've always wanted to have one but never enough to switch to Samsung with their older models. Works fine, most daily apps are updated as well. only complaint is the inner screen is quite the fingerprint magnet, can't see them when the screen is on though.
