Bought this to replace an old one that finally bit the dust. I don't play games or listen to music on my laptop or phone. My iTouch is perfect for this. I also have all my music in iTunes on it. The camera is a big plus. I can use this as a phone if I want via the Pinger app. It has so many great functions. I carry it with me all the time.

If you have every wanted to own an iPod but thought it was just to expensive, you would be talking about me. Today you can get some really good deals on an older iPod, like the 6th gen. I purchased here on Best Buy, for a great price or a 5th gen. I found on eBay. The thing thats great about the iPod is its designed to work with so many things you already own, like your surround sound, stereo or your car etc. Check out the open box deals at Best Buy, thats where I found my great deal. I have had an IPod since their beginning. When I purchased the new, a lot has changed but am relearning all it has to offer. I love the ease of importing music.

The iPod works well and I was able to put a lot of music on it immediately. It looks great and functions properly. It was very easy to set up after charging it the first time.

My babe loves it! Got it for him for his birthday. Smaller than I imagined though lol. But he loves it! Wanted to get something similar to the iPhone so it’d be easier to use.

My daughter loves this iPod. It’s perfect for her to play games on. Just the right size for her. She’s 7!

I treated my iPod touch very gently, but after 18 months, the screen began bowing away from the body of the device. This was caused by a defective battery which swelled and cause the screen to separate. Apple customer was eager for me to send it in for repairs that likely would have cost half as much as the device or more, but I declined. Out of warranty or not, Apple knows faulty batteries are an issue with this device, and they should cover the repair.

I rather use ipod touch than any other music player

My 12-year-old wanted to upgrade his iPod touch, and he was paying for it with his savings. We considered getting him an older/refurbished iPhone 5s and letting him use it like an iPod touch for a few years before "turning on" the phone capabilities, but decided by the time we're ready to get him a phone newer models will be available from Verizon for better prices (and honestly I was afraid the newest iOS in a few years wouldn't support the 5s). Plus a refurbished 8gb 5s was the same price (or more) than a new 16gb iPod touch. Anyway, he wanted to keep the smaller size (not upgrade to a mini) so this was his best bet. Since he was upgrading from another Apple product he wanted to keep the same platform, but with more memory. The iPod arrived quickly and was easy to set up out of the box and transfer his music, apps and movies. I think these devices are on the expensive side, but he did his research and got a great price on Black Friday. He is happy...and that makes me happy.

Bought this as both an upgrade for a first generation ipod and as an alternative for having satellite radio installed in new car. Wasn't happy with the location of the satellite antenna or the install process, so decided to get a new IPOD touch instead. Installed ITunes music and set up for using on my new car stereo system via Bluetooth and very satisfied with it. Haven't used many of the other features and apps available with as of yet so can't comment on those, but worth the price just for having all of our music, playlists, etc. available for those longer trips when music is a must and having the convenience of using car stereo controls and screen for playback. I realize most people use their phones in the same manner but did not want to use up most of my phones memory for that, plus with the IPOD touch I can put several thousand songs on it from our collection with a lot of room left over for additional music down the road. And, it does come with a lot of apps and features we have yet to explore or use, and is very light and thin. If you're looking for an alternative source of music for your car or just to use when jogging, walking, etc. I highly recommend it.

This replaced my old iPod touch. It is easy to use, has a good camera, and fits nicely in a purse or pocket. I like to use it to listen to music, check email, play games, and access the internet.

I have a prepay flip phone that costs me just $100 a year, so I don't need an expensive iPhone contract. With wi-fi I can get everything I need with this iPod: email, weather, stocks, maps, etc. plus camera, music, games. The bluetooth connection makes it nice for playing music in our new (Corolla) car on long trips. It was also easy to transfer everything from my old iPod to this one. Get the Otter Box to protect it.

Been awhile since I had an ipod and my Iphone 6 was getting filled up. Plus when I used the IPhone for plugging into my sound system I couldn't us it otherwise so I thought I 'd get all my music on something else. I went to the Best Buy store and looked around and decided on this one. It's nice and slim design fits easily into a pocket, it takes great pics and videos, and easy to navigate. I loaded my whole CD collection on here s well. It was little tricky getting my custom play lists and full library loaded on here via Itunes. Make sure you know how large your library is and pick the right one as far as storage space goes.
