This item is perfect if you want to use a pair of head phones that are not a Apple product with your iPhone. I like to take my own headphones on the plane. So I don’t like taking a lot of different sets of headphones. I take my pair of non Apple head phones use them on the plane then use this adapter to use with my Apple phone. It works great as if they are Apple head phones. If you use a pair of non Apple headphone that can answer a call they will work perfectly with the adapter.

Bought this headset jack to go with my iPhone XR. Did realize my iPhone didn’t have a headset jack.I don’t like earbuds and wanted to use my Beats. Bought this device and it worked perfectly. My headset works like it is in a jack that was made in the phone. Love this jack.

Sometimes I want to use my wired headphones with my phone, and with modern smartphones, an adapter like this is needed. This lets me plug in my regular wired headphones that use the typical 3.5mm plug. It comes in a compact cardboard and paper box, containing the adapter and some information booklets. The adapter plugs into my phone’s charging port and fits well, just like a charging cable. The wire is thin, close to the wired headphone cable thickness. The adapter is pretty short, but it’s enough for an adapter like this. Being an official adapter, it has a similar quality feel to the company’s other wires and plugs. I wish my phone included this, but I understand most people are moving towards wireless earbuds, so it’s a separate purchase for those that want it. Also, the headphone plugs in securely and there doesn’t feel to be any chance of it falling out accidentally. The color scheme also matches other cables, so it blends in well, visually. As for audio quality, I think it’s great and I don’t notice any difference when using the adapter. Overall, it’s a good quality adapter and I have no major complaints about it. If someone needs to use wired headphones, I would recommend getting this.

I have an L-shaped plug on the end of my corded earphones which wouldn't fit through the case on my iPad. This adapter allows me to use my earphones with my iPad via the charging port. But remember, you can't charge your iPad (or iPhone) while you are using the adapter.

Seamlessly connect your iPhone ( or other device Apple) to “old” style headphones that utilize 3.5 stereo jack ( wired) to connect to Apple’s Lighting port on iPhone. I tested it in an older iPhone 6 S and my current iPhone 10s Max and worked perfectly as you would expect an iproduct . My testing was for listening only and did not test phone calls with built in microphone on some wired headphones.

No more worrying if my Bluetooth headset is charged or not! This little gem allows me to use the same headset that I use for online meetings, and works like a champ. Live saver!

With newer iPhones not having the headphone jack, this adapter makes connecting to older speaker systems and radios a breeze. I do wish the cable part was a little thicker as it is thinner than the regular wired Apple earbuds but besides that it is very nice. The lighting to aux adapter is a little on the pricy side but is cheaper than switching to a Bluetooth based system for a radio. I’ve used it in the car and with my speaker system in my house and really like it.

Totally awesome, not fond of the AirPods since they easily fallout on me. I use Apple headphone (wired) for everything with the IPhone 14 (switched from Samsung Android). Love the adapter and it’s click to let me know I’m ready for conference calls; podcasts and easyyy listening.

Best investment. This adapter works great with my iPhone 12 mini to my Wireless FM transmitter to play music in my older model car. I ordered online for pick up. My order was ready promptly. Customer service desk was professional and friendly. Thanks Best Buy!!

All new iPhones from iPhone 7 onwards do not have a 3.5mm audio jack. If you’re iPhone has a lightning charger port, this product will allow you to still be able to use auxiliary. Perfect solution, works great.

I used it to connect iPhone to rodecaster pro using the dedicated trrs connection. Please note. The extra cord you need is a trrs to trrs with rodecaster pro. AND make sure you order a couple of those trrs cables because one of them didn’t work. However the iPhone lightning jack to 3.5 mm white worked great from Best Buy.

Works as intended, giving back the nice audio quality only wired headphones can provide. A couple of downside would be it's built quality potentially not holding up because it's pretty think cables, and it getting dirty over time.

It was just what I needed. The Apple Store did not carry them. The store clerk was super helpful and knew which one I needed for my phone model.
Does it’s job well. I plugged it into my phone that was attached my bike. I used it to connect to a speaker in my basket. After a 2 hour ride none of the bumping caused the dongle to detach or disconnect.
Versatile. Works with 3.5mm wired earbuds as well as 3.5mm aux cords. Small, compact, light and unintrusive.
