Bought this Mac Studio M2 Max for my new home computer. Runs like a dream! Easy to set up, lightning quick, virtually no noise. Primary uses for me: work (Figma, Adobe, 3D modeling) and some light gaming on the side for select games that run natively. If you're hoping to play the latest games with very good performance, I'd recommend a console or gaming PC instead. For the money, you'd get more bang for your buck. For a workhorse machine in a home office, this can't be beat.

Im a tech savvy senior so always looking for a seamless product integration experience. The M2 Studio is an impressive plug and play solution for my home studio setup! Setup is as easy as plug and play any external devices, sync the mouse and keypad and I was up and running in about 15 mins. This setup replaces a 5 year old Macbook running an external hub. The improvements are significant but I would expect that but I am still impressed!

Love everything about this Mac Studio. I bought it right before starting a graphic design course and it’s been great!! Runs smoothly and quickly. I paired it with an LG screen and it’s been amazing. Pricey but worth it

“I recently purchased the Apple Mac Studio with the M2 Max chip and 512GB from Best Buy, and it’s truly a powerhouse. For the price, the performance is outstanding—I’m able to handle heavy video editing, 3D rendering, and multitasking with ease. The build quality is premium, and I love the compact design. If you’re a creative professional or just someone who needs top-tier performance, it’s a solid investment. I would say it’s worth every cent!”

been very happy with this machine so far. Performs very well, quiet. I wanted something that stayed plugged in all day/every day which is not good for laptop batteries.

I bought this Mac Studio because I owned and M1 Mac mini with only 8 gig of ram and I was using more Orchestral libraries and the M1 was not cutting it, however the new Mac Studio M2 Max has 32 Gig of memory and dose not miss a beat, even when loaded with 60 or more tracks of orchestral software. I Love it

I decided to buy this computer from Best Buy because of the financing options, which were better than any others I could find. The Max Studio is a great addition to my home studio, and much more capable for music production than the M1 Mac Mini I had been using.

OK, my desk isn't so clean, and that's only a portion. Hard to make out that Mac Studio hiding in there. I'm a retired media producer who still does a little Creative Suite work for a micro-business plus endless finances. Despite reviews from many sources, based on PC and M1 Pro MacBook experience (it's great for day to day, 16 GB RAM, but is maxed out, no pun intended)--I prefer a dedicated machine for my music hobby--that will also have videos. The lease purchase through Citizen's at Best Busy made this possible. I'll still be configuring it for a month--I use some massive instruments using deep sampling, plus other original and replicated VSTs that ARE coded for Mac Silicon--not just running under Rosetta. I got the base model, and have a sole 4 TB SSD to start, but will move another over for project files & finished work. I'll start on my fifth CD release this fall. Thank you Best Buy & Citizens. More than I need? Perhaps. I don't use Logic Pro--favoring both an ancient DAW and a little known Mac Silicon native one. But better too much than too little. Reading the video export review specs on this beast are impressive.

I'm a graphic artist and my Mac Studio is replacing my Mac Pro trash can model. So far it has handled everything, I do in Photoshop and Illustrator better and faster than my Mac Pro did

This small Apple computer is very powerful despite its tiny size, saving a lot of desk space while also performing like a much larger machine.

So far so good, however, I haven't started editing videos just yet. It works as expected but I will say the initial set-up process was a nightmare. Make sure you have a wired keyboard AND wired mouse otherwise you'll be on the phone with Apple like I was....Once you have those things the set up was fine, but it would be nice to have a disclaimer on the box or something. They don't even sell wired keyboards at Best Buy anymore and who wants to buy something they don't need just to set up a computer? Perhaps some instructions in the box would be helpful!
Best experience ever even found my heart of the studio
