So far this is a powerhouse of a computer. I plan on testing it against the M4Max, but the M3Ultra definitely feels much beefier than my M1Max MBP. So far the single core performance is not noticeably slow, but time will tell if the M4Max pulls dramatically ahead. I think if you need a lot of GPU horsepower this is going to be the Mac to get. After doing a lot of research this stock binned M3Ultra seemed to be the best value to performance.

If u upgrade the specs for memory on the m4 max u get 3499 so why not go with the m3 ultra the faster multicore chip n get upgraded ports n heatsink

The absolute PEAK of content creation/multitasking. As an editor, I've churned and burned many PCs. I'm not even a die-hard Apple person, but using the Adobe suite requires so much patience (unfortunately). Every PC I've used constantly disagrees with Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop/Blender, costing me time and money. Since I've purchased this bad boy, I've had zero issues, exports and FAST and can handle a ton of effects all at once. Never going back.

Great for DaVincci Resolve, Photo editing and sound editing.

Works great so far. Hopefully will do what I need it to do.
