A great laptop with exceptional battery life, perfect for school, work and productivity. When paired with Apple ecosystem it seamlessly enters your daily life. Lightweight and really easy to carry around all day at work or campus, at a desk or on the bed. The MacBook Air does everything with ease, no fan noise and a long lasting battery. The base Air model with 16GB of RAM is enough for everything you'd need, upgrade to a 24GB of RAM will get you slightly more cores for performances, but for most people 16GB is enough. Screen is 60Hz and less bright compared to the Pro, so more glares outdoors, but in moderate sunlight it's not a big issue. I debated getting the Air vs the Pro, and for me having 0.7 extra pounds to be carrying around everywhere doesn't bring freedom of choosing your workspace, which is important for me. I suggest picking up a Air vs Pro at a store, to see if you can imagine yourself using it everywhere, everyday. My daily usage includes research on chromes(20+ tabs), google meetings and working on coding IDEs, remote desktop and watching videos/movies. No complaints for multitasking purposes. Although if you are doing heavier workloads like 4k editing or software engineering, consider the MacBook Pro because thermal throttling WILL slow down your work. I also do some light gaming on the MacBook Air as well. For cloud gaming the wifi on these laptop will give you stable enough connection to play cloud. Natively the Air will almost heats up for every newer games out there like Cyberpunk 2077, but you won't be getting a MacBook for gaming purposes. TL;DR: If you need a productivity laptop with the best battery life(and trackpad) with no fan noise, for school, work and daily use, get the Air. 24GB for those who knows what they need it for, 16GB for the average user.

MacBook Air M4 is incredibly fast, silent, and lightweight. The M4 chip handles everyday tasks and multitasking effortlessly, while the battery easily lasts a full day. The display is sharp, the keyboard and trackpad are excellent, and macOS feels smooth and well-optimized. Limited ports aside, it’s a perfect laptop for work, study, and travel.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the MacBook Air M4 13-inch. I traded in my aging M2 Mac Studio because I wanted something more portable, and I felt I was no longer fully taking advantage of the Studio’s extra power. After watching a lot of YouTube reviews and reading multiple articles suggesting the Air was just as fast, or in some cases faster, I decided to make the switch. For everyday tasks like Office apps, web browsing, and general productivity, the MacBook Air M4 performs very well and feels comparable in most situations. Where I noticed the difference was under heavier workloads, especially video editing in Premiere Pro and music production in Logic Pro. In those scenarios, the laptop begins to thermal throttle fairly quickly, and the drop in sustained performance becomes noticeable. That said, it is not a deal breaker for me. Most of my daily work happens in Office and browser-based tools, so for the majority of my use, it handles everything just fine. What I truly appreciate is the portability, light weight, and strong battery life. Being able to take my work and personal projects anywhere is a major advantage. I will likely upgrade to a MacBook Pro or newer Mac Studio in the future as my video and audio workloads increase. For now, though, the MacBook Air M4 gets the job done, even if it is sometimes a few seconds slower than my M2 Studio was under more demanding creative tasks.

The new m4 MacBook Air is truly a powerhouse, just about anything you throw at it, it’ll handle with ease. Perfect for photo editing, and with the 24GB’s in RAM it’ll handle an immense amount of multi-tasking. For such a thin computer, and this thing is thin (wow), it never over heats, is never loud, and is as portable as your personal mobile device. The only drawback is the lack of available ports, but I suppose that’s the sacrifice you make for the compact and discreet design. I mean when you think about it your iPhone or your IPad has only one, the natural step-up for this form factor would be to have 2, and of course slightly more for a pro model. The MagSafe charger is a wonder, and I’m beginning to wonder why other computer manufacturers haven’t begun to adopt similar designs. For heavy AI workloads or for complex video editing consider a MacBook Pro model as the GPU on the air only runs 10cores, and the m4 pro runs 16-20, (even more for M4 max). As always though Apple maintains its place as the number one producer of not only the most powerful tech but also the most consumer friendly and usable products. This is a must have, and if you’ve been on the fence for awhile about making the switch from Windows to Mac OS this is the time to do so with this product as your entry point.

The MacBook Air 13-inch with the M4 chip is excellent. It is fast, lightweight, and very easy to use every day. The 24GB of memory makes multitasking smooth, even with several apps and browser tabs open. The display looks sharp, the battery life is impressive, and the 512GB SSD is fast and practical for my files and applications. I also like the Midnight color because it gives the laptop a clean and premium look. Overall, this is a great laptop for work, study, travel, and everyday productivity.

As someone with a background in tech and design, I’m beyond impressed with the new M4 MacBook Air. The performance jump is noticeable, everything from Adobe apps to multitasking between design tools and office software runs effortlessly. The 24GB of unified memory handles heavy workloads without slowdown, and the 512GB SSD keeps everything quick and responsive. The Sky Blue finish is beautiful in person, sleek, modern, and a refreshing change from the usual tones. As a college student, I really appreciate how lightweight it is. I can carry it around campus all day without it weighing down my school bag, which makes a huge difference during long days of classes and study sessions. Battery life is incredible too, easily lasting me through a full day of work and coursework. It’s the perfect mix of portability and power, Apple really got this one right.

Fast, spacious and light. Switching from a MacBook Pro to MacBook Air was a great decision. Processing speed is super fast compared to my old machine. Lightweight makes it super portable. I can’t take this to the park, throw in my bag for work, or leave it in my office. Power cord great length and textured for durability. Drawback is that it only has 2 usb c ports (and on the same side), I feel Apple could have increased this number and diversified the type to bridge this new tech with older tech accessories but I guess that’s why they make adapters. I was worried about the smaller screen but I can’t tell the difference and the smaller size makes it more likely to fit in a variety of bags. No issues with best buy as a seller, highly recommend open-box purchases. High quality products at discount prices.

I'll be keeping this until the wheels fall off, so to speak. The perfect balance between power and portability. The single core Geekbench 6 on this is only a couple of hundred points behind an equally configured M4 Mac Mini (24GB/512GB/10-Core GPU). And without a fan to get clogged up with pooch. The battery life is just insane, especially when you put it in low power mode when you're on battery on the go. I took another chance and got this as Open Box Excellent at a huge discount, and for the first time ever, Best Buy was right on the money with it. Brand New, 2 Battery Cycles and not a single scratch or scuff, with 10 months warranty remaining with an option to extend with Apple Care Plus +. I would most certainly recommend

It's the all time best laptop Apple has ever made. It will easily last me the next 5 years. I am upgrading from a Macbook Pro 16 inch from 2021 (see photo for size difference) and its life changing for me. This particular model only has 3 differences with the Macbook Pro. It's 60hz instead of 120hz - this won't matter to most of us, and if you dock your laptop to a screen, you won't even know. The speakers are noticeably not as good as a Macbook Pro, but if you are airpod driven this isn't going to matter. And lastly, it is noticeably lighter and thinner than a MacBook Pro. Ipad Pro 11inch with magic keyboard is heavier. It has the same horsepower as the Pro, but only passive cooling. This won't really matter for all of us here.

I’ve never used a MacBook before but this was my first one. The setup and learning process was quite easy and I got it at a great price too! The laptop itself is so well built and handles everyday simple tasks with ease. I use this as my secondary laptop for simple tasks and more heavy tasks I have another laptop for that. This is the perfect size and weight too. Love the design and functionality. I’m in college and this is perfect to carry around in my bag. I’d definitely recommend this to any college goer that isn’t doing super intensive heavy tasks like design software or lots of editing etc. It is solid machine for a solid price.

[Employee of bestbuy] I've never thought I was ever going to get a MacBook as I was always a Windows User. However, since I've been working IT Support for Harvard University, many of my end users are on MacBooks, and after working on them and setting up dozens, I really enjoyed the macOS. So, it was time for me to get myself one and I wasn't disappointed at all. The M4 chip is amazing. Since it has more power than the M3 chip, it can thermal throttle easier, but this won't be an issue for the average user. Upon setup, I made sure my macOS was updated to the latest macOS Sequoira 15.3.2 and double-checked the battery cycle which was 2. This is normal because factory testing is needed for quality purposes, so do not be alarmed. I already use about 16-17GBs of RAM daily so the 24GBs of RAM is a must-have for my use (ServiceNow, Outlook, multiple different IT tabs, Garageband, etc). I appreciate that with the M4 MacBook Air, you can extend to two monitors NOW with the internal display open versus the M3 MacBook Air where you need the internal display closed. Sadly, I did chip the corner of my paint because a water bottle knocked it a bit. I bought my MacBook Air for about $1,200 versus the original $1,399 because I had plenty of reward points earned using my MyBestBuy Via Credit card and with my plus membership, it gave me another $50 off which was sweet. I also financed it interest-free for the next two years.

I use my MacBook as my main work laptop as a nurse, and it has been excellent. It handles our EMR systems smoothly with no lagging, even when I’m multitasking or running several applications at once. The performance is reliable, the battery lasts through long shifts, and the overall build quality feels solid. For anyone in healthcare who needs a dependable laptop that keeps up with charting, documentation, and daily workflow, this MacBook has definitely been worth it.

My review is five stars however that’s for Best Buy’s excellent customer service regarding this purchase I bought the 13 inch MacBook Air and took it home and quickly realized it was a little bit too tiny for me. I’m coming off at 15 inch MacBook Pro. After trying it out for a couple days I called Best Buy and asked if I could exchange my MacBook Air from a 13 inch to 15 inch MacBook Air. They allow me to return the computer. They did not charge me a restocking fee. And they swap my AppleCare from the 13 inch model to the 15 inch model without a glitch. It was an excellent experience and I think Best Buy for its customer service policies. You guys were great so that’s my review on the 13th MacBook Air I think it’s a nice computer but it’s a bit small the screen I think compare compared to the 15 inch model which is superior by far. I have that 24 GB RAM and 512 SSD. 13 inch models are great however, when you have a 15 inch model in front of you it just makes everything look better. The screen resolution is much better than the 13 inch model and I’m very happy with my purchase in the return and exchange thank you very much for selling me your computer. I got a great deal from you guys even better than Amazon prime day you guys have the best price so thank you. Will buy another Mac from you guys again I promise anyway that’s my review. I’m not sure if you guys wanna post it or not but thanks for everything. Five stars

Bought this MacBook Air to replace my older MacBook Pro 2018 model. So far it’s been great, battery life is really good and performance is very snappy. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

Love it! Nice and slim, and it isn't too heavy. I use it for recreational stuff, so I don't know if it operates well under heavy use, but it's perfect for what I use it for!

Super light, super fast, this is next level compared to the 2015 model that I upgraded from. You cant hear the fans. Work very well. I just dont like that there are no standard USB outlets and the laptop doesnt come with a converter.
