Customer Ratings & Reviews

The Apple MacBook Air M5 is honestly one of the best laptops Apple has made for everyday users and students. The new M5 chip feels extremely fast whether you’re multitasking, editing photos/videos, gaming casually, or just browsing with a bunch of tabs open. Apps launch instantly, and the laptop stays smooth even under heavier workloads. One of the biggest highlights is the battery life. You can easily get through an entire day without needing to charge it, which makes it perfect for school, work, or traveling. The fanless design also means it stays completely silent while using it. The display is sharp and vibrant, speakers sound surprisingly good, and the lightweight design makes it super easy to carry around. Apple also improved overall efficiency, so the laptop stays cool while still performing really well. The only downside is the price, especially if you upgrade the storage or RAM. Also, if you need lots of ports, you may still need adapters. Overall, the MacBook Air M5 is an amazing choice for people who want a thin, powerful, and reliable laptop that can handle almost anything without feeling bulky or complicated.

I’ve used Windows laptops for years, but the Apple MacBook Air genuinely changed my opinion about what a laptop should feel like. What surprised me most wasn’t just the speed — it’s how effortless everything feels. I can switch between meetings, coding, browsing, streaming, and editing without hearing fan noise or worrying about charging constantly. The battery life honestly feels unreal. I charged it before a full day outside and came back home with battery still left. The lightweight design makes it perfect to carry everywhere, especially for students or people constantly on the move. The display is sharp, colors look beautiful, and even small things like the keyboard and trackpad feel premium. I bought mine from Best Buy and the whole experience was smooth from ordering to pickup. This is one of those purchases where after using it for a few days, you genuinely feel like it was worth every dollar.

I’ve been really happy with my MacBook Air. It’s fast, lightweight, and easy to take with me wherever I go. The battery life is excellent, and it handles everyday tasks like schoolwork, browsing, streaming, and multitasking without any issues. I also really like the display and how quiet the laptop is since there’s no fan noise. The build quality feels premium, and macOS is smooth and easy to use.

love he laptop it has been great to work on and use it for beneficial purposes. very fast very slim and battery that last. love how quiet it is and its slick designs. I am new to the Mac life so had to learn the few shortcuts compared to windows but overall amazing machine here.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this MacBook deserves one. The Sky Blue color is beautiful! It looks clean, modern, and even better in person than it does online. Performance wise, it’s been amazing. Everything opens quickly, it doesn’t get loud or hot, and the battery life has been great. It just makes everything feel easier. I was actually worried about switching to a Mac for a bit, but I got used to it so quickly, it’s now something I enjoy using just about everyday!

I recently upgraded to the new MacBook Air and the difference is night and day. Moving from my older model to this one feels like a massive leap forward. The M5 chip is incredibly snappy, making my daily workflow feel effortless, and the Sky Blue finish is absolutely gorgeous in person. The battery life has been a game-changer for me, I can finally leave my charger at home. If you're looking to upgrade, this is the perfect time; it's the best balance of portability and power I've ever experienced.

My wife upgraded from her older MacBook Pro and was a little hesitant about switching to a MacBook Air. After using it, she couldn’t be happier. It’s incredibly fast, lightweight, and the battery life is amazing. The M5 chip is a huge upgrade, and it handles everything she needs with ease. We’re very happy with this purchase.

It’s a great combination of performance and design—definitely a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a reliable machine.

This is the best portable machine I’ve owned. The 512GB SSD is fast and provides plenty of storage, while the battery life easily gets me through a full day of heavy use. It’s incredibly thin and light, making it perfect for working from anywhere without sacrificing performance.

This is my first MacBook ever, and it has not disappointed! I got the Sky Blue 13” MacBook Air M5, and this MacBook is a beast. I am able to do all of your normal browsing and productivity tasks, while also doing heavy computing for school. I’ve barely scratched the surface for what this machine can do, and I am excited to learn more. I was hesitant about going this over the new MacBook Neo, but I’m happy with my choice. I know this MacBook will last me a good chunk of time! Zeke

My prior machine was an 16" M1 MacBook Pro, but this air does not feel like a downgrade. It’s way faster, lighter, and portable. I did not need all the computing power the M1 MacBook Pro once had, and I never liked how big, clunky, and heavy it was. This Air is much more usable, is somewhat more future proof compared to something like the Neo, and it takes up less space. Plus the color (sky blue) is fantastic. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Works great does everything I need very fast and great battery life

This is my first Mac and it is far superior to any laptop I have ever owned. As well as fantastic looking, the performance beats out HP and Dell hands down. I loved it so much that I went back and bought my first Apple Watch Signed, Future Lifetime Mac owner!

I didn’t expect a laptop to make me feel this way, but the Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (M5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) truly surprised me. From the moment I opened the box, the Sky Blue color caught my attention — it feels calm, clean, and honestly a little inspiring. It’s not just a device, it feels like something you want to use every day. As someone who works long hours and also studies, I needed something reliable. This MacBook has made my daily life easier in ways I didn’t expect. It’s fast, smooth, and never feels like it’s struggling — even when I have many things open at once. That gives me peace of mind, especially on busy days. What I love the most is how effortless everything feels. No noise, no overheating, no stress. I can sit anywhere — at home, at work, or outside — and just focus on what I need to do. The battery lasting all day means I don’t have to keep worrying about finding a charger, which sounds small but actually makes a big difference. It’s also incredibly light, and I carry it with me everywhere now. It feels like a part of my routine, not a burden. To me, this isn’t just a laptop — it’s something that supports my goals, my work, and my everyday life. That’s why I’m genuinely happy I chose it.

The 13-inch MacBook Air M5, even with 16gb of ram, can have dozens of Safari tabs open at once along with other programs running in the background. It’s also very thin and light, making it super portable and easy on the back and arms if you’re carrying in a backpack or your hands. This MacBook also has a crazyyy long battery life, I’ve never needed to charge it even after 8-9 hr school days, and it stays above 50%! If you’re looking for a powerful, extremely portable, long-lasting laptop, then you can’t go wrong with this MacBook Air!

I planned to travel in a few weeks as a patient advocate to the ASCO meeting at McCormick Place in Chiago. This involved full days of walking between sessions. The size, weight and battery life of the 17" mobile workstation I used for development and execution of medical imaging and radiation oncology software wouldn't work for the meeting. While my professional work was done in Windows, I carry an iPhone - so I decided to try living in the Apple computing ecosystem (there was also a $150 price break for this system). I loaded up my productivity apps and with a little tutoring from AI to learn MacOS navigation, tricks and shortcuts, I came to appreciate the functionality, ease of use and tight integration with my phone. I was impressed enough to purchase a USB Hub to connect monitor, keyboard, web cam and microphone. I plugged in my speaker in using the 3.5 mm jack and I started using my little MacBook Air as my daily machine to further acquaint myself with the system. This little system also powered a fully capable and performant desktop environment for every day tasks. Simply unplug the USB hub and speaker connections and I could move to my recliner. It was also, as I had hoped, the perfect travel system for my meeting - small, light and functional with plenty of battery life and tightly coupled to my phone. I also bought a pair of noise canceling headphones and thoroughly enjoyed watching the inflight entertainment on its crisp screen (a step up from holding my iPhone). Now that I'm home, I'm still using the Air as my daily work system until I have need of my 17" mobile workstation's horsepower or development environment.

I’m really happy with my MacBook Air. It has a beautiful design, is lightweight and easy to carry, and the performance is excellent. The M5 chip makes everything feel fast and smooth, whether I’m doing schoolwork, browsing the internet, watching videos, or working with multiple applications at once. The 16GB memory and 512GB SSD give me plenty of storage and make multitasking very easy. I also really like the display quality, keyboard, and long battery life. The Sky Blue color looks beautiful and gives the laptop a premium feel. Overall, this is a great laptop for students and everyday use. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, portable, and reliable laptop.

This new 2026 Apple Macbook Air M5 is a true powerhouse. I have always ever only used Macbook Pro's due to always needing the added power for my Music Production and DAW needs. I opted this time to test drive the Macbook Air M5 due to some of the information and reviews I read online from various sources. All of the reviews were basically the same stating in one way or another that this particular Macbook Air was more akin to a Macbook Pro labeled as an Air. Well, I can confirm that the reviews are accurate. This M5 Macbook Air runs everything without a hiccup very much like my old Macbook Pro M1 used to. However unlike my M1 Pro, the M5 Air is handling everything with even better speed and does not demonstrate any lagging or system bog down at all when running multiple applications simultaneously. I am thoroughly pleased and impressed with the Apple Macbook Air M5.
