I have had my Apple MacBook Air 15 inch laptop M3 for just over a year. This has been a perfect laptop experience as I use it mainly for college. The 15.3 inch screen provides excellent screen space for multitasking. Battery life & performance has been surprisingly amazing. Runs cool & quiet! Love the elegant, sleek, lightweight weight design which is a perfect fit for my backpacking around campus. My Best Buy purchase experience was exceptional with attentive & knowledgeable staff to answer my questions and help me pick the right MacBook to fit my needs. It was a completely smooth process to go in and pick up my laptop that they had programmed and set up for me. Very pleased with customer service! Definitely recommend Best Buy for MacBook purchasing, especially for the setups, warranty and ongoing tech support.

The MacBook Air M3 is fast, lightweight, and very easy to use. The screen is bright, the battery lasts almost all day, and it runs smoothly even with many apps open. It’s quiet, reliable, and perfect for everyday work, school, and streaming. I’m very happy with it and highly recommend it.

I’ve been using the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best laptops Apple has ever made. I purchased the 15-inch MacBook Air from Best Buy last month, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This model strikes a perfect balance between performance, design, and portability. The larger 15-inch Liquid Retina display is a game-changer—vibrant colors, sharp details, and ample screen real estate make multitasking and media consumption incredibly immersive. Despite its size, the laptop remains incredibly lightweight and easy to carry around, thanks to its iconic thin design. Powered by Apple’s M2 chip, the performance is outstanding. Whether I’m working on multiple tabs, streaming high-definition videos, or running demanding applications, the MacBook Air handles it all seamlessly. Battery life is phenomenal, lasting a full day with ease, which is perfect for long study sessions or workdays. The keyboard and trackpad maintain Apple’s industry-leading standards, offering a comfortable and responsive experience. This is a great machine for overall use. It has far more power than needed for most everyday tasks and can even handle some Python development with no issues. I have not tried compiling any large projects, but I suspect it could hold its own against your higher-end Windows laptops. It is much faster with Python than the new Windows CoPilot+ machine I had for a couple weeks before going back to Mac. I like the 15" over the 13" (I had the 13" MacBook Pro for work and the display was just too small when using it as a laptop and not connected to my other monitors). Web Browsing: I have had no issues. It is more than sufficient for browsing/working in web-apps. Local Apps: Again, no issues with MS Office apps and PyCharm for my personal activities. Weight: The claimed weight is the same as the Windows CoPilot+ machine I tried, but for some reason it feels heavier. The Windows machine was even a 16" with an OLED screen (beautiful screen on that Samsung device). Still, easy to carry around. Power: The battery on this is great! I have not "tested" it, but I have used it away from power for several hours and it maintains the state of charge very well while sleeping. The charging "brick" seems a bit small, but since it sips power when doing basic tasks, I suspect that won't be an issue in the long run. Display: MacBooks have had great displays for years and this one is no exception, it looks great. Not much else to say other than I wish Apple would provide the same great display with a touchscreen as I think Samsung has been able to do this well.

Pros: I love the screen size! Coming from 13”, the 15” screen is definite and noticeable upgrade in screen real estate. The midnight blue color is gorgeous. Seriously, gorgeous. It looks like a deep navy blue in most lighting, and like a dark hunter green in incandescent light. Under office lighting, it looks like a greeny-blue gunmetal color. The resolution of the retina screen is unmatched. No pixels here. IMO, this is 50% why you buy a mac. The keyboard feels good, if not slightly cramped, but I’m normally using the Ergo split desktop keyboard so this might be just me. The computer itself runs efficiently in every aspect. It’s fast, it has no problem with overheating, it handles multiple tasks or multiple tabs in your browser without issue. Cons: Last night it refused to accept the correct login password for any of the user accounts becaues the accepted password was 1 character longer than the input box. Be careful with this. It’s a software problem rather than a hardware problem. I tried to shut it down and it flashed half a pink screen at me before doing so. Eventually, it let me in after several more restarts I don’t now why. I’m not sure if I need to exchange this exact computer or it was a one time issue. I changed the passwords to something shorter, but the pink screen flash is concerning. Midnight black is known for smudging and fingerprinting. So far, I’ve had zero issue. If it becomes a problem, I’ll exchange it for a different color. I wish they sold this model in the space black. The speakers are on the back of the lower half, near the hinge. This results in a sort of muddy sound that I don’t recommend if you’re listening to music. You’re better off connecting to a bluetooth speaker like the JBL portable speakers or something similar. It’s heavier than I expected and not featherlight like the 13” Macbook air M1. I hope that in future macs, they can make the notch at the top smaller and not as wide. You can see in the photo that it takes up quite a bit of space, and it’s going to take up space if you're in full screen watching a movie. Dimming the keyboard backlight is no longer available via the keyboard itself, and must be done with a mouse click under the control center on the upper right. Battery life is not as great as I expected. It’s down to 35% after ~10.5 hours of use. This sounds like a lot, but the hopeful part of me wishes for 3 days of usage out of one charge. It looks like the battery will need recharging from zero at around 12 hours of usage. Neutral: If screen real estate is your top priority and you have extra money, I’d spend $350 more to get the 16” pro M3 while on sale. The 15” Air is not a “travel” laptop. This thing is big, so much bigger than the 13”. 2” is the size difference, but it feels like a lot more. I wouldn’t get this as a laptop to put in your backpack and walk around college with it. Ram and storage: I read recently that 16 gbs is the new benchmark for the minimum amount of ram anyone needs with upcoming technology. Since the ram is soldered to the logic board, you cannot upgrade it in the future. Get enough ram to future proof your laptop and ensure this will still be usable in up to 5 years. It’s doubtful 8 gbs will be sufficient if you want to do more than just web browsing on your computer. The storage size of the hard drive is less relevant if you plan to use an external drive and store your files there, connecting it to your computer with a cord. If you don’t plan to do that, 256 gbs is good for minimal to low moderate photo storage and few to no extra programs and software. Anything greater than these parameters means you should go with 500 gbs, again, to future proof your computer. You can’t upgrade the storage space later. One last positive: I like that I can place a setting where a finger tap anywhere on the trackpad = a click. Using just the designated space along the bottom of the trackpad to click with your thumb makes the click feel difficult and awkward to press.

Went from a 2019 16" Intel MacBook Pro to this. I thought I would miss some of the 'Pro' features but no way. This thing is fast. Screen looks great. Speakers are good too, not much real world difference when watching videos and listening to music (unless I had the other computer and did a comparison test). Programs load significantly faster than on my Pro. So far has been able to run all my workflow from the 2019 Pro just fine. Battery lasts for days, yes, days. Incredible. Much thinner and lighter than my 2019 MacBook Pro and runs silent, no more fan noise!

This machine’s been a solid upgrade. Performance is snappy—even with a bunch of tabs open, some dev tools running, and a couple apps in the background, it doesn’t flinch. The battery life is legit, easily gets me through a most of the day without hunting for an outlet. The display’s sharp, colors pop, and the overall build is sleek but sturdy. The keyboard and trackpad feel super responsive, and the whole thing runs cool and quiet thanks to the Apple M-series chips. It's also lightweight enough to toss in a bag and go, which is great for working on the move. I even bought an Incase hard shell case to protect it (which I strongly recommend).

I recently purchased the MacBook Air 15", 16GB Memory and 512 SSD. It is my first time using MacBook, and it has been an incredible experince so far. I like the large screen as it provides ample space for multitasking. The performance is outstanding, thanks to M3 chip. Apps runs smoothly. The battery life is another highlight. I'm getting through an entire day of work without needing to recharge. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium and high performance laptop.

The M3 15 inch air is an upgrade for me from an M1 13 inch air. I was a bit concerned the size of the 15 inch might be awkward to work with as I sometimes work at my desk, sometimes on the couch on my lap, and sometimes in bed on my lap! But I have been pleasantly surprised that it does not feel too big at all! I really like having the expanded screen space. The M1 8GB (bought in 2020), was and still is a workhorse. I still use that one when I travel somewhere only because I don’t want to risk taking the new one. I bought the M3 air because the M1 air did not have enough room to run all the apps I need to run simultaneously (Zoom, PhotoShop, Chrome, Slack, etc). The M3 is sweet! I am loving the speed and it runs all my apps smoothly. The camera is also an upgrade for Zoom meetings. I work full time, fully remote, so Zoom meetings are essential. I was also concerned that there is not the slight tilt on this model. It’s completely flat. After using it for a few weeks, I find it to be a non-issue. It does get a few more fingerprints on the midnight blue than on my M1 silver model, but Apple has improved that issue with the midnight color. I am not noticing too many fingerprints, so that is not a bother. I love the midnight blue color. Overall I am thrilled with this model. The extra screen space, the speed, the memory. An excellent choice and glad I took the leap.

I bought my last MacBook in February '18 (MacBook Air - 13.3" - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 128GB Flash Storage) & it was much better than what I'd had at the time (early generation Acer touchscreen foldable laptop). My MacBook was good up until this point, but the M3 chip is *so* much faster than the Intel processor. I teach kids to code using online platforms and it would take almost all of my processing power to keep that up + Zoom + class Chrome tabs. Now, I can have *quite literally* as many tabs or programs open as I need without worrying how long it will take for everything to load. I planned on getting the 14" MacBook Pro in Space Black (M3 Pro chip), but after seeing the 15" Air in the Midnight color in Best Buy's store, I liked the bigger screen and the color more. I ended up getting an open box deal (in excellent condition). The MagSafe charger is excellent, the battery life lasts forever, the screen is so big & clear, the charging block comes with an extra USB-C port, and the MacBook can also be charged using the regular USB-C ports on the side. So convenient! The only things I notice that are different between my 2018 MacBook Air and this model are: no keyboard brightness buttons in the top row of the keyboard (I had to add it to my control center), and the speakers aren't on the sides of the keyboard anymore (they're in the crevice where the top & bottom parts of the laptop meet which makes it sound hollowed out sometimes, but it's not a dealbreaker). Overall, I don't plan on upgrading again for at least another 5 years, and I expect it to hold up well as my last MacBook Air did. Definitely would recommend it! (pictured w/ a case on it)

It is very good. I was skeptical at first given I've never had a macbook before. But it exceeded expectations. First. Design is flawless, very resilient to scratches, and the dents you get are barely visible if any. The polish and material is very high quality and almost space like. Hence, space gray lol. Having a macbook has been refreshing and I recommend it for on the go. It's lightweight and not to small or big. I got the 16g and it is perfect for my casual use/online video watching. Sometimes I get lag but it isn't anything concerning. The 512g storage is wonderful and I barely have used it. Overall this is a perfect laptop and I have nothing bad to say other than I wish it was 120 hz display and touchscreen but. There's NO FAN FOR THIS BEAST. Which is the real reason I got it so. Trade off I guess.

My first MacBook and I decided to get the Air model and not splurge on the newest chip. The MacBook costs and locked in feature options is not what I was accustomed to from my years of running Windows, so there was that transition as well. However, after switching over, I find this MacBook to be my road warrior choice because it is very light, and I typically only have to charge it every couple of days while working on emails, documentation, remote support calls, and Microsoft 365 apps. Compared to my office laptop, this thing just goes and goes so I dont have to huddle up to power outlets at remote sites, conferences, and airports

When I bought my MacBook, Best Buy staff were extremely helpful with the information and specs for the MacBook, and the leasing to buy process. I was also offered deals and promotions for my MacBook from the very start of checkout. I started leasing to own this MacBook Air M3 almost 2 months ago. This thing is the most incredible laptop I’ve used so far! Not to mention that it’s the first MacBook I’ve ever used. I’ve had HP’s, Dell’s, Chromebooks before, and they were nothing like the experience I’ve gotten with the MacBook I’m using today. The 512 gb version gives you a ton of storage to use for your files. The 16 gb of ram, arguably the norm for today’s laptops, runs smoothly, with perfect precision, and speed. I love this MacBook and all of its amazing features. I hope to be able to continue using MacBooks, as they’re so much easier for me to use for work and school than a windows laptop was. The only downside is the dark color of the Midnight MacBook Air. The fingerprints are evident on both the inside and outside of the MacBook, plus the keyboard keeps leaving an imprint of itself on my screen. The 35W charging brick that it came with was so slow, it took 4 hours to charge to full. I ended up buying a 96W charging brick that charged the MacBook Air to full in an hour and a half (Both times from about 5% battery left). It also lacks an HDMI port, which I had to buy a separate $35 HDMI to USB-C cable to connect my MacBook to one monitor at 4K resolution. The battery life also lasts pretty long compared to most other computers and laptops that are everyday use. I can’t say the same for gaming laptops, since they’re pretty much optimized to last longer than everyday use ones. Other than that, short answer is, I’m satisfied with the quality of my purchase! Need I say more?

I love this laptop. It is super fast and powerful - for my needs as a software developer. Previously, I had the 13" M1 Macbook Air, and it was too weak to handle professional software engineering tasks. However, this model does the job great. I wouldn't say that it is as powerful as a Macbook Pro wi/32Gb of RAM, but for the price it gets the job done. I love the 15" screen size too, as it lets me see all my coding and software programs laid out in a visible fashion. Lastly, the laptop looks really cool in midnight blue, and is easy to carry around as it is light and thin!

I am write review after using this laptop for couple of months. First thing i recommended to get the 15 inch and 16 Gb model. This laptop extremely efficient and very good for the people who want to have long battery life and don't do very intensive task like Development. For developer on frontend side it is good and it can run your emulation software without any issue. You quickly run into problem when you have to do backend. You have jump through hoops to configure the framework if it support by it. I still feel this laptop is not for the full stack developer and they are good with having intel based mac if they don't want to worry about compatibility.

I am upgrading from basically a run-of-the-mill Lenovo and an old mid-2010 iMac I had all the way up to this time, which by the way does still run. So essentially I haven't had a really decent laptop for over a decade or so since I've been using my work laptop for general surfing and then just using my phone most of the time. Laptop is above and beyond design, quality and functionality. It feels so smooth and amazing to use. I highly recommend this laptop. It looks so good. It's downright sexy. The functionality is excellent. This is coming from someone who also is locked into the Google/pixel landscape. I have a pixel 10 Pro and using everything along with the Apple stuff is a breeze. I still use my Google photos and drive account and I just upload stuff to that.

Runs very fast! Good screen quality and works amazing for school. Upgraded from a 2018 MacBook Pro and the difference is insane. The battery lasts long enough that I only have to charge it at night and I can use it all day for intensive tasks.

Never have had a Mac, but after talking to an employee and watching him use it convinced me. This machine is a BEAST Need speed? It can do that. Downloads are instant, super light weight, beautiful color . Display is amazing, batter life is absolutely incredible. Nothing like over ever had before. If you can afford it, get it.
