For context, I haven't had a laptop in a really long time. I have a gaming PC at home that I love, even so I missed having something portable with less distractions. I found that when I was on my PC I would game instead of write or draw so that's why I wanted a MacBook in the first place! As a creative notebook and not for gaming or harsh art programs. With that said, I can't judge how well it runs bigger and heavier programs! The overall feel of this MacBook is so just so sleek. The last time I had a MacBook was in 2010 when they were all white and had acrylic shells. So the sleekness of the laptop is definitely a nice upgrade and fits well in any of my laptop bags. The speed and efficiency of this laptop is also amazing. I often use the Stage Manager setting when flipping through references, writing, and art. I wish my PC had something like this or I really need to find that setting! The screen is amazing! I know this because a friend of mine has the MacBook Air 2024 and when side by side she and I both noticed the notable screen quality difference. It's clearer, brighter {if full brightness is on} and just higher graphics. I didn't think it'd be such a big difference so that was definitely a shock! Color! As a pink enthusiast I was nervous it wouldn't be pink enough but it's beautiful! For all the pink girlies out there, this is one not to miss! It is definitely an eye catcher when I'm out in a cafe or bookstore! I even added a glitter hard case to it make it shine and I'm literally obsessed! Honorable mention to Citrus though because I almost got my roommate to buy one just cause she likes the color! My overall review: Great machine that's sleek, fast, and cute! If you want a creative notebook or relatively strong device for everyday computer usage, I think this is for you. Wish I could test it out for gaming but I don't want to spend the time scrubbing the anti-cheat out of my laptop!

I’ve had this laptop for about a month now, and it has served me very well! I was on a pretty tight budget and didn't need anything crazy powerful for heavy video editing or gaming. I just needed a reliable device for personal browsing, paying bills, and keeping up with my school studies. My absolute biggest worry before buying it was that it might feel slow or laggy, but it isn’t! I've had no issues with daily tasks on it, and the battery life has been great. Plus, I love that they offered the citrus color option. I do love the unique look! If you’re in the market for a personal laptop, want to stay well under $1,000, and really prefer a Mac product, I highly recommend this one. It definitely did not disappoint!

I bought this 13-inch MacBook Neo for my granddaughter who is studying nursing, and it has been absolutely wonderful for her. It is very fast, reliable, and lightweight enough for her to carry around campus and to her clinicals. The 512GB storage gives her plenty of room for all her textbooks, lectures, and assignments. Highly recommend for any student!

Everything you need in a MacBook. It’s lightweight, durable, a manageable size (not too small not overly large), and carries all the basic features a laptop should have to function. Would be nice to have a backlit keyboard, but it’s not a necessity

This product was good for the price. Small compact had a lot of potential, has a lot of potential and is currently getting a potential taken out of it. It is great for on the go and great for quick fixes and internet searches and purchases. Will buy more soon!!

I haven’t come up against anything yet that this new MacBook Neo can’t handle. I use it for both personal and a travel friendly work laptop, so I can leave by massive / heavy 17” laptop plugged into its dock when I’m away from the office. I’m running 8+ tabs in safari, mail, music, messages, Teams, word, excel and PowerPoint at the same time. No problemo. Save your $$ and just get this. I do recommend spending a bit more to get the fingerprint reader and extra storage. The blue color is nice and classy but not boring.

I like this Mac book as it is perfect for school and allows you to customize it to fit its needed use! The battery life is suitable for all day use and if your like me and like to make you electronics aesthetic this is perfect for that two. I needed a reliable computer for my last year of nursing school and have had to purchase two HP computers the past years. They ran slow and made getting work done so much harder. With the Neo I’ve had no issues and it runs fast. I also like the pink color of it but it comes in other shades as well! Overall definitely recommend!

It’s the perfect size. It does everything I need from recording to editing videos. Battery life lasts extremely long (seeing I never shut it off) so that’s even more of a plus.

This has been a great addition to my workflow. It’s lightweight, easy to carry around, and perfect for remote admin work, email, documents, scheduling, and everyday productivity. I have a Mac mini at home for heavier tasks, but adding this MacBook Neo has been well worth the cost. It feels like Apple finally made a great Chromebook alternative while still giving you the quality, ecosystem, and ease of use that comes with a Mac. I’ve liked it so much that I’m buying a second one for my kids’ homeschool work.

I was super bummed when I had to replace my laptop that I took everywhere with me for the entirety of college and my first job—but this one is so nice because it’s lightweight and works well with the rest of my Apple ecosystem. I’m also able to use all of software and programs I need to do my job without compromising the speed or risking my laptop overheating. I love the green color too!
