I've been putting off upgrading my aging Intel-based MacBook Pro from 2019. I've relied on it and my desktop Mac for the past couple of years. Fortunately, Best Buy has always been there when I needed assistance. Their service is excellent, and they provide helpful feedback. I recently purchased the MBP M5 Pro laptop (14-inch), and it works perfectly. It's lightning fast, the display is stunning, and the keyboard is very responsive. It joined my Apple ecosystem seamlessly within minutes. AI models run quickly and efficiently on the M5 chip. Editing in Photoshop is a breeze, and Final Cut Pro had no issues with rendering or exporting. I absolutely love it! Thank you, Best Buy, for a smooth purchase and delivery process

Bought this MacBook Pro for school/video edits/music production and local AI Models and it works amazing for all of them. Ontop of that the battery life is incredible on this thing! I can make it through an entire day without having to charge it. It’s very quick and has an incredible screen on it! Very similar to my OLED panels. This thing is the perfect “on the go machine”. It’s very compact and I look forward to taking it on the plane! I opted for this over the 16” because it’s way easier to carry around vs the 16”. So if you want portability with a fairly large screen then go for this 14”!

Battery life has been excellent, lasting through a full day of use without stress. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Apple: sturdy, sleek, and professional. The keyboard feels great to type on, and the trackpad is still the best in the industry. What really makes this laptop special is the balance—it delivers pro-level power while still being portable and quiet. If you need a machine that feels future-proof and can handle serious work for years, the M5 MacBook Pro is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

I was needing a laptop upgrade for a few years and finally bit the bullet. Best Buy had the best price around, and I searched for a few weeks to make sure. I was looking for more memory, and this was perfect for all of the 167,000 photos I store in iPhoto, as well as the excel spreadsheets I work on daily. I didn’t have to think twice when setting it up, iCloud makes it a breeze with data transfer from my old computer. I highly recommend this laptop and buying from Best Buy. It’s much lighter weight which I love, (the screen is also smaller) than my 2018 MacBook Pro and feels really great to work on. I love it!

This computer is insanely fast. This is the only computer I have ever owned in my life, that NEVER struggles. I’ve owned a Mac Tower that was from 1998, then a Mac Mini from 2004, then a 2010 Macbook Pro, a 2017 Macbook, an iPad air with the M1 chip and this is my first Apple Desktop with an M chip. The battery life is insane. I get 16-20 hours if I an working in low lights or 6 hours if working in direct sunlight. This computer never spins, needs time to load or anything. It is just FAST. If you need a computer that can handle a lot, this is a great choice.

I'm so happy with the Macbook Pro the M5 chips are beyond amazing. I had an M2 Pro max years ago and this is runs smoother and is definately an upgrade I also love the portability of the 14" compared to the 16" it gives me portability with great performance

I’ve been using the M5 Pro MacBook Pro for a bit now and I honestly love it. It feels premium right out of the box and runs everything super smoothly with no lag. I use it a lot connected to my monitor and it handles everything easily. The display looks amazing and the battery life has been great so far. Overall I really enjoy using it every day and it definitely feels worth it. If you’re thinking about getting one, I’d say go for it.

I’ve had this computer for about a month now and it’s perfect. I do some photo editing as well as in grad school with some programs that I have to run and would absolutely drain the battery on my old laptop. I can easily go 3-4 days with this laptop before I have to worry about plugging it in. Very quick start up and processing power is fantastic.

Love the M5 Pro speed and the laptop weight, yet the frame seems rigid instead of flexible. For someone migrating from another MacBook, it’s very easy. The only downside is the SSD storage costs… Apple ramps up the price quickly for storage.

In love with it! I just recently changed my 2017 MacBook Pro. After almost 10 years, btw it still works perfectly I just wanted something new. Download speed are phenomenal, nothing crashes, awesome screen resolution and imagine. Haven’t been able to mess much with the AI but I’m sure it’s great! I really like it!

This configuration is the “Goldilocks” of the M5 Pro MacBook Pro line up. It can do everything I need it to do, from live music recording, video post production, audio post production and it’s more adaptive to AI. Plus I got an open box so that like a 10% discount right there. Highly recommended.

’m extremely happy with this laptop. I saved $500 off the original price, which made it an incredible deal. The extra storage is a huge plus, and all of my programs run perfectly and smoothly. The performance has been excellent, and I have more than enough space for everything I need. Most importantly, I feel confident that I won’t need to upgrade for a very, very long time. For the price I paid, this was definitely a great purchase. Highly recommended!

Great battery life eliminates worrying about traveling with battery packs/cords

I switched from windows to Mac, and I’m so glad I did. I have an iPhone and everything works so seamlessly, which is helpful when I want to transition from working on one to the other. I love how it looks, feels, and works. I also love the size — so easy to just grab and go.
