I’ve been using the Magic Mouse for a while now and it’s been great. The design looks sleek and premium, and it pairs instantly with my Mac. The touch gestures make navigating macOS feel smooth and intuitive, especially when scrolling through pages or switching between apps. Battery life has been excellent, and I only need to charge it occasionally. It’s lightweight, responsive, and keeps my desk setup looking clean. Overall, a great mouse for anyone already in the Apple ecosystem.

I absolutely love this mouse. The design is super sleek and minimal, and it pairs instantly with my Mac. This is my first Magic Mouse. Up to now I've just used tracpads for my Mac Mini. I made a choice this time to try the Magic Mouse for a second Mac Mini I've had to set up at a second location. I also saved a few $$$ by purchasing a "previously returned" mouse. The "MULTI-TOUCH SURFACE" is a great (and surprising) feature of this mouse! It's kind like a 'mini-tracpad'. Additionally, I appreciate the long battery life. It's small and has a good fit in my hand but for someone with very large hands, it might be TOO small. You know who you are so if your hands are large go see one in person before you buy. Larger hands may require a trackpad for better use and comfort. The only negative is that the charger port is on the bottom of the mouse. It's minor, but just slightly inconvenient. Since it does have such a LONG battery life it's easy enough to just turn over and charge it when you stop working. I've used Apple devices now for about 10 years. In the war between PCs and Macs, the Apple Devices were always touted as more intuitive for creative people. (and I fit in that category) I've used PC's for a couple of decades before that - even though I initially and always wanted to start with Apple. However, when I bought my first computer, I was taking classes and at that time the only computers compatible with my classes were PC's. I don't have strong preferences between either platform in 2025, and still find occasions when I need to use both. But the best thing about APPLE is how integrated all your devices are - automatically.

I’d say this mouse is almost perfect (threw my old Apple Magic Mouse away because of the “Lightning cable” charger port / useless), but why why why Apple do you keep putting the charging port on the bottom of the mouse??? That makes ZERO sense. At least I got it on sale and used some rewards to buy it, as I def would not pay retail for this mouse. On the other hand, I will say it connects quickly and holds a charge for a loooooong time, and is very smooth when using with my 16” MacBook Pro M1 Max :)

I really love this Apple mouse because it's low profile, easy to fit in the hand, and moves smoothly. It's easy to pair and connect to my MacBook, and the settings are easy to adjust. It's an attractive mouse, too, with a clean and slim look.

Works really great with that macbook i got. Easy to pair. Long battery life. I haven’t charged it since I got it.

I really like the ease of scrolling and swiping with the Magic Mouse and I love the double-tap feature to quickly zoom in and out. The only negative is the charging port being on the bottom which makes the mouse unusable while being charged. (see picture)

I bought the magic mouse along with the magic keyboard. I figured it is better to get both since I plan to use them with my Mac Studio. It came with a USB-C cable and has a on/off switch for user to toggle when not in use. I like the look and feel, although the scrolling from a regular mouse seems to be in reverse to what my brain is trained it should be. But it could be the MAC iOS is the reason why. I am still a student at learning and remembering the differences between the two.

Pros - *This mouse is simply beautifully made. It's sleek, aluminum bodied, and has that striking and recognizable look and quality that Apple products carry. *It feels wonderful in the hand and you can feel the quality. *The multi touch gestures you can do on this mouse are incredible and make navigating a mac a breeze. *The slim sleek design makes this thing disappear in your backpack or laptop case. Super portability. *The new black color is a welcome change and I wish they would offer even more. *The new USB C charging port is a welcome change that allows for one less cord to be plugged in at your desk. (I'm so happy we're moving towards making it the universal standard.) Cons- *Incredibly overpriced like most Apple products and charging $30 more simply because it's colored black is simply ridiculous. It offers NO improvements over the standard white model *Ergonomically this thing is super uncomfortable and hard to get used to. *The touch gestures often go off when you don't want them to and gaming with those gestures enable is simply a nightmare. *The USB C charging port is STILL placed on the bottom of the mouse despite this being the 3rd revision of this mouse. The original took 2 double A batteries, then we got the lightning cable model with the charger on the bottom. Everyone complained about not being able to charge and use the mouse at the same time. If your mouse is dead you simply have to sit and wait on it to charge which sucks if you're in a hurry and need to complete a task. With no removable battery you are FORCED to wait which is a major inconvenience when it happens. STAY ON TOP OF CHARGING WHEN NOT IN USE. Then the USB C model came out and instead of fixing the issue they left it in the same spot. Apple has some REALLY silly practices and are VERY stubborn when it comes to obvious flaws and complaints from users. If they would simply listen to their user base and make these minor changes their products could be perfection and at the prices they charge, they really kind of need to be! Conclussion - Despite Apple's MANY flaws, they make a hell of a product and if you want the cool matching Apple branded mouse with all of the gestures that is simply plug and play with your Macbook "issue free" then you have to fork over that hefty price. I would recommend this product to those who have tried it and KNOW the comfort is not going to be an issue. Another great option (available from Best Buy) - If you want something more comfortable and more "classic mouse" look up the logitech MX Master series that is VERY popular with macbook owners and offers way more bang for your buck. Best Buy sells them on their website.

Works great with Mac book as well as other Apple products. Battery is amazing long lasting.

Obviously pairs well and connects directly to my MacBook without the need to plug in external Bluetooth connectors especially when there’s limited USB slots on those newer machines. Always recommend it to my Audio Engineer buddies or anybody that travels for work. Fits perfectly in my jeans pocket especially when i have to ran across the airport to catch my flight, train or bus! Lmao!

Connects to MacOs well. Touch features are innovative. Scrolling takes time to get used to. Mouse too flat not my usual grip style. Sensor too high on mouse should be closer to center palm. Would only recommend if you want an all Apple setup on your desk.

This mouse is amazing. It has made my computer activity increase. I can navigate my MacBook more easily, and I have not experienced any of the glitches that I was having with my Logitech Mouse. I love the features that come with the mouse as well.

The Black Apple Magic Mouse I purchased from Best Buy works very well with my new MacBook Air 15" laptop that I also purchased from Best Buy (Midnight color). Highly recommend it for Apple lovers!
