I bought an Apple Power extension cable as gift for one of friends so that she didn’t have to basically live on top of my power outlet. She absolutely adores it as she no longer feels like decoration on a wall. Whether you just need some flexibility to do work on a couch or know someone that could benefit from a little extra slack in their life I would recommend giving this to any Mac user . . .

I was always worried that if they ever made a new MacBook Pro that the adapter wouldn’t have a different kind that could fit into a wall I’m glad I was wrong it works perfectly with my MacBook Pro 2018

This is a very useful product. Should be included with the laptop to be honest. A little expensive but that’s Apple I guess

I got this adapter for my First-Ever Apple Device, my new 14" MacBook Pro M4 Max, since it had a problem where if you have the MagSafe Charger connected, you could hear the CPU Signal though the Headphone Jack, and it made working with sound very hard. Getting this adapter fixed that up no problem at all, and I haven't heard that sound since. Apple makes it easy to connect the adapter to your charging brick, and all you have to do is slide off the 2-Pin head on the brick (which does take a bit of force when you do it for the first time), and then you plug in the new 3-Pin Cable, that also adds some extra length to your charger, and finally you just plug it into the wall. Super Easy, and a very nice thing to have for your new MacBook, and I would definitely recommend it!

I'm so glad Apple still makes this !!! So very helpful with my classic MacBook Pro 2006 version. It's so easy to install. You can say, it's an easy plug and play.

The extension cable is a great addition. I can be on the other side of the room and charge my laptop. Pro Durability. This thing feels like its going to last a while. Its thick, it seems like it can take a beating. Im not worried about throwing it in my bag or taking it with me on trips. Con Weight. While this thing feels durable, it definitely has some heft to it. Unfortunately, if Im trying to pack light or if Im taking a lot of stuff, it really makes me think hard about whether or not I need it.

Not much to it, it extends your apple chargers by a couple of feet. Buying this will save you money in the long run because they NEVER break and are built like tanks- so this allows you to refrain from purchasing those super pricey 6' cables. With this, you can save money by buying cheaper 3' cables and not have to worry about the length. Unfortunately, iPhone chargers, etc, do not have this high of quality.

I lost my original extension that came in the box and after rearranging our living room, my charger hardly reached the couch. This made charging my MacBook while using it impossible unless I wanted to go to another room. I was so thankful to find out there was a replacement extension cable after realizing I lost my original! I love that I can take the extension off when it’s not needed so I don’t have a bunch of unneeded cord if I need to charge my MacBook at school! Great product!

I only bought this because it was an open-box special discount. I struggled to reach any outlets with the standard charger length, this extension cable is a gem! It does not tangle, it looks like it just came right out of the MacBook box. It seems heavy-duty and it makes me feel better knowing it's original Apple product, optimized for safety and quality with Apple products. This is essential. It looks much nicer than if you used any other extension cord.

My old MacBook Pro came with this extension cable in the box. It was a welcome accessory, not only allowing me to move farther from the outlet, but gave me the freedom of plugging in the charger wherever I pleased, without having to fear the giant block attached to the prongs getting in the way of anything else. Unfortunately, it looks like these days Apple is trying to "cut costs" by removing it from the standard kit. I'm glad they're still offered at all, rather than being phased out, but it's kind of a bummer to have to buy an additional piece of equipment that is basically essential for the laptop to operate. I wish they'd think different.

I bought this to go with my MacBook because mine did not come with it and I am very happy with it. I can now use and charge it in places where I couldn't before because the regular cord is so short. This extension cord is making my life so much easier. It works just as well,is easy to switch out and fits perfectly. i recommend anyone who doesn't have one gets one.

I usually don't need the extension cable for my devices, but when I do, I'm extremely happy to have one on-hand. Coffee shops and board rooms are perfect examples of where you might need an extension. Another great thing is that this works for both a MacBook Pro charger, as well as an iPad/Pro charger. Definitely a good thing to have around.

This Apple - Power Adapter Extension Cable converts many Apple Chargers / Wall Power Supplies with this generous extension. My favorite use is to connect the Apple 30 Watt charger to it, which has the USB-C receptacle. Plug the MagSafe cable into it & you can read your phone while your iPhone is on charge in bed. The standard cord provided by apple is hardly 6 feet, with this you can add a few more feet. It says it works only with the MagSafe adapters but it also works just fine with a USB-C cord from apple.

I must say this is a good accessory for any MacBook charger , makes it easy. I wish Apple would’ve given you the option to have this in the box, it’s kind of silly that they make you buy this extra. you buy this, there’s no issues with charger falling off the wall or where ever you have it plug-in , this is just simple pull the other accessory off The charger brick and replace it with this extension and you’re set to go, no issues worrying about falling off the wall it just works

Was running into trouble in meetings and while traveling being able to charge my laptop while working comfortably as the standard cord was too short for certain situations. This cord does the trick! A little bulky to carry around but gets the job done.

When you need to charge up, this cable gives you the extra space needed to plug it in and find a seat to keep on working/playing. Designed specifically to fit, so its not some cheesy cord that will fall off.

The charger extension cable is exactly what I was looking for. It fit perfectly into my current MacBook Air charger and now I can easily charge my laptop from any distance.

I wish apple still included these with the MacBooks but what can you do? Overall they are fairly sturdy and are easy to install into the new power adapters.
